Harry Potter Fanfiction
When Tom Riddle walked through a doorway one fall afternoon everything changed and he found himself in a world wholly unprepared for him. "Something about you makes my brain itch," Hermione Granger said. "As if an earthquake had shifted everything sharply two feet to the left and then back again and it didn't all fit back quite right." 3.5⭐
This had so much potential and started off great, but didn't quite deliver. The writing was good and the idea was great, but I didn't quite love it. It was my first Tomione fic and while I loved Evil Hermione, Neville, Harry, and Luna, the fic didn't quite hit like I would have wanted it to.

That being said, I enjoyed reading it and may recommend it if you don't mind Evil characters.

A Dark Hermione/Tom HP fic reread. It was a different kind of time travel. Great, smutty, dark plot. The friendships and relationships were amazing.

Really very surprisingly great despite that fact that I would usually avoid fanfics like this. Romance is the main genre so expect a ton of that plus smut.

As to the main plot and world, it started great but the execution was worse with every sequel. There were also some fundamental issues that were never resolved as well: why does no one seem to care that this person travelled through time? & occasionally the author seems to forget that magic and a magical society would have their own spells (etc.) and not do things with 'muggle' expectations.

I would recommend this. The exploration of magic, politics, ambitions, the world, and the death eater cult is never the focus but is always interesting nonetheless.

The ending was rushed and even the epilogue needs an epilogue or two. The author really dropped the ball on part 3. I assume because that part needed everything but the romance to be the focus of the novel.

I tried this one and didn't like it.
I actually read Bodyguard of Lies. I liked it, though there were certain character swerves I would have preferred to avoid.
I didn't like the epilogue. Not because it was dark, but because it made the entire story moot. Nothing changed and we never see Hermione live her life. She remains an object throughout and is then killed off screen. A more interesting conclusion would be Hermione's son choosing to become a death eater, or some other walk of life that is interesting.

Wow, just wow. In so many ways I can't believe I finished this, it is just so dark, but the writing and character building is simply incredible that I couldn't not.
So while I wouldn't necessarily even recommend this to myself or other people who like fluffy stories, I would to anyone who loves a well written, well built, and well plotted story (which is somehow easier to find in the darker side of hp ff).

3.5 This got waaaay darker than I expected, especially after the first third of the book, which lessened my enjoyment and almost had me stop halfway through. But, I found the writing extremely compelling, and the humor, when not too blood drenched, to be delightful.

Colubrina is the best. They have managed to write yet another brilliant, unique fic. I loved that they took the time turner trope and did a full 180 with it. I need more Evil!Hermione in my life. This is probably my favorite tomione fic! I need more like it!

First Tomione fic and I was NOT disappointed!

If this quote doesn't say it all... "He was danger in the most alluring package she’d ever seen, not because he’d hurt her, but because she might be the only person he wouldn’t."

Not sure why this has such a high rating….. I hate when authors change the characters personality. If you’re going to write fanfic about HP, keep the characters consistent with the books/movies.

My perfect entrance into Tomione fanfiction. Be ware because the characters are all morally... not even grey I would say they are morally black, which makes it oh so delicious. Tom is still a sociopathic tyrant, but due to his undying love for Hermione he focuses more on power than blood purity. We have a little side of Drarry and some interesting developments into Neville's sex life lol. Just read it... its perfect.

✨A fan fiction where the characters are flayed of their original personalities and has mean streak for the dark arts
✨Hermione, Harry, Neville, and Luna are amoral characters
✨Draco x Harry
✨Neville as a daddy dom
✨Living for Tom being obsessed with Hermione
