The Reckoning - I was intrigued about the return of magic and all that happened because of that Christmas Eve event. I was eager to know more right from the start. As things went on, I was completely hooked on the story and characters. The ending was shocking and definitely had me wanting to read more. This was an incredibly intense start to the anthology.

The Orphans - Jim Ody always makes a fabulous addition to any anthology, and this story was no different. It started out gaining my interest and making me want to find out more about these characters. The way it went through each one and what they had been through was the perfect way to piece the story together. When the ending came fast and hard, and there was that one moment of doubt, I found it to be incredibly brilliant. It was the ultimate show of unity.

The Madness - This story had a unique spin on the beginning of the end. I liked the flow of the story and was so curious about what would happen next. The ending was surprising to me, and yet made me smile with thoughts of what could come next for Sammi and all the people she was willing to help.

Midwest Hell: Surviving the Apocalypse - This story was intoxicating right from the start and sucked me right into the new world as Anna and Emmalee were discovering it. It was frightening and frustrating and I couldn't read fast enough to satisfy my curiosity. As events moved along, it was hard not to begin to feel hopeless and downtrodden. And the ending was both shocking and heartbreaking. This was an incredible story that definitely showed the worst case scenario to perfection.

Undeath Becomes Her - Macy was quite the character and it was entertaining getting to know her and her obsession with the undead. This was definitely a Zombie story with a spin unlike anything I had ever read before.
The realizations that Michael made throughout the story were quite heartwarming. I enjoyed the flow of this story and the way that things came to a close. It was a fun little story, but with an underlying message that everyone can take to heart.

Well what can I say but The End? really isn't the end. These authors got together and made a book that is strange, unique and at times funny. Each author with their own style tells you a story of what they think the end is like. Some of the stories are like walking into the Twilight Zone but on paper/ebook. Anthologies are my thing and these authors hit it out of the park with this one. It's well worth the read.

This Anthology was quite the surprise, as I have read most of the Authors already but each of their stories in this book were unique and different. Each story flowed right through to the end??
