Eden is a high-end escort who never has sex off the job. But that changes when he meets Greer, his scrappy, tatted-up new driver whose harsh exterior hides a tender heart. Greer's naked honesty and instant, obvious crush on Eden spur Eden to have a little fun playing with him, but quicker than either of them expected, that play turns into something real.
One-sided sexual encounters are no big deal to Eden. But Greer demands more: he wants to bring Eden true pleasure. For Eden, who has only been attracted to one man he never got to touch, this feels impossible. He's trained himself to get hard during appointments, but what if he can't with Greer?
Greer, who isn't out as bisexual to his friends, is used to one-night stands via hookup apps. But Eden is something special. Greer is willing to do whatever it takes for the chance to get Eden off—and make him happy.
This was such a delightful read! Perfect pace, perfectly balanced sexual content- AND IT WAS SWEET AS HELL, Y'ALL! This is the kind of story I'm always and forever in the mood for: I like all things fluffy, give me all the fluffy things! Seriously, I kept smiling like an idiot all the time.
I really, really appreciated Eden and Greer's relationship: the evolution was deeply satisfying (which is a specially difficult task, given the story was so short), their chemistry was amazing, and both characters were so damn sweet individually, that it was no surprise they'd be *delightful* together.
This was the perfect story for my mood, for my heart- it was so right in so many levels, it really catered to all my needs.
It was a sweet, insta-lovey and rather fluffy short about Eden, a gay escort, and Greer, Eden's new driver.
It was full of kink: panties, high heels, ball gags and such but, on the other hand, Eden's attitude towards whoring and his clients: was a bit contradictive and he seemed totally ill-fitting for his job.
The story mentions the issue of being demisexual and shows us how the MC copes with it, and that's what I really appreciated - IMO, it's rarely shown and rather unknown to wider public.
Eden is a demisexual sex worker and Greer is his new driver Andy bodyguard. Greer is instantly attracted to Eden is is turned on even more when he sees him dressed up in women's lingerie for a client. They become fast friends and Eden is shocked when he feels attraction for the other man, so he decides to take a chance on him. The sex is both hot and sweet.
I didn't mind it, but Eden has on page sex with one of his johns. It shows a good contrast between a loving sexual encounter with Greer, and his job.
Eden has some issues, and Greer is just plain gone on the gorgeous escort he's driving around. I loved watching these boys navigate the unsteady terrain of each other. Most importantly, I liked the lesson: love people for who they are and don't try to change them.
Damn that was one sweet hot short read. Everything was right. Loved it all. Great way of writing. Read the blurb and you know the story. Absolutely worth reading
"You’re dreaming." Eden put the cap on his lipstick and dropped it into his bag. "I know what you’re thinking, and let me assure you—you can’t afford me."
So began the tumultuous relationship between the escort and the driver.
Escorting the Escort is a highly charged erotic tale of a driver falling for his charge. The fact that Eden was an escort, a highly paid one had no baring on Greer. He wanted the man and intended to have him.
Eden had never met someone like Greer. He found himself feeling things he never felt before. Soon the two were experiencing more than pleasure and navigating an affair despite Eden's job.
I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author.
I honestly did not expect to like this as much as I did. I’m always very leery of books with sex workers, as far to often it ends up shaming sex work and going on about how dirty they are.
This was a story with a sex worker, who (for the most part) enjoyed their job, with good ace and bi rep, and a love interest who was supportive of their partner’s choice of work.
I’m a bit bummed this wasn’t longer, and the epilogue, like most epilogues, was “meh” for me, and I think it left off better without it.
3.5 stars. This book about an effeminate and cross dressing rentboy and his new driver/protector was okay, but just that for me. It was nice that the new driver, himself afraid to admit to anybody that he might be gay, grew to respect and care for the escort for who he was, not what he did or how he looked, but the emotional pull I think I should have felt for the escort and his problems just wasn't there for me. And, to top it off

The story was a delightful and satisfying read. I really liked the relationship between the escort Eden and his driver Greer and how it develops. Individually and together they are so adorable. Especially Greer. They have great chemistry and really made me smile through out the entire story.
I knew going into this that it was a short, but I found Eden to be so fascinating, that I wish it were longer so as to learn more about him and his past. Both characters are fascinating and would make for great characters if there was more to their stories. With all that said, this little snippet of their lives intersecting and their romance was well done.
Short, hot, and most of all, sweet! The story doesn't romanticize sex work, and more importantly, the love interest isn't there to save the sex worker. It had good demi rep, too!
Escorting the Escort is a short story about Eden, a high-end escort, and Greer, Eden’s new driver. It’s told in third person from both Greer and Eden’s povs.
3.5 Stars
The blurb does a good job of telling what the plot is about so I won’t go into it. I feel conflicted about this book. First because the author wrote great characterizations of Greer and Eden, but at the same time there’s a conflict that Eden gets upset about and it’s not well written. It took me almost the whole story to figure out why Eden would get mad at Greer because of something he thought Greer was going to demand. It sounds as if Eden doesn’t get off with men unless he has an emotional attachment to them and he’s afraid Greer will demand Eden get off, when Greer is all about, ‘Whatever you want, Eden, I’m good.’ But the way it was written in the story is vague and it’s like Eden doesn’t even know that’s what he wants, the emotional connection and just snuggling but he considers it a flaw in himself. I didn’t like how poorly it was explained or revealed in the story, it was awkwardly written.
The author did a good job of creating unique characters. It was clear that Greer was gruff but he was gentle inside and that Eden brought out Greer’s submissive side. Greer had thoughts that Eden was actually mean. I’m not sure Eden was actually mean all the time, so much as angry because he was an escort and wasn’t always treated well and that’s not what he really wanted to be doing. Eden knew how to manipulate Greer and Greer would go along with it. I’d say more that Eden was a Dominant and Greer’s admission of the things he liked that Eden did, drew more of the Dom side out of Eden. And Eden’s thoughts while he Dominated Greer turned Eden on. I could see the two of them slipping into a Dom/sub relationship.
Great characters with distinct personalities, but the conflict Eden had with Greer wasn’t well written, it was confusing. Even as I think back on the conflict, how it was written was annoying. That’s why I can only give Escorting the Escort, 3 Stars.
I liked how sweet and erotic this book is. I read a lot of short fiction and while I enjoy a full-length novel, I really adore short fiction. Everything was great and I loved Greer and Eden. They complimented each other well and it makes me feel bubbly and loved up.
It moved fast, as shorter stories tended to do, and it dragged me away from being fully immersed at times. Not a big issue, but I like my sweet reads to be a bit slow, sweet, and hot.
Also, the two of them fit together so well that there were some moments that I felt it was too good to be true. This is why I rated this book like so - 4.2 stars. I see so much potential for this book that I know Greer and Eden's story will be better told in a novel. If this was 20k words longer, then I know I'd have been completely satisfied.
Much love for this one. Read this if you love beautiful men and sweet tatted cuties. You'll adore Greer as much as Eden does, trust me.
Eden is an escort for gay men. A highly paid one at that. He doesn't feel sexual attraction and has trained himself to get hard of his clients. He has a new driver now and Greer is a closeted bi-sexual man. He hasn't even told his childhood best friend. When Greer sees how beautiful Eden is and how he looks in his women's clothes and makeup, he falls hard...in more ways than one. Eden thinks that Greer can't possibly protect him from his clients as he is small and skinny. He is ready to call and find out how he got stuck with Greer, but seeing Greer's attraction for him, hes decides to torment him. Soon the attraction goes both ways. As Eden works through the minefield that is his clients, Greer keeps an eye out for any abuse and non payments. An Excellent story that I would recommend to anyone to read. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC book.
This story was definitely different from the norm. I'd love to learn more about Eden's history and how he got into escorting in the first place. I would imagine that it had to have been difficult for him in the beginning, being demisexual, and not finding any kind of intimacy with johns.
I also liked that Greer accepted Eden for who he was. He might not like the requirements of Eden's job, but he didn't pressure Eden to quit. Greer clearly wants whatever's best for Eden, and is willing to do whatever he needs to do in order to ensure it. He recognized that sex and intimacy aren't the same thing, and that what Eden needed from him is that foundational knowledge that Greer knows Eden, accepts him, and loves him.
This book is not what I would usually read but I am glad I did read it. This story is a Happily For Now (HFN) it deals with an escort named Eden not his real name obviously, and his driver named Greer. I thought Eden was an asshole to Greer in the beginning just by his first impression of him. Greer was really sweet, I got a good laugh at some of the stuff he did when he was turned on. Don't worry I won't spoil it. I felt like I was cheated out of one last scene at the end but understand why the story stopped where it did. Can't wait to see what this author does next in her books.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance readers copy of this book. This was a sweet, enticing read centered around an escort (Eden/Uriah), and his driver, Greer. It took them a while to warm up to each other, but once they did, it was hot. I enjoyed Eden's character since he was straight forward about what he thought, and both of them were honest with each other, which was refreshing. As they journey through the dynamics of their relationship, we also meet a few of Eden's clients. There was only one that was tolerable, but most of the others (some we don't visit in the story) are total evil, jerks. However, it was well executed, and did great at keeping me pulled into the story. :)
Greer and Eden are absolutely perfect for each other. It's lovely to see how gentle Greer always was to Eden as well as how he saw Eden aside form Eden not seeing anything beautiful about himself.
I especially love that Greer simply accepts who Eden is and what he does. Sure, it may bother him with certain clients but overall, Eden is Eden and that is a job and this is personal. I'm so glad that it's, for Greer, as simple as that. That it didn't become this huge issue or argument.
I'm really hoping there is a second book sometime in the future about this two. Loved it!
This is surprisingly honest and emotional for how few pages it takes up. Even though it's only 80-some pages, and not much time passes in the story either, the progress of their relationship is believable. And we still manage to get plenty of sex scenes, both between Eden and his clients, and Eden and Greer. Not to build expectations up too much—this is a short novella about exactly what's on the tin, an escort and his driver. I like that this story didn't try to completely reinvent the trope, but it also didn't fall into the usual pitfalls as easy sources of drama. So nice to see reasonable bisexual and demisexual rep, too.
Eden is an Escort and has just got a new driver called Greer. First impressions are not great with him thinking how can a scrawny guy protect him!
When Greer sees Eden in ladies underwear he wishes that he was Edens next appointment. Eden also starts having feeling for the first time for the other man!
Eden decides to test Greer to see what reaction he gets. The sex is hot, hot, hot but also sweet, something Eden is not used to.
This is a HFN (happy for now) and I look forward to see what Lyssa does with these characters.
I debated between 3 and 4 stars but in the end I gave the extra star because of the interesting storyline. I loved that Greer didn't try to change Eden and that he accepted his profession. I think Greer was perfect for Eden and the story of Eden's sexual awareness was well written. Eden comes off as very fragile yet strong at the same time. While Greer doesn't seem very strong in the role of protector but he clearly is when it comes to Eden. The relationship developed very quickly. The story isn't long and a nice quick read.
It is even harder when the job has benefits that make you hard. Trying to remain professional when your body wants to get personal has been a problem for most people sometime in their lives. To have mutual appreciation for each other can be life changing, but can also be destructive. Understanding the consequences and overcoming the fear can make you a hero if you can deal with where the other person exists without forcing change immediately. This book is good at applying life's lessons.
A short and quick sweet story. Eden/Uriah is a male escort who works for an agency and Greer is his driver/bodyguard for Eden's appointments. As Greer is falling for Eden, Eden finds himself having feelings for Greer he thought he would never have for anyone. It is a sweet story of their developing relationship despite Eden's career. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
this was a totally different story for me and i really enjoyed it... it was weird at first.. i wasnt sure if i liked eden especially toward greere but then it started making more sense.. the two together are a lot of fun.. it was interesting and i enjoyed it a lot.. this was an amazing read and im glad i got to review it
This little short was so, so sweet. I loved these guys and wish I didn't have to give them up just yet. While most of the shorts I love have me wanting more Escorting the Escort falls into that category of just the right amount of everything. More would be nice but not needed. Kudos to the author!
Sometimes, you read to expand your horizons and get out of your comfort zone.
This turned out to be a nice read. Rough. Short. Not my style but every book gives you something and reading only things that grip you and make you beg is both impossible and senseless.
I liked this novella a LOT more than I thought I would. Nothing against anyone, I’m just very vanilla I guess in terms of the romance books I like to read. Eden and Greer make an unlikely pair, and even though the book is short, it’s honestly well written enough that you get to know them. I would definitely read something else with them in it.
