There was a great review but it has been lost between Amazon and here. I don't want to write it again. But this book is excellent. The ending was not what I expected and I wanted more. It ended abruptly with no surprises. I expected some kind if twist or betrayal but nothing. I couldn't put this book down either. I'm off to read the second book. Not much of a review I know but my Brain has no more creativity it was a beautiful review. I hate when this happens. Lol.

Jordan Quest is a psychic but did not see what was happening until too late to save her family. Her parents and husband are killed in a private plane crash. The contract was to kill them all so she and her two children are still not safe. there are two contract killers after them. The FBI is working to keep them safe but every move they make one or both of the killers are right behind them.
At the same time the head of the FBI has had his two daughters kidnapped. Jordan is trying to help him as well as her own family. It is a race against time.

Action packed suspense ride

This book was a great combination of psychic skills leading to answers, fbi tactics paving the way to solutions and crazy assassins hellbent on killing the main character and her family. Can’t wait for the next.

This story begins with Jordan at a conference where she has just spoken to a group of law enforcement personnel. She has provided an answer to a chief of police regarding a missing girl. She tells him that she has been killed and provides a description of the killer. After finishing her talk, she receives a request by the FBI. She then begins signing her books when an individual comes up to her and she gets a bad vibe. She leaves the location and is on her way to join her family for a vacation. While traveling to the airport, she sees a vision that disturbs her while touching a pen that the gentleman had.

After getting to the airport and s she begins the trip, an incident occurs which will change her life. During the time after the incident she has many attempts made upon her life. She is able to provide information in relationship to their request while she regains her strength.

While returning to her parents estate, she runs into the individual responsible for the killing she mentioned to the police chief.

To discover what incident occurred that changed her life, what information the FBI requested and why the killer was looking for her, then you must read this book. You won't be disappointed.

Upon getting my copy of this book, I noticed that it was the first in a series. I was a bit taken aback, as I have not read an entire series in a long time, but I journeyed onward in hopes of an adventure I would feel compelled to continue. I was met with a story that adequately fulfilled my appetite for horror, true crime, and mystery novels all in one. The fast-paced plot kept me reading in spite of its mildly uninteresting writing style and lack of lexicon. The entire package is, overall, pleasing, and if I have time I might read the entire series (that is, if Brown can maintain an even slightly realistic and interesting story arc for the rest of the books). Despite the occasional corny choice,-seriously, who unironically names their character 'Jordan Quest'- Intruders was an entertaining, action-packed read that is great for fans of true crime, action movies, and psychological thrillers.

Good story. Very violent

I read mystery thrillers every day and this one had great potential. The story was very good and the characters are great but there was so much unnecessary violence that it detracts from enjoying the story. Look, most thrillers have serial killers and monsters killing each other, but the majority of the story is about the pursuit of the killer and the person or team pursuing them. It’s the plot and twists along the way that really makes the story interesting. This one has a good story and one I might consider following as this is the first of the series. My hesitation is that most of this book is filled with extreme violence that doesn’t add to the plot. I really like Jordan and the others and I see potential for a good series, I just don’t know about skimming pages to avoid the violence to get to the point.

An action packed sequel to Jordan Quest. I was asked to review this by the author! Below is a preview of the first paragraph of my review on my blog:

We start this novel where we left the previous, Jordan Quest is a success. We start this tale in auditorium where, during a question and answer session with the American Association of Police Chiefs, she proves her capabilities to all those who have attended, even the skeptics.

Go to http://bookworminglife.com/jordan-que... for my full review.

But 5 star book, 10/10 highly recommended. Couldn’t put it down!

Intricate but easy to read

Wow! I give a lot of four star ratings to excellent books. It takes something far out of the ordinary to rate a five from me these days.
The characters, plotting and complexity of this series, so far, have been superlative.
Despite my frustration that a book so well written would contain some really egregious grammar, word choice and plural formations, I still give it my highest rating and am anxious to begin the sequel.

At first, this book is confusing. People are being threatened, kidnapped, or under threat of assassination. Somehow, all of these events are related but it doesn't seem to be possible at the start. Jordan Quest is a psychic and author who uses her talents to help police but the messages she is getting here are not enough to save her family. It is worth the wait to hang in there until the end to see why all of this happened and who is responsible for so much death and destruction.

Suspense and Action Galore!

Spellbinding suspense and on the edge of your seat action, “Intruders” will keep you captivated from the first to the last page. Don’t read this before bedtime, as you will not want to put it down. Jordan Quest is the strong protagonist that we all wish we could be, and the secondary characters, and the side story added much to this book, as well. This is the first novel I’ve read by Gary Winston Brown, but it won’t be the last!

Make sure you don’t have plans when you start this!

This is such a good book! Read the first chapter bought it then read it between lunch and supper. Had to adjust to the jumping between different happenings but I soon was urging the different characters on. This is paranormal FBI thriller at its best. Can Jordan save her family? Can Jordan help find the FBI’s directors daughters? Loved the pace of this book. I would highly recommend!

Great story

I loved the plot and the characters - especially Jordan - a strong capable woman who adapts to every situation as needed. I didn’t really like the story from the killers views at first but came to understand it was a necessary part of the story and ratcheted up the suspense considerably. I found this to be an excellent story and already have the second book in the series downloaded and ready to go. Keep up the good work, Mr. Brown!

Definitely worth a read

This was my first book by this author and I really enjoyed reading it. It started out at a fast pace and I didn’t really lose interest at any point. I am looking forward to continuing this series. I would hope to see more character development moving forward.

I was not very fond of this book. The authors intent was good and the theorization of the book seemed to be good, the execution was subpar. This book frequently demonstrated redundancy and limited vocabulary. I would not recommend this book.

Great read

This book was really good, I recommend reading the prequel so you understand Jordan’s life better but this book was like nothing I’ve read before. I can’t wait to start the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book.

Interesting theory

Not a bad beginning to a series and hopefully it will become more intriguing the more in depth the series becomes. The psychic portion could become an interesting focus as long as the role that Jordan plays can mature into a real FBI agent.

Dont' mess with a Psychic

Powerful people such as Tech Moguls, FBI, hitmen, young adults with Attitude and crazy skills match with to survive.

Add in a Mom who is psychic...

Well, I sure enjoyed the mayhem and strong characters.
