Hiding the secrets of her past, Chelsea graduates from high school and heads off to college on a relentless campaign to create a new image for herself that would thrust her out of the shadows and into the spotlight. Brandie is Chelsea's roommate, and loyal best friend who has no clue of just how far her BFF will go to maintain her shine and block Brandie's blessings.
Chelsea meets Jordan, a popular piece of eye candy all the girls on campus want to taste. She devises the perfect plan to get her man. Although ill obtained, Chelsea finally has it all! A successful husband, luxury car, expensive high-rise apartment ... until it is all threatened by her wicked mother-in-law who comes to uncover the truth of her past and reveal Chelsea's evil ways.

Wasn’t a bad read; fairly quick read.! Sad that someone has to fake who they are to try to fit in. I’m glad that Chelsea got what she had coming to her because once you lie you have to keep lying and can’t stop until your caught up. It’s crazy that Brandi didn’t pick up on the jealousy that Chelsea had towards her each time she had a man. It was obvious she didn’t want her to be happy. She was never Brandi’s friend. Good read.

I liked the story and it was a fast read. It didn't take me long to read it but I wished it was longer. I hope her friend got her man back and I wanna see what happens to her lying behind next

Wow! Page turner

I really enjoyed reading this book. I really felt bad for Jordan and Brandie. Chelsea was so evil. She should have just told the truth. I wish there was a part 2.

Quick read. Read in a few hours. Kept my interest throughout. She got what she deserved. I was hoping that her bestie got with her husband.
