A very recommended slice-of-life story. Our main character is a boy who loves reading, with the ability to get so focused in the books that he starts feeling it all in first-person, and how he discovers videogames through a club in his new school.
The school parts feel a bit awkward at times (though they are brought up with the comedy from the quirky characters), but when it's time to get into videogames, the scenes are gripping and have plenty of action, as the author is quite adept at doing.
Quite a love-letter to videogames. This volume mostly deals with shooter games (Gears of War), though there are some action game sections for Spelunker and Uncharted.
