The first half of the story was well written and made for a good bedtime story. The second half of the story on the other hand was a bit out of place.

Old-school bedtime story (more text than is currently popular). I liked it very much, especially the way the youngest animals gather, and I LOVED the illustrations. They make me want to learn to draw.
