Buen final, pero se siente más emotividad en la película.
Después de un primer tomo con toques de humor, y un segundo donde primó el misterio, aquí lo que nos encontramos es un volumen centrado principalmente en el romance, que por cierto es bonito pero cruel a la vez. Asimismo, predomina el ímpetu, la desesperación y la valentía de los personajes principales para intentar alterar un destino que se prevé bastante trágico y desalentador. Recuerdo que estos tres capítulos que he leído fueron mi parte favorita en la famosa película de 2016, tanto así que en aquel entonces me emocioné muchísimo y le agradecí casi con idolatría a la amiga que me la recomendó. Sin embargo, con el manga no he sentido esa emotividad. Sí, la historia es genial y la parte sentimental de la película es muy fiel a la del manga, pero creo que la inclusión de una banda sonora espectacular, la voz de los seiyuus que hicieron un gran rol interpretando a Taki y a Mitsuha, y la combinación de ambos factores junto con las detonaciones, alarmas de emergencia y angustia porque se terminaba el tiempo, han creado un efecto dramático en la película muy especial que obviamente no encontraremos en el manga. Las historias no solo entran por nuestros ojos, también por nuestros oídos, y creo que ese factor ha influido muchísimo en esta ocasión.
Aun así, no me arrepiento de haber leído el manga. He disfrutado de los paneles, de las ilustraciones y gestos que les son plasmados a los personajes, de lo armónico que se ven los fondos con respecto a la imagen principal de la viñeta, y sobre todo de aquellas escenas diferentes con respecto a la adaptación. De hecho, me sorprendió mucho el capítulo nueve por la cantidad de diferencias que encontré. El argumento central no cambia, pero siento que el hilo de la historia está mejor desplegado de la forma como lo presenta Makoto Shinkai. No obstante, no todo es un jardín de rosas. Si bien no tengo protestas por el trabajo artístico de Ranmaru Kotone, si quiero quejarme un poco por la falta de lógica que noté en algunos momentos.
Por otra parte me ha gustado mucho la profunda amistad de Teshi con Mitsuha. Sería genial que todos tuviéramos un amigo como Teshi, capaz de arriesgarlo todo por nosotros y de levantarnos el ánimo cuando más lo necesitamos en nuestros periodos de crisis. Muchas veces para ejecutar un plan no solo necesitamos de inteligencia y habilidades, sino también de compañeros y de aliados que puedan ofrecernos una mano cuando lo necesitamos. El final también me ha gustado mucho.
En resumen, una historia que me encanta y unos personajes por los cuales siento mucha simpatía. Kimi no na wa o mejor llamada your name, como es conocida internacionalmente, es una historia corta pero tierna, dramática y sentimental, la cual usando la famosa leyenda del hilo rojo nos encariña con sus personajes, que si bien les falta madurar porque no dejan de ser adolescentes, son muy agradables en todo momento. Aquellas personas que en su cotidianidad sienten que están buscando algo o alguien, pero no saben que, sin ninguna duda puede que les guste esta historia.

This volume was good, but it wasn’t nearly as impactful as the anime is for me. I also think if I hadn’t seen the anime, I’d be a little confused at times with what was happening. But I love this story and these characters so much, I’m glad I was finally able to read the manga, even though I’d recommend watching the anime movie over reading these mangas. 💞 The movie is top tier.

There is a list of favorite books and then there's a whole other place where I classify this one and Kokoro and also موت صغير... I cannot express how much I love this story, the manga was as good as the anime movie and it summoned the exact same feelings I had when watching the movie.
I am taken by the notion of parallel realms, a thread existing in two places at the same time and then its ends finding one another.
I hereby declare that so far in my life, I have fallen deeply in love with three reads, Your Name being one of them.

Why did no one tell me that volume 3 was the end of this story?! That went by so quickly...I really thought there would be more books. I feel like so much more could have happened. I guess it's time for me to watch the movie now?!

It was a nice conclusion, but maybe I expected a bit more from it. The volume ended just when I wanted to see more of the story and of these characters' lives. Still, I very much appreciated the overall concept story of this series and now I'm very looking forward to watching the movie.

Me he bebido el manga de Your Name. Ha sido una idea genial leerlo justo detrás de la novela. Me he dado cuenta de que el manga es super fiel, y coge toda la escencia y todos los momentos importantes de la novela. De alguna manera logra plasmarlo todo a la perfección. Además, añade escenas de los personajes secundarios, que de alguna manera fueron imposibles de enseñar en la novela al estar narrada en primera persona. Tiene un dibujo espectacular, tanto en diseño de personajes, como en los paisajes. Es sencillamente una obra de arte.
Y como guinda del pastel, hay cierta parte importante de la trama, que no voy a revelar, que en la novela solo vemos que sucede desde el punto de vista de él, Taki. Y en el manga han decidido mostrarnos la percepción de ella, Mitsuha. Una ideaza increíble. En fin, cien por cien recomendable. Ahora a por la película <3

بعد از چندسال هنوز كامل نميدونم چه چيز توي داستان من رو به اين شكل جذب خودش ميكنه، فرقي نداره توي انيمه ، رمان يا مانگا باشه.
اين داستان (your name) پر از رمز و رازه ، حتي اگر انيمه رو بدون دقت و سرسري ببينيد و متوجه جزييات فوق العاده ش نشيد بازم محاله كه عاشقش نشيد.
اينكه شينكاي چطور در چنين داستاني به اين شكل با زمان و حافظه بازي كرده!
اينكه چطور فرهنگ سنتي ژاپن رو سبب نجات ٥٠٠ نفر دونسته و براش ارزش قائل شده.
اينكه صفحه آخر مانگا يا رمان يا سكانس آخر انيمه چطور ميتونه قلبت رو آب كنه
و....
و اينكه چطور بعد از اين همه سال هنوز منِ طرفدارِ اين داستان دارم از متن و انيمه و مانگا چيزاي جديد متوجه ميشم و يادداشتشون ميكنم.
اينا همه دليلاي محكميه براي اينكه عاشق اين شاهكار "شينكاي" بشي.
كلا داستان هايي كه اولين و بهترين تجربه رو براي آدم رقم ميزنن و شروع كننده تجربه هاي ديگر هستند هميشه ارزشمندن

Volume 3 is Mitsuha's arc. Her character has always been the most active participant in the narrative. She's really the main character in this story. For her final act in this story, she's given a second chance to save her town, but a what cost?
The manga adaptation adds several scenes not in the movie, especially the one at end. That alone made reading this worthwhile.

Po neuvěřitelně skvělém prostředním dílu, který mi dokázal vehnat slzy do očí je tohle o kapánek slabší. Řekla bych, že kvůli zpravování - občas jsem nevěděla co se vlastně děje. Jako jasně nakonec jsem se chytla. A ten samotný závěr je nádherný😍 navíc miluju, jak má každý díl pár barevných stránek😍

This song was inspired by the anime movie Your Name. And after listening to the song a thousand times I finally watched the movie - only to listen to it another thousand times.
And finally, I was able to read the manga trilogy. For me the biggest difference was emotions. While anime focused more on fantastic aspects, manga is delivering more complexity about the lives and inner struggles, which made the characters more relatable and the story deeper.

⊹⋛⋋( ՞ਊ ՞)⋌⋚⊹ MITSUHA: She’s a complex character. She has to be perfect, an example for everyone. The burden of her future being already arranged puts her in an emotionally difficult situation, though she’s doing her best to not show it. And through Taki’s life, she finally has an opportunity to taste freedom.
⊹⋛⋋( ՞ਊ ՞)⋌⋚⊹ TAKI: He’s a fun character at times, though he also has his own difficulties. Living in Tokyo, balancing school with part-time job, Mitsuha’s life must have felt like a breath of fresh air. His determination to uncover the truth and help others is also impressing.
⊹⋛⋋( ՞ਊ ՞)⋌⋚⊹ TESSHI: His life is very similar to Mitsuha. He has to go after his father’s footsteps in life. Though he is determined to find some positivity in this situation and somehow turn it into something beautiful.
⊹⋛⋋( ՞ਊ ՞)⋌⋚⊹ SAYA: She is a good friend. She gives off Hufflepuff energy. Even though she was worried, she still did her best to help her friends in the end.
⊹⋛⋋( ՞ਊ ՞)⋌⋚⊹ GRANNY: The embodiment of wisdom. But couldn’t you have told us that you knew all along, a lot earlier?
⊹⋛⋋( ՞ਊ ՞)⋌⋚⊹ MITSUHA’S FATHER: This man is really failing as a dad figure.
⊹⋛⋋( ՞ਊ ՞)⋌⋚⊹ YOTSUHA: Such a smartie. One of the most realistic younger sisters I’ve read recently.

I guess maybe as I've read this series, I've grown to like it more and more through the three volumes, because I enjoyed the third and final volume more than the previous two. It's still not as satisfying as the movie, because the book can't give you the color and soundtrack. But the conclusion of the story in this format manages to recreate some of the weight, urgency, and pathos of the film.
The story in any format conveys a sense of longing through very minimal storytelling, which is a rare gift. Where so many mainstream blockbuster films tell the audience explicitly what they should be feeling at every moment, Your Name simply presents a series of images, and invites the audience to feel whatever they feel about it.
Makoto Shinkai is a trusting storyteller, with a deep sense of optimistic, Romantic melancholy. I like that.
