Very hot even though I didn't much like the end
This book was delightful and would have gotten a full five stars of the ending hadn't felt rushed and a bit out of sync with the rest of the story. I loved the training that Michael was put through but the whole Luke thing didn't feel real and made most of what Michael experienced up to that point seem a bit pointless. The epilogue sort of saved things for me and I still give the story a solid for stars.

A dark yummy m/m story
Michael, a loser, breaks into a home to steal stuff so he can get high. He is caught by the homeowner and given the choice of becoming a slave or going to prison for breaking and entering. So begins his slave training and he takes to it very well after adjusting to the discipline and humiliation. It is quite a journey. If you like a dark, well written m/m story, this is your book. I sure liked it.

I'm gonna just not do this author anymore. I love the ideas but the execution is usually a failure. I like descriptive sex scenes - with good dialogue. This authors (for me) are always flat and unimaginative. The story is ok - but the smut is meh and nah. So I'll be taking a pass from now on. Too bad.

Glad to finally see a new book from M. Stonehouse! Really enjoyed this one. Lots of hot action and enjoyed the protagonist’s journey.

Lots of twists in this book. You feel a little sympathy for bandit, a little. But then, no he's gifting what he deserves. A good read.
