THANK YOU Leigh Ann Edwards I will be hunting down the next 2 books!
This is the second time I have read this series. It is worth the time and effort. Some of the events are a little overdone and rather impossible, but since it deals with magic is acceptable. I didn't see any major plot problems, or spells introduced and not used as in so many books. I don't know if I ever read beyond the first 4 books last time or not. The series just wasn't that memorable to me, so it was like a new read. If you like books on magic and witchcraft, this is one to add to your reading list.
I truly loved these first 4 books and cant wait for the next one. What magic. I need to know what happens and want in the worst way for Killian and Alainna to be okay again
This was a captivating read. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. I like that all the books flow into the next. I hope that Killian and Alainna can get past all that apparently awaits them.
I truly like this story. The characters are well made, their emotions are portrayed very well and the story is enchanting, yet also scary and saddening. Very well written, detailed and a good overall story. Could do less with the jealousy from Laillan and less arrogance from Killian but otherwise was good. Highly recommend this series.
I absolutely loved this series! The characters were so vivid and incredibly interesting! I loved the twists and plots and the whole of the story line! Can’t wait to read the rest of the books
Such a good read with intricate details. This is a swoon worthy love story and I can't wait to read the last three books. I crave them with such desire to see where things go.
I enjoyed this series and had a difficult time putting it away to get my chores done. I was pulled into the emotion of the story immediately and stayed within it until it ended.
I couldn't make it past chapter six without just giving up. There was nothing drawing me into the world and the characters and anything remotely interesting was either stopped after a page or hidden because that's "what author's do."
I'm not the target audience, I'm not the intended reader, but I can certainly say this wasn't even worth the 99 cents I paid. I hate saying that, but if you are looking for for something engaging, you need to look elsewhere
Good story idea with poor execution. Badly written with many grammatical errors and last minute characters that were not developed enough and appeared in the story almost as an afterthought. All in all this was a disappointing read.
The story of Alain and Killian is mesmerizing. Their life is a rollercoaster of emotions, that will have you laughing, crying, and sometimes on the edge of your seat.
