15 books39 followersI always dreamed of being an author and as an 80's child was inspired by the likes of Kathleen Turner in Romancing the Stone and Angela Lansbury in Murder, She Wrote (so much so that when I was 10, I pestered my parents for a typewriter which I used to carry around in case inspiration struck -thank goodness for the invention of lighter writing tools).
I love reading as much as I love writing, and never thought I'd make the switch to e-books but have to admit that I've been converted by their ease of access and portability. I love discovering a new author and have an obsession with reading their books in publication date order. I especially like romantic thrillers and urban fantasy novels.
I live in Essex, England and have two children. I love all things Superhero and think "Geek is Chic"

Good read
This book kept my I teresa and I enjoyed the dynamic between the characters. I will read the next one in the series. I just hope the heroine maintains her self and doesn't get all lovely Dover about Grayton.

I love the Kari books created by Kelly Goode. The supernatural twist is a delight to have included. her humor, enthusiasm for life, and tenacity are great to read in the story line. There are plenty of twists and turns throughout the book.
I want to read more of her books. These books are basic action/fantasy books with a twist of supernatural. Some grammar issues, but overall an easy read and a great book.

Nice start to the Kari Stillwell series
I found this book by Kelly Goode very interesting and enjoyed Kari's character. The plot is nicely developed and there are plenty of paranormal creatures to hold your attention. Lots of mysteries to solve and the ending was quite good lending itself to a nice lead in on the second book. My only complaint was poor editing which kept this book from reading smoothly.

Magical mayhem
OMG! An awesome book with a fantastic plot! The characters are amazing, a hot handsome vampire, an equally handsome shape shifter, a beautiful,courageous woman, evil villains, and magical creatures! There are secrets, suspense, betrayal, action, danger, adventures, and good battling evil. Searching for answers and hidden evidence, a missing woman, and secrets everywhere who are the good guys, who are the bad! Lookout danger is stalking and coming for her!

Well throughout story
I really enjoyed this story. Some errors but not many. If not for the errors, this would be a five star book. I loved the premise and world created. I look forward to reading more and learning more about Kari and her journey. With two hot men pursuing her and the troubles she tends to fall into, great adventures are bound to happen.

First Time reading this author, and Julie enjoyed the book. I like the magical side of it, I love interest in the world building. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series

Kari is an investigator for a law practice that caters to supernatural clients. She goes undercover at a supernatural night club to track down a missing witch.
There is the usual romantic triangle (Kari and two hot alphas--a vampire and were). The writing is good. The storyline unoriginal. Kari needs to be rescued often.
