I didn't know what to think when I picked this novella up, other than that it had two things I wanted to read about, catgirls and maids.
Colt has crafted a wonderful story that explores a number of kinks and does it in a realistic and very sex positive manner. There is a lot in this novella that I enjoyed. The protagonist is a wonderful character. Her situation is believable, her reaction to the things that confront her are realistic, and her eventual enjoyment of her kinks was one that I think many readers will enjoy. Her employers are also interesting characters, each of them having their own goals and their own interest in what they want from a catgirl maid.
I was very impressed by this novella, and would gladly read it again. The plot beats are bang on, I never grew bored at any point and Colt could have easily bogged the story down in pointless details. There was a point when I started reading that I was disappointed that the catgirl wasn't a true catgirl, but in the end everything worked out extremely well, and between the tail buttplug and ear headband makes this extremely enticing.
So if you are looking for an interesting story about a girl who puts on a maid outfit and discovers a new side of herself, this is a book for you!

It was ok
It was kind’ve a meh read. I didn’t really get invested until towards the end. It has a very slow start. Kim as the main protagonist is likable. Her reactions are mostly believable. As for her employers; Elliot’s the more calm and compassionate of the two. He’s more gentle towards Kim whenever she messes up. Sylvia on the other hand, is a crazy, manipulative bitch. Her planting that necklace as a “test” was pretty twisted. She really loves to play mind games with our heroine.
The sex scenes are ok. How they begin is a little strange and when you take in the contexts and huge power imbalance, they can off more as strange and even abusive. Not gonna lie, they are hot. The domination element works well here (though it can be strange at times.)
If you like Dominance in your stories and good girls gone bad, check it out I guess. If you want real cat girls though and something with less of a power imbalance, you might want to search elsewhere. For me, this was an ok little kitty. Admittedly, I’m not sure if I’d read the sequel anytime soon.
