My first read by both of these authors. I thought i'd give it a try and see what they're both about!
Now, this is a two sided review because on one hand i loved it. Every. single. story. Sexy strangers on airplanes. Ex boyfriend being taken back. Hot boss. Twin heaven. Swoony MMA Badboy. Flaming Dom/sub scene. Alpha Hockey player and a sweet revenge story. Every one had me. Think my faves were the twins, because damn who can resist that dream!! lol and the MMA fighter he was just sooooooo yum!! and sweet too!!!
Now on the other hand.... IT'S NOTHING BUT A GREAT BIG TEASE!!! It's designed to draw you in and fuck you up because you want more!!! It drew me in ok... yeah it did... so much so i want the rest of the stories to each and every one!! What the bloody hell happened next?? HUH??? They all need full length novels written!! DO IT!!! PLEASE!!! I NEED TO KNOW!!!
I should know myself better... I'm no good at teaser stories. I get obsessed. Seriously. It's actually killing me here!!!
I will begrudgingly give this 5 stars even though i'm dying on the inside! sigh* If you want teasing to death, need a book of short stories which will dangle big fat carrot shaped books in front of you making you salivate, and you want to part with a big chunk of your book allowance when you go in search of these authors back catalog then this is the book for you!!

The description says they ”have taken short stories from both PICK YOUR POISON and PICK YOUR PASSION and combined them for your pleasure”...AND, I’m really sorry I never read neither POISON nor PASSION, because Hilary Storm and S.E. Hall have written some fantastic little short stories for this book...❤️🌼🔥
I only had one complaint...I wish they had been full length novels...These short stories skip NOTHING (except, perhaps, length...thus “short stories”)in the way of characters and chemistry between them, and I loved EVERY. SINGLE. STORY (or the beginnings of the books they could had been)....I’m sure we all have our favorites, and I was going to name the ones that were mine...but they really are all good short stories.....Again, my only problem is I wish they would have been longer, at least ovella length...They stopped just as I was realizing how good they were.....and I felt cheated....❤️🌼🔥
Ladies, please consider finishing the books of which these short stories are just the beginning...(I changed my mind...I am going to name a few)... especially BOSSY, TAP OUT & FULL BODY CHECK!!!

Overall, this is an amazing collection of very short stories and teasers. I was disappointed in the brevity of a few of the stories, but some were just right, and all of them intrigued me and made me interested in reading further about the characters. Like, seriously, ladies. I hope this was an exercise in discerning how interested people are in the plot bunnies, because I'm ready to chase them! With every little bite sized morsel you are introduced to a new set of characters and worlds that you want to visit and know. A couple I had seen before, but they are still intriguing.
If a reader new to these authors is interested in their style, this is a great place to start. Nothing is so full of angst that it can't be dealt with, this is a milder place than the novels tend to be, though there are definitely some hot times and emotions going on. Well edited (and I look for those things). You can pick it up and put it down when you just have a moment for a quick read.

These stories were pretty good. I wished some of them could have been longer! I'm not really a fan of short stories, but these were enjoyable!
Bossy by Hilary Storm: office romance with the boss man
Laid Over by SE Hall: forced proximity, missed plane, car ride with a stranger
Tap Out by Hilary Storm: sports romance, MMA fighter
Flipped by SE Hall: second chance romance with high school boyfriend
Always On My Mind by Hilary Storm: anonymous bdsm
Full Body Check by SE Hall: sports romance, hockey player, love at first sight
All In by Hilary Storm: almost an MFMM (no sword fighting though) what a let down, hints that bdsm might happen but didn't. without giving everything away, this one was a mess! kind of in a good way.
Double Take by SE Hall: MFM with twins! I think this one was the best!!!!

I really enjoyed each short story they all kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone. “The writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plots each had twists and turns and none that disappoint. 📚💕

I bet you can't pick your pleasure
After reading this book, it's still hard for me to accurately describe what I felt when ready g each individual story. I haven't read much from S.E. Hall, but apparently now I need to go buy all the books. It's a must. As for Hilary, damn , she outdid herself on this, I am just going to sit here and BEG for more of Tap Out...... I must have more, also I need more of Full Body Check from S.E. And p!ease let me know if you are able to pick just one as a favorite.........

Not my favorite 3.5 Stars
Amazon doesn’t allow for half stars, which is too bad, because the writing in most of these short stories is good, but I’m not a short story person. I felt they fell flat on a few, proofreading would have helped on others. Now if you like quick reads, you’ll probably love this. I would have loved to see these short stories expanded a little. So that instead of feeling like an excerpt they were actual short stories.

What a great set of stories! I don't read short stories a lot, but these whet my appetite just enough, and some left me wanting to know the full story. I've read Hilary Storm in the past, but never S.E. Hall. Well, that will change immediately. I love their different styles of writing, but they were all hot and sexy!
I recommend this book to anyone who wants some quick and dirty tales! Brava, ladies!

Short history.
The details of these short stories were great. It left you wanting more. Some made me curious to find the entire book to read it all. I even checked on Amazon to find them. To my disappointment I couldn't find them all. I wish the option of the book was to find it if available.

These short stories are hot and amazing. I have two favorites in this book one All in by Hilary and Double Take by S.E.. These two women sure know how to suck you in!!! I wish there was more to each of the stories I have picked!!

Loved all of the short stories in this set. I think my favorite was Tap Out... I loved Maverick & Kinsley. I love fighter books..they are one of my faves!! Next I think it was Bossy... Mia & Mr. Briggs... yup!! He was a little bit a JackA$$ at first but he grew on me..

This book was filled with 8 short, but steamy, stories. It's a great option if you haven't read anything by these two authors as it gives you a good idea of their writing style.
While I enjoyed every story, Tap Out and Always on My Mind by Hilary Storm were definitely my favorites. Those stories ended and I just wanted more.

I am not usually a fan of short stories but I am a huge fan of Hilary Storm stories. So in the end I enjoyed the short sexy stories. And found a new to author, I have never read SE Hall but will be checking out more of her work for sure.
