Three lost souls

Growing up in the eclectic, small town of Bliss was wonderful for Callie Sheppard. She loved everything about it, except for the lack of potential romantic partners. She only went wild once in her life, sharing a perfect weekend in Dallas with two incredible men she never thought she would see again. When they parted, she was left with a hole in her heart she feared would never be filled.

One romantic weekend

DEA agents Nathan Wright and Zane Hollister were thrilled when Callie agreed to spend the weekend with them. Just days away from a long, undercover assignment, they considered this passionate affair to be an ideal way to spend their last days of freedom. They never expected to fall in love. Leaving her behind was the hardest decision of their lives.

An unexpected reunion

Six years later, Callie is preparing to break in a new sheriff after Rye Harper walked out on the job. Her heart skips a few beats when the man walking through the door is none other than Nate Wright. Nate and Zane have come to Bliss, but their time undercover has left them broken and scarred. The boys are determined to win back Callie’s heart. But when the criminals they took down come seeking revenge, Nate and Zane may have to save the strange little town of Bliss before they can reclaim the woman they love.

We won’t be polite with you. There won’t be anything staid about the way we fuck you. You’re ours. We’ll take you when we want, how we want."

I've said it before, and I'll say it again; I'm obsessed with these re-releases. I'm not sure how I'm only discovering now, considering I've devoured Lexi Blake's entire backlist. But better late then never, I say. And as much as I'm enjoying her titles under Sophie Oak pen name, nothing stokes my fire more than the Nights In Bliss series. There's just something about this deliciously kinky series with its added element of suspense that just does it for me.

Callie Harper was a character that caught my attention immediately with book 1. There were hints about a man from her past, and I couldn't wait to learn all the kinky details. And lo and behold, but the woman was hiding not one, but two men in her past. Two incredibly sexy men that she hands her virginity to in one amazing weekend that her friend Stefan helped to set up, only to never hear from them again.

Nate and Zane are about to go on a career making undercover assignment for the DEA, and while they know they can't have anything with the beautiful woman that immediately steals their heart, they can't help but fall for her anyway. Only to sneak away in the early morning to never see her again. But when the assignment that they invested years into goes all kinds of wrong, they need a place to escape. And what's better than the sleepy town of Bliss where their old friend Stefan still resides. While Zane broods and hides away at their house, Nate becomes the new town sherif. But nothing prepares him for the quirkiness of the town or the potency of his feelings for the woman still residing there that he's never gotten over.
With these two men she wasn’t Callie, the shoulder to cry on, the responsible one. With Nate and Zane, she was a lover, a sexy vixen who took two men at once and left both of them satisfied.

I loved Callie's sass and the way she didn't just roll over and take Nate's grumpiness of dealing with the quirky town and it's people. I also loved the way she wasn't afraid to give as good as she got. I certainly didn't expect for the broody and broken Zane to be the sweet and easy one in the menage, but man did I love the sparks between them. I loved watching Nate fall deeper and deeper under the spell of the town and Callie. And while this was an MFM coupling, I still loved the bond he had with Zane. Even if my inner perv did want them to get it on at times. What? Like you wouldn't.

I thought I loved the first book in the series, but this one was even better. I already can't wait to see what the next one brings and to see the domineering Stef finally brought to his knees by a woman.

Two To Love had everything; fun secondary characters, a great story with some action packed suspense, and of course some steamy menage action. I couldn't get enough of it!

First thoughts after reading.

Good thing I gave the book a second chance otherwise I would have missed out.

The characters & chemistry.

Callie as the only girl in Bliss it was hard for her to explore her sexuality. Exploring with her best friends just isn't cutting it so with Stef's help her fantasies are fulfilled.

I really liked Callie she is the one who comforts everyone, the shoulder to cry on. She is strong and a spitfire and knows how to keep the lads of their toes. Callie spent a magical weekend with two of the best guys.

Zane comes from the wrong side of the tracks. That weekend with Callie changed his life but they had plans, to follow his best friend into law enforcement only after all the hard work and years of being undercover he was betrayed.

I adore Zane. He is the one who although broody got his head out of his ar$e and embraced Bliss. I love his tortured soul. He is good for Callie and made her feel wanted and desirable.

Nate comes from money only he struck out on his own to go undercover with the Barbarians and now he has nothing left. No trust fund and no status. His job at the DEA is still secure but he can’t leave Zane in the lurch.

I didn't like him when he first came to Bliss. Yes, a lot had gone wrong at but his way of dealing with it all was annoying and pathetic. Although by the end of the book he did redeem himself somewhat at least.

Get fans ladies and an extra pair of knickers (American pants) because you will need them. It is hot. It is steamy. It will give you tingles. Be it Callie & Zane or Nate & Callie. Or all three holy moly. Not the guys though although they are best friends they aren’t into that. Pity really.

The writing & the plot.

It was good to get a before they meet again it set a nice tone otherwise I would have ended up hating the guys well Nate for sure. Admittedly it was out of the ordinary but fun nevertheless and full on naughty.

Bliss, Colorado is unique. They all seem like hicks and live in a bubble but when it truly matters they all get their shotguns and are ready to shoot some balls.

Once the 'help' turned up it was so glaring obvious who, why and what was going to happen. There is one twist that I hadn't seen a coming so there is that and it added to the plot nicely.

The pace of this book was better than the first one. At no time did I feel as if either Nate or Zane were left out. Zane embraced Bliss life quicker than Nate which I loved reading about.

I love banter and when something is hilarious but at times it went straight up ridiculousness. I mean come on some of their thoughts we're just plain idiotic at times. Why when you are in a dangerous situation would you think it wouldn't be a good idea to haul arse out of that bar? These two are trained law enforcement and they might be outnumbered. But they are trying to save you!!!

The Verdict.

Overall enjoyable but there are some things that would need to be tweaked for my liking. Too much craziness nearly took me away from the plot and what was happening to our characters. At times it was a little OTT. After pushing past Nate being an idiot it got better. I don’t really know about the next book though.

TWO TO LOVE (Nights in Bliss, Colorado Book #2) by Lexi Blake is a suspenseful, sexy, and humorous erotic romantic suspense with a great cast of characters that had me laughing out loud, turning the pages to make sure the good guys win, and sweatin’ to hot and sexy throuple sex. This is the second book in the series and can be read as a standalone, but I suggest you read book #1 first for more fun info and backstory on all the town folk of Bliss.

Callie Sheppard loves her hometown of Bliss, but the dating pool is limited. She finally decides to treat herself to a set up by one of her best friends with two men in Dallas. After a wonderful weekend, they leave her a note that leaves her heartbroken. Nate and Zane are DEA agents and agreed to the sexual set-up for a fun night before they have to go undercover. They did not expect to fall in love.

Six years later, Zane is almost killed in the DEA operation when he is outed to the motorcycle gang. He is having a hard time recovering with PTSD and a knife slashed face and body. Nate feels obligated to help his best friend and accepts the open sheriff position in Bliss, Colorado where he is shocked to find Callie as the sheriff department admin. As both men attempt to win back Callie’s love, they are still under threat when a hit is put out on Zane from the incarcerated motorcycle gang leader.

These books are so much fun, but they also are well written romantic suspense stories. The main characters go through all the angst of a one-on-one couple, there just happen to be two heroes and one heroine, or a throuple. The men have been friends their entire lives, but they are not bi-sexual, they share Callie and are a committed threesome. The romantic suspense kept me reading, the town folk kept me entertained, and the sex scenes are smokin’ hot and steamy. The town of Bliss is full of wonderful secondary characters that make me laugh out loud as well as cheer them on as they protect those, they consider their own.

I highly recommend this exciting erotic romantic suspense, and I cannot wait to get the next book in the series.

Two to Love is still in the quirky town of Bliss Colorado with the nudist colony, a mountain man who believes in aliens and a moose who greets people to the town.

In book two we get Callie's story. She hinted in book one about an experience with two men when she was talking to Rachel. Now we get the full story of just who Callie was with and why she is no longer with them.

She lead us to believe that the men didn't return her affection, but of course there is more to the story. When Nate and Zane come to town they bring a whole lot of trouble with them.

The people of Bliss were just as entertaining as in book 1 and Callie, Nate and Zane's encounters were hot! I can't wait to get Jen and Stef's story next!

Sophie Oak is my hero. I love the town of Bliss that we get to re-visit through this installment.

The beginning was a little rough for me. Our favorite sheriff's secretary and local nudist is done being a virgin and decides to have one of her best buds hook her up with two dudes, because popping your cherry isn't nerve wracking enough...she wants an audience.

After a weekend boinkfest the trio is beyond the stars in love, but the boys have some urgent/dangerous business that they have to go to, and leave our heroine a note for her troubles. Dicks.

We then fast forward to the present, and I am happy to say that the snarky, steamy, heart-warming, ass-slapping stories that I have come to love from this author are back.

We are treated to a little more danger, and a little stronger BDSM slant (still very lite by most standards) than the previous book Three to Ride. Our men are ex-feds who are drawn to Bliss by Stefan...who seems to pull the puppet strings in this town, and who conveniently "forgets" to tell them that Callie (our heroine) is going to be working alongside of our scruffy sherrif.

The book flew by for me. We get hot sex, dramatic reunion sex, shower sex, nudist camp erections, and a great little town coming together to protect it's own. I never thought I would get misty about a man declaring in front of the town that he didn't want to wear a condom...but trust me read this book and you'll be touched by it too.

5 stars. These go in the re-re-read pile. I can't wait to read more.

It’s time for another Lexi Blake writing as Sophie Oak re-release: Yay! I think Nights in Bliss is my favorite series of Ms. Blake’s. I just can’t get enough of the craziness of the town’s inhabitants and they pulled out all the stops in this one.

Two To Love is Callie, Nate and Zane’s story. After they shared one wild, sexy weekend six years ago, Nate and Zane left a brokenhearted Callie with only a goodbye note. Going into deep cover to infiltrate a 1% motorcycle club, they couldn’t stay no matter how much they wanted to. They had no idea it would last as long as it did, nor that things would go seriously bad at the end leaving Nate to pick up the pieces of a broken and scarred Zane. Stefan convinces Nate to move to Bliss and take over Rye’s position as sheriff in the hopes that Zane would find peace in the little mountain town.
Maybe the strong of arm should protect the strong of heart. Because scars could heal, and those naive assholes out there still thought the scarred could be beautiful.

Callie had been raised in Bliss by her late naturist mother. Beloved by the town for a reason, she’s super sweet and has an inherent need to take care of everyone. Needless to say, I adored her. It’s easy for a super sweet heroine to succumb to too-sweet-itis, but that wasn’t the case with Callie, probably because she had a backbone underneath all the sugary sweetness and just a tiny bit of a temper. It also helped that she didn’t have a judgmental bone in her body and went out of her way to treat everyone with respect and care no matter how whacky their beliefs or lifestyle were.

I really liked Zane too. He was unbelievably loyal, especially to Nate and it cost him dearly. He did get on my nerves a bit with his constant willingness to sacrifice himself rather than fight when his past caught up with him. In the headspace he occupied at the time, though, I understood why he kept going there, even if I wanted to shake him until his teeth fell out.

Nate was the one I had a hard time with. He had his own demons to fight but he was a judgmental ass almost up until the very end when he finally saw the light. There were more than just a few times I kind of wished he’d just up and leave Zane and Callie to it. The humorous situations his actions brought on did soothe my ire, especially when it came to a certain rubber ducky, but they didn’t keep me from wanting to throat punch him a time or two.

There was no denying that the three had chemistry and heat enough to start an inferno. The sexiest thing of all, though, was the actual feelings they had for each other that made them burn that much hotter. Nate and Zane weren’t lovers, but they truly loved each other and both loved Callie. This was the glue that kept their story together for me.
We’re all damaged. We’re all scarred. Sometimes you simply can’t see the scars. Besides, perfection is boring. Perfect things tend to be the most fragile.

How the whole town of Bliss came together for Callie was the added bonus. Their shenanigans had me in stitches more than once. At other times, the wisdom that was imparted impressed me. Nell and her talk with Zane was a shining example of this, as she gently started to open Zane’s eyes about where true beauty sometimes springs from.

Two To Love was heartwarming, emotional, gut-bustingly hilarious at times and had just the right amount of action while also being sexy as hell. This can be a hard combination to pull off, but even with a character I wanted to throttle, Ms. Blake pulled it off. I can’t wait to read the next one.

Callie spent a wild weekend with Zane and Nate years ago and never really got over them leaving her behind with no way to contact them. She never expected to see them again so she's totally shocked when she finds out that Nate is the new Sheriff in her hometown, Bliss, especially since that makes him her boss and impossible to avoid. Nate now is very different to the fun loving guy she remembers though, he's more closed off and makes it quite clear that he has no interest in picking things up where they left off. Nate and Zane have spent the last six years working undercover with a dangerous gang for the DEA, things went sideways when Zane's cover was blown and he suffered the consequences both physically and emotionally. Nate is determined to help Zane heal but he has no idea how to get through to him, until Callie walks back into their lives that is. They both always regretted walking away from Callie but with so much history between them Nate isn't sure they can find a way back to each other.

First I have to start off by saying how much I love Bliss, the town is full of fun and slightly kooky characters but it's a place where everyone brings their own brand of weird so nobody is judged by anyone else. There's a nudist colony, a guy who believes aliens are out to get to him and they already have one out and proud threesome so they think nothing of Callie being interested in two guys. As much as I'm also enjoying the Texas Sirens series I really like the openness in this series and the way the town stand together when any member is in need. Callie grew up in Bliss and she can't imagine living anywhere else. It's obvious how much everyone loves her and that they rely on her but unfortunately for her there aren't that many romantic prospects so she's been alone for a long time.

Nate is struggling to deal with his guilt over the torture that Zane suffered while he went to get backup, he's also very career focused and can't wait to get out of Bliss and back to his real life in the city - he just needs to heal Zane up a bit first. Out of the two guys Nate was the hardest to get to know because he always had one foot out of the door looking for better opportunities but it becomes clear that he's just trying to live up to his father's high expectations and he does eventually realise that success doesn't equal happiness and isn't always the most important thing on offer. Zane was totally my favourite though, on the outside he's bigger and badder but inside he's an absolute sweetheart. From the minute he sees Callie again he sets out to show her how much he cares and how much he wants to be a part of her life from here onwards. Both Callie and Zane are willing to fight for what they need and neither of them will accept anything less than total commitment from Nate.

As I've come to expect from Lexi Blake the chemistry was fantastic but the story wasn't all sex, there were some really sweet and romantic moments, a little action and a lot of humorous moments too. I'm loving these rereleases and can't wait for the next book!

The second book set in Bliss was just as blissfully sexy as the first one I read. I enjoyed this book greatly. I loved Zane. Nate was a stick in the mud who needed his ass kicked. Callie - the poor dumb girl. Callie is actually the sweetest girl. She is the embodiment of a nice girl. I love how she's so tolerant and helpful. She truly has a good heart. Zane is the perfect match for her. He's kind of zaney. (Couldn't help it!) Nate was definitely the rich boy now poor one. He was pretty messed up if he thought the people he loved would be able to survive in the hoity toity high society.

The slight suspense and mystery going on was actually quite easy to guess and I knew immediately who the bad guys where. I immediately put 2 + 2 = 4 when I found out about the missing account numbers. SO if you are reading for a complex story line regarding the situation, this is not the book for you. If you want to read a deep and meaningful relationship between a triad, this is a book for you. The sex is once again pretty hot. It's not too kinky, but the way Ms. Oak writes her sex scenes, it feel so real that I receive a delicious little voyeur thrill. What I enjoy most is how the small town of Bliss pulls together. Another great read with romance and a HEA.

I just love the residents of Bliss, Colorado. One could only wish there was a town that was so accepting of people's choices, protective of their neighbors, and loony enough to keep life interesting.

I loved the first part of the book and then it was a little boring, or rather repetitive towards the middle of the book. The end more than made up for it. The townspeople is what makes this series so special and the fact that they play such a big part in the story. Plus we get a pretty good dose of the main characters from the first book, who I just loved.

It took me a while to warm up to Callie, who I really enjoyed from the Three to Ride. I loved Zane and just wanted to wrap my arms around that big brute. Nate grated on my nerves, but then his personality was described as overbearing. It all came together in the end, with some laugh out loud moments and I was charmed by all of them. I look forward to Stefan and Jen's book, One to Keep, and some more craziness in Bliss.

We are back once again in Bliss, Colorado in Sophie Oak’s latest new release, Two to Love. Given the title alone, we are well aware that is going to be a menage and so if that is not your type of genre then be warned but if you are looking for something steamy, sexy, passionate, and a little suspense thrown into the mix with engaging characters then this book is for you.

Lexi Blake Nights in Bliss bk 02 Two to Love

Clothing Optional

Callie Sheppard had a simple request. OK, so maybe it wasn't entirely simple, but what a request it was! 🥵 I love how she tackles her needs and wants.

She never did anything without a great deal of energy. It was one of the hottest things about her.
-- Zane Hollister

I love Zane Hollister. He's got a heart of gold. He's rough around the edges, giving Max Harper a run for his money as the town gloom squad leader, but I just want to hug him.

On the other hand, Nate Wright frequently rubs me the wrong way. He's self-absorbed for much of the book and acts like a Neanderthal on too many occasions. He's not a bad guy, just an inconsiderate boyfriend and friend.

Overall, I like their story. It's definitely steamy, humorous, scary, and intriguing. I fall more for this town of misfits and those looking for a place to belong with every turn of the page. I can't wait for the next installment.

I read along with the audio book. I really like the narrators, Lee Samuels and Kitty Bang. Duet is preferred, but I still like them. 🎧💙🎧

Mmmm....not as good as I was hoping for after Three to Ride. The sex was unquestionably hot. Sex against the wall in the shower...yum yum. Awesome first scene although I can't believe she took two guys on at once for her first time out of the gate. At least they were sweet about it and made it special for her. Bliss is an interesting town. Never any end of laughs, that's for sure. I laughed when they took refuge in the nudist (oh, excuse me, naturist) colony and all the guys were like, "Dude, put your pants on!" to Zane. I laughed when Rye and Max (from the first book) locked up Rachel in a holding cell so she wouldn't organize her own little group with shotguns. And I REALLY laughed when Sheriff Wright proclaimed his love for Callie by announcing to the town that he didn't want to wear a condom if Zane didn't have to. Yeah, pretty funny moments. You have to read them to really appreciate them. Reading the first one isn't a must, but it definitely makes reading them better, so I would suggest reading the Bliss series in order. I intend to. The problems that I had with this book were that there was no real explanation for why Zane and Nate didn't call Callie for six years...and why didn't she? I mean, clearly they all could have reached each other through Stef. And it just seemed a little too...off to me that after one night, they were in love with her and never wanted to let her go. I kind of get why she did...they were her firsts and onlies...but a little more relationship development and lengthening of the falling in love process would have been nice to read about. All in all, solid menage. :)

It took me a few days to finally write the review for this book. I was so mad at the end! Don't get me wrong, it's a good story, really good and the ending was good, but I was mad.

This is really a 4 star story, but because of some vocabulary errors that intruded and dropped me back into reality I had to take away a star.

When I read a book, I get into it. I'm immersed in the story. Suspension of disbelief is vital to me to thoroughly enjoy the story. I was REALLY into this story and then reality intruded because the author didn't do her research.

What do I mean by this?

In the story the men are former DEA agents. I'm good with this and I like that part of the story. However, when she started talking about in earnest, she called it the Drug Enforcement Agency. It's the Drug Enforcement Administration. She said they went to the Bureau Office, and I could tell she meant the DEA office. DEA does not call their office Bureau offices, that's an FBI thing. And only the FBI has directors, not the DEA. Using the wrong terminology dropped me out of the story and right smack dab in the middle of reality with a bit thump! To say it made me mad, is an understatement.

Because of these intrusions, I had to take away 1 star.

It's no surprise that i'm a huge fan of Lexi Blake's and especially her pen name Sophie Oak. While both are one and the same, i still maintain that they have differences that make the experience vary from one to the other. While Lexi Blake gets your blood pumping through her romantic suspense and the world of the Masters & Mercenaries, Sophie Oak's books will tug at your heart strings and make you see alternate lifestyles with a different eye.

Two To Love is the second book in the Nights In Bliss, Colorado - now i've had the chance to read the previous instalment, which was a story of different characters, so this was a bit of a surprise in a sense. Considering i had previously read the Texas Sirens, in a way i believed we'd continue with Rachel's story, so it came to a surprise when we got Callie's story. While it came as a surprise, i was captivated by this story.

It was heartfelt, emotional and it was unexpected. i'm used to seeing men be dominant, strong, ready to tackle any situation, and rarely do i see them really need someone to centre them, and yet, this is exactly what we get with Callie, Nate and Zane. Two ex DEAs who are trying to find something to keep them from doing something they might regret, and at the same time wanting to reconnect with their one regret - Callie. What touched me the most was that even through his pain and his own problems, Zane still thought about having Nate settled with the love of his life before wanting to disappear. For his part, Nate would do just about anything for Zane, to have his friend back, to get the woman that slipped through their fingers and find that one thing that has been eluding him since the moment he laid eyes on her.

For her part, Callie isn't the kind of woman that you can dismiss easily - she's incredibly strong physically and mentally, and for certain, able to handle just about anything anyone can throw her way. I loved how these characters came together. I'm just a bit disappointed that my own surprise in not seeing Rachel and her men come back again in another instalment get in my way - so for sure i'll be reading this story again in the future to truly appreciate the type of story that Sophie Oak created for her readers.

The town of Bliss is crazy. But they're my kind of crazy. :) Another great menage with Zane, Nate and Callie. But the biggest draw are the crazies in Bliss, just love them. The town hall meeting was hilarious and so was one rubber ducky. And I loved how they banded together. And I will say one thing about the twist. I did not see that coming. If you want a fun, hot, read with a bit of suspense, this is the book for you.

What a GREAT story and sequel to the first story in this series. Once again, I loved all the characters and secondary characters in this quirky little town of Bliss, Colorado. There were so many great scenes between the heroine and her 2 hottie men. Many that made me laugh, some that made me cry. I can't wait to read the next book and want to read Stefan's story.

Just did a re-read.

Lexi Blake is rekindling the love that I have for her books, one beautiful love story at a time. I was SO DAMN excited for the re-release of TWO TO LOVE, book two in her Nights in Bliss, Colorado Series. I first fell in LOVE with these three characters years ago, and when the last page was turned, I realized, that she just made me fall in LOVE all over again! TWO TO LOVE had page after page of beautiful, sexy, sweetness! Callie, Nate, and Zane were one of my favorite trios back in the day, and they just solidified their high standing in my mind with this AMAZING re-release! If you’re looking for a GO TO AUTHOR for all things ménage romance, Lexi Blake is the author for YOU!

I really loved this book. In fact the whole series is amazing, and I highly recommend it.

The beginning of this book surprised me. We know from the previous book that Callie had been in a threesome and was stuck on those guys, but we did not know how it happened. They have an amazing weekend together, and the guys have to leave to begin a new undercover job for the DEA. Naturally they leave while Callie is sleeping - and leave the lamest note ever!

Flash forward six years, and Nate and Zane are the newest residents of Bliss, Colorado - Callie's hometown. And now Nate is Callie's boss. None of them expected to ever see each other again, and none of them are happy about it - although for very different reasons. Nate does not think they are good enough for her - and the concept of a menage is something he did not think of at first until he realized that there is no way only one of them could be with Callie without destroying the other. Callie is angry because of that awful note they left her while she was leaving which broke her heart. Zane is just angry all around, due to the undercover job going majorly south and leaving him with scars all over his body - including his face. He thinks that he is ugly and unloveable, and both Zane and Nate are tortured with remembering Zachs, well, torture.

I absolutely loved Callie. Yes, she was in love with two very strong-willed men, but she was not afraid to call them out on their actions or speak her mind about their feelings. She is not afraid to tell them she loves them, but that they do not love her - and I totally understood why she would think neither of them loved her enough.

Naturally the bad guys from the men's previous DEA job show up, and everyone is in danger (and if you read my previous spoiler, that explains Zane's deal). And of course, the whole town of Bliss plays a role to save the day! (I want to live there!!!)

I loved the humor in this book as well. The long running joke about the rubber duck running for sheriff got a chuckle everytime. And the way that Nate finally declared his love and that he wanted to stay in Bliss

I would recommend that people read the first book in this series, Three to Ride, before reading this. Not that you will be lost reading this, but the people of Bliss are such a part of each book in this series and you really get to know their personalities. It would definitely be easier to get to know the secondary characters if you read in order. Plus, in each book there is a bit of setup for the next.

If you like quirky towns, and menage-loving in your books, Two to Love is a must read!

This was book 2 in the Nights in Bliss, Colorado" series. Callie Sheppard was born and raised in Bliss along with the twins Rye and Max and Stefan. At the age of 25 she goes to Stefan for help of losing her virginity and making a fantasy come true she wants a menage she once thought she was in love with Rye who was the sheriff and she was his secretary. Stefan introduces her to Nathan Wright a family friend and his best friend Zane Hollister and after spending the weekend with them she is heartbroken when they leave without saying goodbye and leaving a note. Fast forward six years when the new sheriff shows up she gets a surprise its Nate and he is no longer the same man. Nate and Zane who were undercover in a long-term DEA assignment where Zane was almost killed. Zane is broken and scared they have been in Bliss for two weeks and he has yet to see Callie he is afraid to go into town. Turns out some bikers are after Zane and while drinking in a bar he sees Callie and Jen who are out looking to get laid. This was a good read when the bikers attack their cabin the go to the nudist community for safety where Nate realizes that he has been an jerk to the town and its people. Nate was a rich guy with a 10 million dollar trust fund until his father stole all his money and lost it all. He wants to climb the ladder in the DEA. Zane doesn't have anyone but Nate and Callie he only went into the agency because of Nate he will do anything to protect Callie even turn himself over to the bikers that want him dead. This was a really good book the sex scenes were hot although at times I wanted to slap Nate the town of Bliss showed him that they protect their own. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling I am looking forward to reading the next book Stefan and Jen will the Dom get his way.

eh...the begining is...interesting...seriously, getting your best bud, who's like a brother to you, to set you up with a couple of guys to to divest you of your virginity...
huh, yeah, I really can't figure out what else to call it, beyond "interesting".

The rest of the book is hot...really, really hot, but not as good, overall, as the first Nights in Bliss book, IMO.
There's a very little, very light amount of bdsm thrown in, but mostly it's a strictly m/f/m menage story.

Oh and there's a slight mystery involved, but the whodunnit's easy to solve... I really don't feel like we get to know the characters as well, plus it feels shorter then the first book as well....things also got resolved a little to quick for my tastes, though I liked the angsty bits...
There were also a handful of grammatical/continuity errors...Honestly, I'd have been able to ignore them if they hadn't have pulled me outta the story!

so enjoyable, but not a favorite.

And I have to admit, I'm only kinda sorta interested in the next book, Stef and Jen's story, but I may skip it altogether, so we'll see.

Another good one! Her characters are so likeable and fun...even the badasses. She throws in a nice mix of elements to her series...a little threesome...well, okay, a lot of threesome action...a little D/s, a little bondage, a little spanking, a little romance and let's not forget some sort of struggle and a little mystery or suspense. She has a fun and easy writing style and so far, has had a pretty good story to go along with all the smut! I will definitely read her future installments!

Bliss, CO is one of those little Western towns that has become a haven of some very strange and avant garde people. We firsts meet this community in Sophie Oak's first novel in this series, Three to Ride. Callie Shepherd in the admin. assistant to the local sheriff--the new sheriff that turns out to be one of her lovers of six years past--one of the two with whom she spent an erotic weekend and never heard a peep from since. She was not aware that they were DEA undercover operatives and unable to communicate with her until their cover was blown and they left the agency. But the new sheriff is only there as a temporary job--he wants to be back at the DEA and he has so little understanding of the true underlying authenticity of all these "weird" people. A rocky romance, lots of mystery, some good loving, and a few very much-needed Ah Ha moments.

It had been some time since a book made me laugh out loud at the antics of its characters, but this book had it happening!! Amazing book, amazing characters, amazing story line, amazing everything, these Bliss residents blend with the Harper's and set the stage for the all the books that come after

Updated:
I can admit it, this is one of my favourite books of all time. It gives me all the feelings each and every time I read it. I cry at the heartache, the depth of emotion, and the hopelessness our characters feel. I laugh at the antics of the townfolks and our characters. I complete quiver with anticipation when I hit chapter thirteen and I know it is all going to work out, and the best town meeting ever takes place

I love Bliss, and the people who live there, and Callie, Zane, and Nate are the heart, soul, and strength of the town I love so much!

Two to Love is book Two in the Nights in Bliss Colorado Series. This is the story of Callie Sheppard, Nathan Wright and Zane Hollister. This can be a standalone book but the previous characters do intertwine in this book. Callie, Nathan and Zane had a hot weekend but Zane and Nathan went off to start their new career. Now years later they are back and in Callie's town of Bliss.
Good hot second chance at love.

Well, I seem to be in the minority. I didn't think this story was nearly as good as the first one. Yes the quirky characters were back, and their unusual lifestyles, but this story lacked the heat and intensity I expected.

Still a fine story, and Bliss CO is certainly a different setting. I can't decide whether to keep reading this series.

Another great book in the Nights In Bliss, Colorado Series! I adore Zane and Nate. Callie was such a sweetheart! I would of LOVED to have a friend like her. The sex is incredible and there is always something going on, never a dull moment which just delights me to know end. Sophie Oak you sure do know how to write! Can't wait to read the other books in this series and to get caught up.

Nate is a prick. For 80% of the book, he's a prick, I wondered why Stef ever introduced him and not Zane to Callie in the first place, cause Zane's just a huge teddy bear. I liked it in general, but it really wasn't great. The rest of the characters in Bliss really made the book a whole lot better than the actual story, cause 2 of the 3 main characters just annoyed me most of the time.
