Rise.

Serenity has fallen. Lurking in the darkening skies above the ruined capital, the Watchers are breeding their deadliest monstrosities yet. An army grown for a single purpose: to annihilate the peoples of the Ministry worlds.

Among the ruins of Capital City, the old Ministry fortress stands alone. Within its walls, survivors of every species endure the Watchers’ global siege. Defended still by an unlikely alliance of ancient tribes and galactic soldiers; standing defiant at the end of their worlds.

Protecting this brave resistance – a human hybrid. Plotting bloody vengeance on the endless hordes, and the lurking black ship that breeds them. On the sinister figures who stole her world and ended her species. And on a man; a murderer. Stark-eyed and grinning in the dark.

The battles for Stormworld are over.
The War of the Watchers is about to begin.

I'm Andrew, a human. My first novel, Tabitha, is a science fiction which mixes aliens and superpowers with a post-apocalyptic world. It explores ideas about human nature, our place in the world, and how cool it is to battle swarms of alien spiders.

Tabitha's sequel, Sky Queen, takes her further into the realms of sci-fi action – with plenty of survival, strange abilities and huge explosions. Tabitha's third book, Ghost, completes her epic trilogy in an all-action grand finale.

Happy Dance

Oh gosh!! I wish this would become one of those Epic space opera series things my grandpa likes. Something with a lot of books. I could follow the Sky Queens and Ghosts story any where.

Really these was a wonderful ending(?) to the trilogy. Like super duper. I was pretty much devouring pages worth of the book in minutes. Tab’s story comes to a really happy ending. Like everything I wanted to happen, happened. And I couldn’t be happier.

Never have I been more sorry to have reached the end of a book series. Reading the Tabitha trilogy has been an amazing experience, and its author really did save the best til last. Ghost is the mother of all conclusions which had me on the edge of my seat, right from the very first line.

Picking up where part 2 left off we return to a world that's going to war. Ruthless aliens the Watchers have already brought Earth and countless other planets to their knees. Now they've come for the utopian realm of Serenity, and the only thing standing between desperate survivors and an unstoppable enemy is Tabitha Jones. But with devastating weapons, endless hordes of monstrous soldiers and a vicious mutant wielding godlike powers to face, this seems like a fight even the hybrid Sky Queen of Stormworld can't win.

Everything about this book is just fantastic: the pacing, the characters, and especially the descriptions. Andrew Hall's portrayal of global devastation, a world in ruins, is beautifully and imaginatively done, while battle scenes are pure mind-blowing adrenaline rushes. Equally impressive is the level of tension. Putting this story down becomes an impossibility as quiet, ominous atmospheres of dread are woven just as brilliantly as action scenes. Being desperate to know what next was pretty much my permanent mindset for the whole book.

I think I'm unlikely to come across a heroine like Tabitha again. In both previous books she was already a badass of epic proportions, but in Ghost she shines like never before. It's almost impossible to believe the hardships this character experiences while refusing to let a single one stop her. As inspiring as she is terrifying. Definitely my favourite action hero from now on.

From the start what I've loved about this trilogy is that it's much more than an alien invasion story. So many times I was amazed by the way its author could create such intense scenes of warfare and destruction, then explore deeper themes like hope, politics and the meaning of existence with just as much power and prowess. Whether you enjoy scifi that's action packed or prefer the more cerebral and reflective kind you'll find both here, magnificently combined. There's plenty of horror too-- the creatures in these books have always been far from your average aliens, but in Ghost they become more nightmarish than ever. Even the moments of comedy are perfectly timed and kept a grin on my face.

As sad as I am to have reached the end of this trilogy I couldn't have wished for or imagined a better ending. Hats off to the author. Ghost will always be on my list of all time favourite books

Ghosts is the Best One so Far. Can’t wait for more!

It’s hard to compile into words how much I enjoyed this book. Tons of action/fight scenes, never ending hoards, story that pulls you in. I never wanted to put it down. Consistently heart pounding throughout. This series has been expertly crafted and very smartly written so far and this installment is no exception. Love it, can’t wait for the next release already.

A Proper Modern SciFi Epic

I was really looking forward to this book after how good the first two were, and it did not disappoint! Ghost takes everything that makes "Tabitha" and "Sky Queen" great and expands upon it in way that makes Tabitha's transformation from timid, mousy Welsh girl to lethal butt-kicking warrior feel completely believable and earned.

Every scene is so detailed that I saw it like a movie in my head throughout, the action scenes especially. I would love to see this realised in film as a dark anime.

Some things I particularly loved about the novel were:

• The training scenes - the setup is a little long, but by the time Tabitha needs to use her skills, I fully bought into her new fighting abilities.

• Her relationships with her friends - they never felt forced or manufactured.

• The characters - with such a lively cast, it could be easy to lose track of who was who. That never happened for me. Each person is so well rounded and fleshed out with their actions, hopes, dreams or desires that the entire cast felt alive and breathing. This definitely includes fish bowl and Seven.

• The powers and tech - this story leans hard into the fantasy side of scifi while still feeling super futuristic, which made me a very happy camper indeed.

• The enemies - especially the ones encountered during Tabitha's great solo trek. They are varied and interesting. This goes along with my second to last favourite thing, which is the fact that the author is keenly aware that Tabitha shines when she is alone, forced to survive using just her wit and her claws. Whole swathes of the novel follow her lone mission to save the world, and it could be boring, but instead it's dynamic and engaging.

The best part to me is the

showdown between her and Alex. It was a fantastic cat and mouse game that worked phenomenally well being written from Alex's point of view. It felt like being in a very, very good gotham video game somehow.

There were some parts at the beginning, before Alex's surprise attack, and near the end, before the final showdown, where I felt the story dragged out a little too unnecessarily long, and while it was very fun that the epilogue wrapped everything up quite neatly, that too felt a bit too drawn out.

However, I must say, the ending line was perfect.

This is a series I thoroughly enjoyed reading and won't soon forget!

Great world building, characters with depth, and a great mc + a great villian.
The end of this last book was the best possible end one could wish for.

A pretty good ending

Tabitha and her motley Crew kick ass and take back what was lost. Lots and lots of battles, fisticuffs, new lifeforms, and old politics that needed replaced anyway.

A Sci-Fi tour-de-force!

It's been some time between my reading of Mr. Hall's 'Tabitha,' but I managed to read both sequels this year, and I'm happy to say that the series has lost nothing in the time between books. Tabitha is a badass through and through. Her fight against those who seek to invade and exploit those she's come to care about learn a hard lesson, but she also pays a high price.

The fights are exhausting, and enemies ever plotting I'm the shadows and coming from everywhere at once, but Tabitha isn't alone in her quest to defend her people.

I'm saddened to read the end of the series, but my poor pounding heart is relieved. I am eagerly looking forward to what else Mr. Hall has for us ( with maybe a Tabitha cameo?) Well done on every front, Mr. Hall. Take a bow!

The ending was worth it.

Each book in this trilogy was really long. The first took a bit for me to really get into but then the story had me. It made me cry. A few times. There were slight ups, and deep downs.
By the middle of the second book I almost DNF'd because the downs were too depressing. But, I sighed, and picked it back up. I just HAD to know what happened, how it all ended. I even searched the reviews and there were no spoilers to even give me a hint... aside from the ending, which was perfect for the FMC Tabitha. They were right. I'm glad I stuck with it.

It felt Old school. Pre-kindle. Big books that would cost a fortune back in the day. I feel lucky I was able to read it on KU for free.
Good writing, no editing issues that I can remember.
If I was loaning this series to a friend, I would warn them to not get attached.

Good

Good ending for a wonderful trilogy, with the notion that there could be a new adventure for our heroine, my only problem with the story was a few words being used too often for description.

Absolutely fantastic

Best story I’ve read in a long time. I was hooked from book 1 and now feel the empty yet happy feeling of a great story finished. The ending left a lot of room for imagination too. Definitely one of my favorite stories now.

Tabitha's epic journey ends in classic style in this, the last book of the trilogy. As well as some welcome resolutions to characters' stories and some loose ends satisfyingly tied up, there's some brilliantly-written fight scenes as well. These are never included to glorify the violence, but to put you right there in the action so you feel every blow and root for Tabitha all the more. By the end of Ghost, I was left feeling satisfied by the resolution to this hugely entertaining trilogy, but eager for more as well.
