*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
Book two in the Harem of the Shifter Queen series. This time we get to follow Riya as she was sent away during the events of book one to keep her safe from the invading dragons. The problem is that her scent is just as strong as her sister's which puts her danger as she travels. One pack of shifters offers to keep her safe from another pack of essentially the bad guys. In order to provide safety the relationship development has to be lightning fast though still nice and steamy none the less. I was loving the ice powers in contrast to the fire of book one. This book kept me hooked from the very first page and I highly recommend it to fans of the genre. I absolutely loved this one wishing it was longer so it gets 5/5 stars.

I finished this a few hours ago and I already can't remember anything about it. Better written than the first though, this one actually had subordinate clauses!!

This book is exactly as advertised. A really quick, fun, steamy read with a sassy heroine. Since it is a quick read, it uses the instant mates option along with a healthy dosing of has to choose between two packs that both want to claim her to make it get to the steam so quickly. Even with the two groups of males fighting over the same women, Riya, a powerful ice elementalist, is having none of that. She makes it clear she is no one's pawn and she will not just sit back and watch others take all the risk and suffer for her.
Rating: 3.5. I want to give this a four on some level because it does what it sets out to do really really well. On the flip side, I am likely not to remember this book in another 3 months (which is a personal requirement to give a book a four) . Then again, I am not sure I am supposed to

Lacey does it again. This is a novella about an Ice Elementalist who is sassy, confident and so much fun. She is travelling with a friend when she finds herself in between two wolf packs, both wanting to claim her. One pack catches the attention of our elementalist and she is pulled by a connection to the each of them. The other pack, oh they do not know how to treat her well and suffer the consequences!!!

Good short standalone that also plays off of Sultry Fire. This MC can command ice to do her bidding and is lucky enough to use it at the right time and place to help her men. I enjoyed the little notes of technology being history and the setting is actually far into the future. Steam 9/10 Sweetness 9/10

Here's the issue (although I did like it, don't misunderstand me): it's pretty much the same book written all over again with some minor changes. The same things happen, the MC have the same personality, etc. If you read the first one, then it doesn't make a lot of sense to read this second one to be honest.

I have to admit I am a bit partial to ice elementals so Riya was right up my alley. Of course, she is Hiras's sister so she's just as feisty and sassy as her sister. Riya is stuck between rival packs and has no idea who she should pick that choice leads to lots of sexy time so this quick read is even sexier than the first. I wonder what happens next.

I really like this series. I like the elementalists and the wolf packs. Great RH short story! Good characters and storylines especially with the length of the book. i'm impressed and throughly enjoyed it.

A nice short spin off from the first one. First the fire sister and now the ice sister. I’d say more smut in this one than the first but less story since they were scattered. I liked the ending and can’t wait to see if the next one is connected.

Well written. As noted, this is a short little escape, not full length. But it is still well thought out and thoroughly enjoyable. I'd love to see these characters developed.

This short, steamy read is a small slice of creative perfection! The MC's curious and independent personality really shines even in such a short story, and it's fun to watch her develop when stuck between two shifter packs who want her. A great read!

Overall, I really enjoyed this story. It was very short, but for a steamy interlude, it was a fun read.
