An all-around fascinating read with an entirely new framework through which readers can interpret the Enneagram system!
Beyond just being a wealth of information, this book is so cleanly organized so as to promote maximum reader understanding. Oh, the multiple appendices! Be still my beating heart! Also, breaking down the types in terms of emotional competencies is both revolutionary and massively useful in the workplace setting. This book, more than any of the other Enneagram books I've read, is the best reference text for businesses seeking Enneagram information/a manual to guide them through the coaching process.

This book was amazing! I’ve been interested in emotional intelligence for a while now and this book is the culmination of what I’ve been looking for in content. Not only did I discover my type but the author breaks it down so easily that our different strategies and competencies are easily pieced together. This book is so revealing and eye opening; it’s like he was talking directly to me describing all the inner intricacies of my personality almost like an epiphany. Some things were so true that they were hard to read but truly this will be a book I will always have in my back pocket as grounds to developing robust relationships especially work related ones and identifying gaps where performance is hindered in the every day. Highly recommended!

This book gave me some great ideas on how to translate the enneagram into a development system that would be more palatable in an organization. Sometimes you just need the right words and the perspective used by the authors is spot-on for the business world.

So much tangible in this book on the Enneagram. Ties directly to the personal and social competencies of emotional intelligence, and provides specific strategies to work on. Works for those new to the Enneagram and those who know it well.
