She's my little sister's best friend. She calls me Daddy. She's completely off limits. And she's mine. I had one look after my sister's best friend while she's away at college. If only she knew the half of it. Yeah, I give Fiona a place to stay, somewhere to sleep. My bed. Clothing optional. Bed-shaking nights mandatory. She started it. By teasing me. By calling me Daddy. By telling me what a good girl she'd be for me. I finished it by staking my claim and making her mine. I'm risking hell from my little sister for sneaking around. Having my fill of her best friend night after night. Fiona thinks she's risking her heart. I don't care. She's mine. We're finishing this MY way. We'll find OUR way. Tears. Kisses. Passion. Chaos. Bring it on! ~*~ Daddy's Little Angel ~*~ is a full-length standalone novel filled to the brim with all the good girl sugar and bad boy spice Mia Clark does best! Grey and Fiona are sinfully steamy, oh so perfect together, and with more than enough heat to fire things up.
Eighteen year-old Fiona has been living with her best friend Emily, and Emily’s older brother, Grey, aka Daddy for some time since Fiona’s home-life was less than stellar. Now Emily is off at college while Fiona stays home all day and plays house with daddy. And let me tell you, I wasn’t prepared for how often the word “daddy” was used. (Spoiler alert: it was way way way a lot.)
My favorite part about the book is the scene where Grey and three college guys conspired how to get into the frat party. It was immature, but humorous. My second favorite part was… ok well there isn’t one, so let’s move on.
The problems I had with this book, let me count the ways. When the book starts, Fiona and Grey have already been sleeping together for an unspecified period of time, so there’s no chance to really feel the intensity of their initial attraction. That’s Strike #1. Strike #2: Have I mentioned how often Fiona calls Grey “daddy”? It’s not just in the bedroom, it’s everywhere. She’s so exclusive in calling him daddy that people ACTUALLY believe she’s his daughter, even though he’s only 30 and she 18. But the icing on the cake is that Emily calls Grey “daddy”, too. Granted, he’s raised her since their parents died (no clue how long ago since the timeline in this story is as clear as mud), but it’s still weird. Strike #3: I hated the heroine. She’s an 8 year-old in a horny 18 year-old body. She seems to have no ambitions, happy just staying home watching tv and doing yoga while Grey works and supports her. She sticks her tongue out more than three times in one scene and that’s not counting the rest of the book. Note: The acceptable amount of times for anyone over 12 to stick their tongue out is maximum once a year. If that’s not a law somewhere, it should be.
Strike #4 piggy-backs off of Strike #3: Fiona’s so juvenile and immature that Grey’s attraction to her was borderline creepy. No, wait. Full creepy. It was fully, 100% creepy.
Strike #... what frickin’ number am I on again? 5. Strike #5: There is so much unnecessary internal dialogue. Example: Character #1 would ask #2 a question, then #2 would go off on a 2 page-long mental tangent about something hardly relating to the initial question and forget what they were talking about until #1 prompted them. Repeat x100000. Final strike: Excessive use of exclamation points.
Supporting quotes of internal dialogue:
I’m sorry, Daddy! I’m so, so sorry I have an amazing butt right now!
I don’t want him worrying and… and I’m not going to put up with anyone’s stuff! Be strong and fierce, Fiona! Rawr!
This is a full-length story that uses about 85% to cover the day of the frat party. It’s too long for such little plot. Plus, it just ends. No resolution, so it looks like there’ll be another book which is completely unnecessary. If there’d been less filler and more substance, it could’ve been wrapped up nicely. But if you’re in the mood to read a 15 year-old’s diary, have at it. Because that’s what you’ll get.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
***************************************************************** This is me every time I wanted to DNF:
I was unexpectedly sucked into this book from the first scene. I had no idea this was the second book with our main characters, Fiona and Grey. But I think I basically skipped over the angst and relationship building, and I think I'm okay with that!
Grey and Fiona are incredibly sweet and in love with each other. He's 30 and she's 18 but the craziness the hero goes through to protect his babygirl is so over the top, silly and hilarious that you wouldn't even be able to tell that there's a huge age gap.
Grey raised his little sister, our heroine's best friend, since he was old enough to care for another person. As a result, he didn't really have a wild college experience and probably didn't get to sleep around like all other business-running, alpha heroes (I hope). He's so incredibly sweet, caring, loving and just perfect with Fiona. His chapters are so freaking funny and you can tell he's just so done for this girl. Le sigh
Fiona is a sweet girl (everything about this book is sweet!), smart, kind and the perfect match for Grey. I love the ridiculous situations she gets into and how Grey is always there for her.
Holy Moly, steamy goodness! Fiona and Grey have this great chemistry. That chemistry turned into this great big ball of attraction that neither can fight. On top of that attraction, throw in some dd/lg and kink for the makings of a fabulous read. Fiona and Grey make this an enjoyable, exciting read full of sizzle and heat. I look forward to reading more by Mia Clark.
My Rating: 4.6 stars ***** “I received an advanced copy of this book from the author at no cost to me."
Clark goes for the taboo. The sex appeal is beyond hot, but borders on disturbing. Fiona and Gray dare to find happiness in a situation that is strange at best.
I read this book as part of an arc program. I loved this book, I laughed and thought Grey had his inner caveman overrule him many times. Grey was living with his little sister's Emily's best friend because of her home situation and he wanted to help her. Fiona and Grey were also dating, but hid their relationship from Emily. Fiona and Grey were in love even though Grey was 12 years older. Grey raised Emily since she was little when their parents died and she calls him Daddy because of it. Fiona also calls Grey Daddy, but for other reasons. When visiting Emily where she is in college, Emily and Fiona go to a frat party and Grey finds out it is not as innocent as he was led to believe. This causes Grey to go and try to rescue the girls. This book was funny and I loved it. I laughed at the antics of Grey and his group of misfits he recruited in getting the girls. This was the first book I read by Mia and I will be looking for more. Great one.
Read ing Grey and Fiona story I did nothing but laugh at this crazy pair😂! The best part was party that's all I will say can't wait for more of this series! Mia your books are a blast and I love the love in them.
This book was entertaining and titillating. A bit too much usage of the word “daddy” and the 18-year-olds are a bit too juvenile ( overuse of the word “yay”-actually any use of the word “yay”!) but very entertaining!
This was an okay read for me. The story is fun and entertaining, although a bit quick. Grey and Fiona have steamy chemistry and the story held my interest. I admit Fiona was a bit annoying.
Grey is Emily's big brother and he raised her like dad after both of their parents died when Emily was young so she calls him daddy. Her best friend Fiona came to live with them because of her living sit and she heard Emily calling Grey daddy and wanted to call him daddy too. However, when she calls him daddy it unleashed something inside of her sexually. She started dressing provocatively to turn him on. Eventually, he succumbed to her flaunting and teasing and they had sex and she would call him daddy during intercourse and that just did something Grey. It made their sex more erotic, s explosive and steamy. Daddy was very possessive of Fiona and she was very jealous over him. Although this was a forbidden best friend/ brother, older guy younger girl relationship they both loved each other very. Daddy wanted the best for his baby girl. Their relationship was a secret because they was worried about how Emily would react to the news of them dating. This book was so it burned up my kindle. It's like when two young people in a car and they up to look mountain or the lake side, and all their car windows gets fog up that they need turn on the window defroster on before they can drive that is how steamy this book is. The two navigate their relationship while trying to not be discovered at expensive hotel, in foamy jacuzzi, at a frat party among other places. Find out if Emily discovered their secret. I highly recommend this book. I read book last year on kindle unlimited and I received another free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a very hot read with an older man/younger woman who have a Daddy/little girl dynamic with some kink mixed in. She is his younger sister’s best friend and they have so far kept their relationship secret from her. They are very much in love with each other and building their relationship. He has insecurities about their age difference and some fear that she might at some point decide he’s too old for her with a 12 year age difference. They both want to tell his sister, they’re just not sure how to or how she’ll take it and don’t want to upset her. His sister calls wanting her friend to go to a college frat party with her and things got interesting then especially at the party. I really liked this book overall and look forward to more in the future though it is a standalone. Fiona is a mix of maturity and still maturing but definitely knows what she wants. Grey is still young but older than Fiona and his sister Emily by 12 years and raised Emily after their parents were tragically killed. Emily has just started college and like Fiona has some maturing to do yet, a little more than Fiona actually. ~ARC via Hidden Gems. This is my honest, voluntary review.~
Grey was supposed to look out for his sister's best friend while she was away at college. It should've been an easy thing to do but he was drawn to Fiona. Fiona has always wanted Grey and now that her friend was gone it was hard to fight temptation. When Grey's sister invites Fiona to a college party Grey is against it at first but his baby girl (Fiona) promises to be a good girl little do either of them know that it is a different kind of party than his sister lead them to believe. When Grey learns what kind of party it is he rushes to get to the girls. He has to get some college guys to help him get in and has one of the promise to help his sister while he claims his woman.
This is a steamy hot book once you start it you won't be able to put it down. The chemistry between Grey and Fiona is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to anyone that loves a steamy story.

In this book we meet Fiona and Grey. Grey is only trying to do his little sister a favor when he allows Fiona to stay with him. Fiona and Grey have had a strange relationship for years. Now Grey took over guardianship of his sister when their parents were killed years ago so she came to call him Daddy. Fiona never knowing her own father and spending so much time at Emily and Grey's house started calling him that herself but they way she means it gives it a whole new spin. Can they find a way to get a HEA or will the stress of keeping the secret from Emily and trying to figure it out themselves lead them down a path they never knew?
This is an amazing book. It has it's ups and downs that I really want to tell you about. I however don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say that it will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. Make sure you have a cool drink nearby or someone to help with the heat. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Ok this was a cute and kinda girly story. I’m not sure what the story had to really do with all the others but it just seemed to be a older man loving a kid. I mean Fiona was 18yrs old and Grey is 30yrs old and they have a lot of fun having sex and keeping their relationship a secret from his little sister in Emily. But that’s was the bulk of the story. Keeping everything away from Emily. Then after all that I still don’t know if they told her they are together. I mean Emily thought they could be together and she mentioned it several times to Fiona.
But it never came to fruit. 🙄 I did enjoy the frat party and how Grey got Porter, Wyatt, and Holden, and Holly the hotel desk clerk to help them get into the Frat house and the auction part, but after that it should have went on to what else should have happened. I mean it would have been nice for the ending to be with them Telling Emily and Emily getting excited about her best friend being her sister after all.
But it was a ok story and I usually love all her stories this one jut left me wanting more. 🤷🏻♀️
I liked this story. There were plenty of feels. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable even when you wanted to smack some of them upside the head (oh wait, that happens!). Daddy is a very popular word in this story so if you have issues with the daddy thing, this book will annoy you. This is a standalone (?) but is better if read after Daddy Issues. In this story, you can feel a connection (not just physical) between Grey and Fiona. I really liked how far Grey was willing to go to keep Emily and Fiona safe. The ending is ok, still not a happy ever after and it's abrupt. Hopefully Grey and Fiona will tell Emily about their relationship in the next book (?) because being together for months and hiding it from her isn't going to make her a happy camper. I recommend reading this book, at least give it a chance.

I have to say that this second book just puts these two characters over the top. Older BFFs Brother Grey is a really good guy. Raised his sister that was 12 years younger than him after his parents died. Also had her BFF always there since her mom wasn't really that great to her. Grey and Fiona are a very different couple. Fiona is 18 while Grey is 30. Teases him to get his attention then makes a move. They try to not fall into the path that they have both started heading towards. Fiona acts a little bit immature but I guess that is to be expected since she is 18. Grey learns he can't live without Fiona and vice versa. Valentine's Day is a great night in the end. I hope there is a book three to these two since it's been left on a huge cliffhanger. Will Grey and Fiona tell Emily they are dating? Will Emily accept them?

This is a goofy, crazy, XXX fantasy of Fiona, an eighteen year old ditzy young woman living with Grey, her best friend's older brother. I know the Author didn't want to make Fiona seem stupid, but that's the way it comes across. The book's dialogue between characters reads like a really bad rom-com. Not really funny, just silly........people can't really be this stupid, can they? That's why I'm saying it's a fantasy book, Not even remotely like real life. Read it for what it is, a goofy diversion. Kind of nauseating. Very Juvenile. I'm assuming the book is supposed to be a farce.
ARC Provided to me by HG for a Voluntary and Honest Review. I also got the book with KU.
There are several other books included. Maybe these will be better reading. My review is for the title book only.
This is a short story that reads like a sexcapade; something from Letters to Penthouse. It is a silly, smutty, illogical read. I would put it in the sex fantasy fiction, over the top, adult fairy tale category.
The "strong, smart, independent" college "naive" student heroine come across as a dim witted scatterbrained girl and the 30 year old hero acts and talk as an inexperienced 17 year old.
" I thought that business hotels meant that you could only stay there if you were there for business, but the first time I told Daddy that and when I asked him if it was alright for me to be there---because I definitely wasn't doing any business--he gave me a funny look and laughed. "That's just what they call them", he told me. "No clue why."
I received an ARC of Daddy's Little Angel in exchange of my honest review.
What can I say? This book was the worst. I have never read a book where both the h and the H were dumb. I can almost forgive Fiona bc she was only 18. Young and dumb. Hasn’t had a chance to experience the world. Her friend Emily was equally dumb, but same excuse...young and dumb. Grey was 30 years old. I expected more. He owned a company and had no idea what a cash app was. Seriously? Every sentence they said to each other ended in a question mark, even if it wasn’t a question. I wish I had counted the number of times the 3 main characters said “umm?”. It took me 3 days to struggle through this one day read. I hate to start a book and not finish it bc I always think I may have missed the best part. THEN the author had the audacity to end on a cliffhanger. Get the next book to find out how and when Emily finds out about their relationship. No thank you.
Solid 3 1/2 star read!! This is a little girl and daddy type story. If you do not enjoy those types of stories you will not want to read this. Grey is Fiona's "daddy", they have lots of hot sex and Fiona enjoys "daddy" making all the decisions. That doesn't mean that she doesn't like to push "daddies" buttons to see what punishments he'll find fitting. Emily, Grey's sister, and Fiona are off to attend their first frat party. Upon arrival, they are told to go through a special door. They so learn what's behind the special door. Will Grey be able to come to their rescue before anything happens to them? You will need to read to find out what happens. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Oh boy, now we are getting to the good stuff with Fiona and Daddy(Grey). Emily is heading to college, FiFi is being warned by her mom to not come home due to her sleazy boyfriend that can't not look at Fi. Creepy. But all the better to tease Daddy. Losing her v-card was way too easy and Fiona seems to fall into situations that could get her busted. I like how their relationship develop and although Grey tries to avoid he cashes in and goes for it. He loves her and says so. His possessive male tendencies are cute. Emily hints at a relationship between Fi and Grey so they should tell her - stop denying it. It will be worse... Mia S, you are till leaving me hanging... I need more Grey and Fiona. Onto the afterstory.
erm well its not good or bad This is the second book in the Daddy's Little Angel series. Fiona and Grey continue their relationship without Grey's little sister and Fiona's best friend Emily finding out. They have a kink of a relationship as Fiona calls Grey Daddy. Its a weird relationship and I do think the word Daddy was used a bit to much. Their relationship is strong and they seem to be stronger together but can they make it??? I do like the relationship they have I just wish their was more to their story. The passion and chemistry they have is addictive and I wonder what is In store for them in the next book

I love it when she calls me Daddy....she has no idea how much it turns me on but she will. Fiona shouldn’t have started something she couldn’t finish. I gave her a place to stay a bed to sleep in and boy she will find out how daddy is going to teach her and make her mine. It started off as teasing by calling him daddy but soon the teasing started to turn to reality and I was loving it but can I risk my heart? Phenomenal story! Characters that you can feel in your heart. A storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat and glued to your kindle! For me it was a love-hate teasing deal as the main characters face reality. A must read. Grab your copy today and start reading. Enjoy happy reading 📚 "I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book."
I loved the author's Stepbrother With Benefits series and this is written in the same engaging style, kind of innocent and dirty all at the same time. I haven't read the first book of Grey and Fiona's story but that did not lessen my enjoyment of this one. This steamy romance between an eighteen year old girl and a thirty year old man is a fun, sexy read from the very first scene. This couple is combustible! Just to be clear, Fiona might be young but she is a completely willing participant in this relationship which is clearly loving as well as hot as heck. I loved it! 4.5 stars.

I voluntarily received an advanced copy of this book. It's interesting. I like Grey. Fiona is a brat but Grey loves her. Now his sister on the other hand may not be as thrilled to find out that he's in love with her bestfriend. But who knows how Emily will feel. We won't know until the next book.
Fiona goes to her first frat party that Emily begs Grey to let them attend. Grey lets them go but when he sees their dresses on snapchat he is livid. He's determined to get into that party abd with a little help he just might. Read the book to see how this all plays out.
Likeable characters that are well described. I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. That makes the story even more emotional and captivating. The twists and turns are unexpected.
Characters develop nicely through the story. Great chemistry and passion. A story about opening up and learning to accept what fate throws at you. Taking other people into your heart and show your feelings. Age issues, trust, love, father issues, romance and twists makes this story an enjoyable read.
Sometimes it was a bit confusing because of the issues and lack of depth in the story but it is an enjoyable read.
I liked Daddy’s Little Angel, but the whole baby talk “daddy’s good girl” thing got a little old and definitely weird if you look back at how Fiona actually started calling Grey “Daddy”...in high school. But the story was cute.I actually enjoyed the first book, “Daddy Issues” more. My favorite story was the bonus “Stepbrother With Benefits” series though. Much better written and much more enjoyable. Better characters and much more believable. And not near as annoying.
If you've read Mia Clark's Stepbrother with Benefits then you know how her wicked mind works. Daddy's Little Angel is another taboo-type story that lets you in to the inner works of the characters. This book starts off already in action but it's easy to follow along. There is a prequel called Daddy Issues if you want to know how Grey and Fiona got tangled up together but it's not required. This is a fun read if you're looking for a little steamy entertainment but it does end in HFN. I received an advance reader copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.
