It's now 4/3/24 and I'm literally laughing out loud at my thoughts - I didn't even write the VERY ending cuz it did NOT make up for that shit he put her through and made her lose. Stupid boat wedding you stupid fucking fuck.

I'm still - STILL - big mad about all that shit he put her through. He KNEW his maids - WHO LOOKED DOWN ON FL- drugged her with an aphrodisiac. And then he's all "you can only be my honored concubine" and ok he had a legit reason - so WHY COULDN'T/DIDN'T HE FUCKING TELL HER. But then it gets worse cuz NO HE DIDN'T cuz he never fucking wanted to be the head of family ANYWAY so if he had just STALLED a bit he could've just straight up married her. So WHY DIDN'T YOU FUCKING GODDAMN TELL HER ALL THIS YOU STUPID SHITHEAD FUCKING FUCK. FUCKING ASSHOLE FUCKHEAD.
He always always always ALWAYS took FL for granted. Highkey I wondered if she had a big hole in her head like I could NOT see what she liked about him - just that empty face? Sure he's all "outstanding" and shit but did she need him to live? Uh, duh, no.
He only BARELY regretted it at the end but then stabbing himself made his servants all mad at her FOR HIS OWN STUPID GODDAMN ACTIONS. Not to mention he stabbed himself because SHE got stabbed in the chest and NEARLY DIED all because of HIS STUPID FUCKING FAILED MACHINATIONS. Stupid fucking fuckhead.

... I'm lowkey mad I read this book. I'm STILL mad Sun Yan wasn't the ML. Felt like author was like "oh oops" and then just wrote him as being "she's my sister!" cuz she didn't want him to be an option vs WH.
I'm also big BIG mad FL never got to try at least a single pretty boy. Hated how she was just "oh WH said only him so sure." WTF.
