This book ends with a cliffhanger, leaving me anxiously awaiting Book 13 in this series. Summer Prescott is a terrific author who knows how to hold your attention in all her books. I highly recommend this book and all others written by her.
Awesome! Another great story in this series! So much going on between characters. Very entertaining , I can’t wait for the next installment . FYI. Hate cliffhangers, I hope the next book comes out soon. I won’t be able to sleep..hahaha!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This series is wonderful and this book certainly is no exception. As always, the characters are fantastic and new ones are described in vivid detail. The story is unique and exciting. I don't know how long I can wait after the cliffhanger ending. One of the things I love about this book is the crossover with Jansenn, somehow he seems really part of this series despite his time away and family in another series. I wish somehow it could all workout and for him. There was so much going on in this book there was never a dull moment. The storyline for Timothy and Fiona is great, and I love that Timothy was introduced into this series after originating in another one. He has really changed since back then and it's been a lot of fun seeing this happen. Now I guess the only to do is try to be patient while waiting for the next installment.
Everything is peaceful and going well until Chas gets called to a double homicide where the teenage daughter finds the bodies. It was a very gruesome crime scene and there are lots of questions but not many answers, the couple was well liked and there doesn't seem to be any suspects, so Chas has his work cut out for him. Mattie the nanny falls off a step ladder and Spencer rushes her to the hospital so she's out of commission for a few days. Janseen returns but things aren't settled with him and his family. There are a lot of things going on at the time and to top things off Timothy is up for election for Coroner but he's thinking of relocation, so Fiona goes to work campaigning for him. Everything is in a state of chaos with one surprise after another and they just keep coming. Finally, Chas gets the break he needs and arrests the murderer. Great read.
10 stars!!!! Wow, Chas has a case that is really bad for a teenage girl. There are quite a few suspects and motives, that he and Spencer had a lot to sift through to get to the truth. Janssen is back, Missy is expecting to have her baby soon. Fiona and Timothy have their issues, but everything comes together at the end for each problem. You will love this book, I read this in a day and a half. Would have done it overnight, but I had work to do. You can't stop reading this book.
Two people are bludgeoned to death with a hammer. Luckily Missy let's Chas work this one on his own. The storyline is somewhat entertaining again would have been better if we had known the people. Not a whole lot of personal storyline in this one for Echo and Kel. Glad that Fiona and Timmy are getting along a little better.
Another wonderful book in a great series. When Summer Prescott writes a book you never know where the story is going but it’s always interesting, never what you expect. The only guarantee is that the writing will be excellent, the characters will be engaging, and you’re always left wanting more!
Talk about cliff hanger! Great read and I really want Spencer to find someone special to fall in love with but it would be cool to see Janssen happy too.
Summer Prescott hit this one out of the park! This was another great book in the Cupcakes series and I really can't wait for the next one.
I can hardly wait for the next book I usually hate cliffhangers but this isn't a cliffhanger in the normal way hurry up summer right number 13 please please please and then one from hog heaven
OK leave us hanging now let's get the next book out I can't wait if you love a great cozy with characters you will love and a story that will keep you turning the page then this one by Summer Prescott is a must read
This was a great story. I hate the clutches especially when it was done before. I did love the story though. The next book better be soon. I hate stories that end like this.
I love all the characters because they have so much quirkiness and fun to them. The storyline is adding more of the characters along the way that helps you glued to this series. Oh my oh my big Cliffhanger on this one can't wait till the next book comes out.
I don't know how she does it but she has once again kept me totally engrossed in the story. I feel like I am just sitting somewhere watching it all unfold with my mouth wide open!
This book in the series www one of my favorites! Loving the plot line with Spencer and Matisse. And the dog being groomed and Jansen's "expressions" ha! Really a fun read .
Tim Eckels is competent with his work skills but lacks all other. Fiona is extremely bright rowing upstream with a paddle with her crush on Tim. The murder scene is described a bit too much but rather a good murder mystery cozy.
I really enjoyed this book. This series has really well developed characters and the storyline is always nice and tight. And this book leaves us with a cliffhanger!
Another great book by Summer Prescott. A lot of turns in people’s lives. Keeps you wondering will some relationships make it through some tough times. Ending
