Fisica cuantica

Nacida con el siglo XX, la física cuántica se aplica desde entonces en todos los dominios de la física contemporánea. No obstante, si su capacidad operatoria es considerable, ¿qué sentido habría que darle a su formalismo?

A short and sweet read. It consists of two parts: first an introduction to the matter, and then some debate on the matter. It's a very well written piece, with extremely approachable language. It's clear that the author put a lot of effort into making the book suitable for people who are not into quantum physics (e.g. part on tunneling is very prettily described). I particularly liked the part on the Bohr-Einstein debates, and the later part on physics and philosophy. Overall, I liked the book very much, and I gave it 4 stars because I'm fairly acquainted with the ideas presented, so I didn't actually learn anything new.

P.S. This essay is fit for two groups of people:

1) people who are acquainted with quantum physics and want to brush up on their French
2) people who know French, and want to learn something about quantum physics
