Entertaining mystery relationship reading ✨😎🎉🎎🏚

She is drugged and left for dead in the cemetery but she is not. A great story and art work with interesting characters lots of action, misdirection, and violence leading to the next book.
I would recommend this series and various authors and artists to readers looking for something different in novels 👒🤗🤔 2024

I got this for my daughter, because she loves cemeteries. I've read charlaine harris' sookie stackhouse series and seen true blood, so I was interested to see her take a stab at a graphic novel. anyway, starling finished it and gave it to me to read.
quick read, so I'm glad it was a two in one. of course, I don't have the third volume - I don't know if there are more than that - so this is kind of a cliffhanger. basically someone tries to kill a teenaged girl, who comes to in a cemetery with amnesia and figures she'd better lie low until she figures out who she is and who is trying to kill her so she can avoid that. meanwhile she witnesses a couple of other murders, starts seeing (and hosting) ghosts, and befriends the cemetery caretaker and an old lady in the neighborhood.
so...I don't know how believable it is, all these murders, but I guess that's how murder mysteries tend to be, you can get a high body count. a love interest shows up and that feels kind of predictable. the caretaker is a man, a straight man as far as we know, and he's extremely respectful of her, never makes her uncomfortable in any way. I don't know, I have a hard time trusting fiction that does that. I guess that's a sad thing to say, that I expect any grown man interacting with a young girl to sexualize the situation in some way, but I do.
anyway, I'd like to read more but I'm not super pressed.

The novel is a bind-up of three short stories, the first story was quite intriguing and well-paced, and the second tale had more of a mystery of the week feel to it. The final story was a little better than the second mostly due to the super-fast pace but it feels very generically YA.

This was a good mystery - I did expect rather more paranormal/ghost elements, tho.

Intriguing Graphic Novel Addition to my Charlaine Harris Collection
I have read literally every book Charlaine Harris has ever written. So imagine my surprise & joy upon stumbling into a graphic novel series with her name on it, one I'd never seen before! I enjoyed the story in this GN, & I really liked the art. The little details included in each pane brought the story vividly to life. I am looking forward to the next one. For anyone familiar with Charlaine Harris, I think you will find this story is pretty typical of her work. The main plot was wrapped up in this one, although the overarching storyline definitely continues! I am definitely interested in the mysterious origins of Calexa, the main character. This is a combo of the first two "books," & if I had to choose, I liked the first one better. The second one seemed a little bit more like filler, adding some more info about Calexa's past & building up a few secondary characters for the finale. I give it overall a solid four stars.

Very Interesting in a good way!
I didn’t know what to expect when I picked up this book. I like Charmaine Harris’s books and I hope this will be the same. I wasn’t disappointed with my decision! The mystery of the young girl not knowing who to trust and who is out to kill her making me want to read the series. After reading the manga books, I’m planning to read the series because there are only so much a manga able to put in the book. A lot of details was probably left out to move the manga story line forward. I rate it a 4.5 for some repetition in the story. It’s is worth reading and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

A good read with an interesting heroine, kidnapped, left for dead and with no memory of her previous life she takes sanctuary in a graveyard, hiding away in one of the mausoleums. Her life is difficult and she has to steal.to.survive she gives herself a name by combining a few headstones. Two Strangers become aware of her.plight and start giving aid then things take an even worse turn when she witnessed a murder...........now with the ghost haunting her she needs to.find a.way to get justice for the deceased while staying hidden.

This is an excellent graphic novel about a young lady who has lost her identity. She finds herself living in a cemetery. She is unsure of her own identity, but gets to know a few people who have recently died. The plot thickens as she does some detective work and makes a few very close friends.

Really interesting and well drawn. Great storyline and I couldn't stop reading. Finished it in 2 sittings! Highly recommend if you want something that will pull you in and keep you engaged.

Didn't realise it was in comic form....
Thought I was buying a book not a comic book which is not good on my kindle (black and white) and small. This was really annoying but luckily was able to switch to my android tablet and have actually enjoyed reading the book and it was in colour. Liked the story and will look forward to reading part three when it is issued.

It's hard for me to sink into a graphic story, and this one was no different. Also, I found the protagonist's willingness to risk or harm other people to stay undercover rather unsavory.

Interesting graphic novel. A little annoying as the MC never solves any or gets close to solving her big mystery.
