An excellent look into what life was like at the time, and a good indication of how people felt without being too personal and biased. It must also have been compiled at great danger to him and his family, and as someone who was never given the opportunity to learn about this in school, his dedication and courage in writing this are greatly appreciated.

This was such a great, insightful book into what the islanders experienced during the occupation. Definitely my favourite firsthand account I've read!
