I was really excited when I noticed this book at the library, but I think it had so much more potential than what it actually was. The bibliography was only 4 sources, one being a doc and one being a website, and it seemed like most of her info was from 2 or 3 tattoo parlours (which she dedicated like 15-20 pages to giving them shout-outs). It definitely had some interesting info, but it was shallow and bounced around a bit too much.
Pretty well organized, good information. However, it had a bit of an amateur feel, and I can't say I feel super well informed after reading it. I was also surprised by how much they talked about Lal Hardy, obviously an important firgure in tattooing, but still, more interviews with people outside of just the UK would have been nice.
