When you get right down to it, I am one mean sonovabitch and make no apologies. You can’t own a billion-dollar company and be anything less. There’s just one thing I regret; turning into the person I hated most growing up. Even he had the decency to walk out. Me, not so much.
About to lose everything that matters, Grayson Patten III plans a vacation on a tropical island. What better place to reconnect with wife and baby daughter?
However, there's trouble brewing in paradise. Guns, earthquake, and the ocean itself, all join forces against him. Will he be able to save his family? Reedeem himself?
Beware: If you don't like love scenes with a lot of action and some violence, you may want to pass on this one.
Amazon Best Seller Stella Marie Alden loves Zumba, yoga, watercolor painting, and all genres of romances.
Her first book, ‘How to Train Your Knight’, won Romance Writers of America coveted Molly and Show me the Sparks Contests, and placed in four others. Truly remarkable, considering she’s only been writing for three years.
Growing up in Vermont, she loved to make up stories. Crayons fought each other over size and placement in their cardboard box and imaginary friends crowded the house. Her brother often complained. “Tell her no one’s here, Mother.".
Her career paths have varied. She’s been a librarian, a classical clarinetist wanna-be, recording studio engineer, broadcast electronics repairman, and now she architects software programs.
She lives in Bergen County, NJ with her life-long hero and their two cats. Her two girls are grown but ever supportive. You go Mom!
After reading the first two novellas, I was excited to read this third part of Grayson and Isabella's love story, but honestly, the story feel flat in my opinion. With all three problems between them, they were swept away quickly, even steer she tried to leave him. It was like she was a completely different character from the other two books. The conclusion of Xavier was nice closure for me, but I feel the book overall should have been more. The other two books about these characters was wonderful, and I have to wonder what happened to the story...
Please note that I did receive an ARC of this book, and the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
Arc review For honest review. This Isabella and grayson's story with their daughter Skye . And what happens with Xavier . Let's just say 10 star and a put your hands up awesome.
The CEO’s Redemption is the 3rd and I assume final book in this series. I strongly recommend you read the first 2 books in the series before attempting this one. Though you won’t be totally lost, you will do better knowing how we’ve arrived at this point in the story.
As with the first 2 books, The CEO’s Valentine and the CEO’s Lucky Charm the main characters are Isabella “Izzy” Harte and Grayson Patten plus Xavier Cross. Redemption takes place about 7 months after the birth of their daughter and about a year after we’ve last seen the likes of Xavier Cross.
Xavier Cross has a vendetta against Grayson and Isabella by default. He truly believes Grayson stole his everything and he wants it back. By getting rid of Grayson he can have it all, his wife, his child, his money, his company, only then will he be complete.
Izzy and Grayson haven’t had much time alone since little Skye was born. Put a few shady nannies in the mix and they find themselves believing false innuendo and can’t seem to agree on if Xavier Cross is behind it all.
A quick trip away from the mausoleum to head back home, meeting with friends then a flight to a private Caribbean Island rounds out the scenery for book 3.
This book moves quickly and jumps around very much like the first 2 but it isn’t as confusing as the others, at least it read better to me. I still feel like the bones were good but it left me wanting a little more in regards to the storyline. Once again I enjoyed the interaction between Slate and Grayson, would love to see a solo Slate book (if there isn’t one already). This latest book still hasn’t grabbed me to where I was dying to turn the pages but it was the best of the 3. I received an advance copy without expectation for review, all opinions expressed are my own.
Loved this third book. It is best to read the first two books first. Isabella and Grayson had this little girl Skye and she is a handful. They both love her to death. Gray is working too much and Skye is having trouble with keeping a Nannie. The last three have told her that her husband has tried to put the moves on each one. Then the agency tells Gray that his wife has fired each one for no reason. Skye feels like Gray doesn’t believe her and thinks she is crazy. Gray and his team have been looking for Xavier Cross as they know he behind everything going on. Xavier is crazy and wants all Gray has, even his wife. They borrow a friends house in the Bahamas to relax and renew.
This book is so good as there is suspense, action, and so much love. Gray and Skye were so in love with each other, but were having trouble letting the other know, especially Gray. It was so heartwarming to see the two commit to each other. The scary things that happened on the island was nail biting. I strongly encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book and wrote this review.
Although it isn't mandatory, I suggest reading the previous book to familiarize yourself with the background to this story. In any case, “The CEOs Redemption” is still amazing as a stand-alone. The superb writing and complex characters make this engaging story a pleasure to read. The three main characters involved in this book are Grayson, Isabella and the evil Xavier Cross. The plot deals with the progressing deterioration of the marriage due to neglect while Grayson is attempting to save his company and track down Xavier. Isabella who is left alone to raise their daughter hears rumors of Grayson propositioning the nannys. In an attempt to salvage his marriage and prove his love for Isabella and the baby Grayson brings them to a remote island for a romantic holiday. What transpires next will keep you on the edge of your seat. “The CEO's Redemption” is a mix of drama, intrigue, suspense, action, twist and turns, passion and so much love. If you're looking for a story that leaves you breathless and wanting more, this book is for you. You won't want to miss it. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is the 3rd book of the series and the best one of them all even though the other two books are fantastic this one is even better. This story is after Isabella has had her baby Skye, Greyson is still working too much and Isabella is going through so many nannies and Greyson thinks that this is all her fault but Isabella believes that the nanny issue has to do with Xavier. If you have read the first two books then you will understand all about Xavier, he believes that Greyson took everything from him so Xavier is doing everything he can including taking Greyson’s wife for revenge. Greyson takes his family on vacation to a friends island and that’s when all hell breaks loose. I loved this story there’s action, suspense, drama, danger, love and so much more, plenty to keep you entertained and turning the pages I loved this story and I know you will too. I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
Although it's helpful to read the first two books to familiarize yourself with the characters, this book completely holds it's own as a standalone. As with the other two, this book was great! Plenty of action, suspense and plenty of passion! No spoilers here, you have a well written story with well developed characters, that keep you riveted to the book from page one to the end. The story of Grayson and Isabella is well played out, and explores the difficulties of love, issues with the main couple, and having a baby in the mix! It stirs every emotion you could possible have, will make you want to laugh, cry, yell out loud and reach in and just shake some of the characters to bring them to their senses! Stella Marie Alden pens a powerful drama that is also fun and you surely don't want to overlook this book. Read this one, heck, read all of them, you will not be disappointed!
The CEO’s Redemption by Stella Marie Alden is one great book it is suspenseful, dramatic, it has some danger and definitely action packed, and full of hot passion with some love thrown in. A very well written story, I absolutely loved the great characters they were strong, tough and definitely loyal. Grayson and Isabella are having a bit of drama in their lives right now. Grayson is not sure what is going on with his lovely wife Isabella because she has let another nanny go. Isabella has let another nanny go because she can’t believe the lies they are telling. Isabella has a feeling her husband’s nemesis is behind this, but Grayson is a bit skeptical. This was a very intriguing story that just keeps you hooked till the very end. I highly recommend this great book, a must read you won’t want to miss. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
This Is the first and will probably be the last thing I read by this author. It includes the first two novellas that along with this one make up the complete story, and in the interest of getting the whole picture I read all three. There were continuity issues, including the heroines friend whose name changed from Jeanine to Jeanette, was murdered and her body found, then was resurrected in cahoots with the bad guy, only to die in a tsunami. Not to mention the heroine's abuser, whose name changed from one recounting to the next. The dialog seemed to be written by a frat boy, businesses were run in a most unbusinesslike way, the hero was clueless about the character of his best friend, and the main characters survived murder attempts, embezzlement, blackmail, more murder attempts, an earthquake, and a tsunami. Too much cheese and not in a good way.
Deserves a higher rating but after the few obvious mistakes I just couldn't. Don't read on if u haven't read the books...spoilers. In The CEO's Valentine Jeanette goes missing then later it says they found her body, but then in The CEO's Lucky Charm she's just missing and no body found. Then in The CEO's Redemption she is working for Xavier! Also in The CEO's Lucky Charm, Isabella has a brother and a niece named Stacey who is threatened by Xavier, but later in the same chapter she says she's an only child. Can't threaten a niece that can't exist! Sorry, for this review because I really do love the people and will be buying the other books to read as well
OMG what a great series this has been. Grayson is working too much even though he knows he needs to spend more time with Skye and Isabella. Three nannies have been dismissed because of their accusations of his "coming on" to them when Grayson denies he is doing this. Of course, that puts doubts in Izzy's head though she believes it is Xavier causing all the unusual things happening with Gray and Izzy's family. The previous two books showed how "crazy" Xavier is concerning Isabella. The out come of this final books is scary to say the least. Please read all three to enjoy a journey you will not believe. How anyone can write these books amazes me. Stella does such a remarkable job. I have enjoyed reading all hers books
What a stunning action-packed story. The main and secondary characters were so realistic that I couldn’t put the book down once I started. Apart from the devastating earthquake and its repercussions, this book showcases that once you are in a relationship, you can’t just sit back, you need to communicate and keep working at it regularly. I was pleased to see and hear more of the support group, they are quite fun characters after a drink or two. Absolutely loved Slate’s comments. I hope he will get a book of his own soon. Enjoyed the ending of the book too. Well done Stella. I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A Review of The CEO's Redemption by Stella Marie Alden
Grayson and Isabella - 4.5 Stars
This is the third and final book in Grayson and Izzy's story. With Xavier still free to cause trouble, Grayson just knows that he is behind all the weird things that are going on at home, with the Nannies telling Izzy he comes on to them, to the agencies telling him that Izzy fired each of them for no reason. Things come to a head when they borrow an island to get things back on equal footing and resolve their problems. Definitely worth the purchase, since this purchase contains ALL three of the books in their story.
**Honest review voluntarily provided from a Complimentary Copy**
An incredible book, in an already remarkable series, and it;s great to see the story wrapping. As much as I've loved Isabella and Grayson, it's past time for them to find a perfect, and peaceful happily ever after with baby Skye. There is excitement, and a love at the core of the romance. Very emotional, well-written as always, and with excellent characters too. I highly recommend picking up the series from book 1 (The CEO's Valentine), because this can be read as a standalone, but my experience was that much richer because of reading from the beginning. A powerful set of stories, I wouldn't miss them. This is a voluntary review of an advance reader copy.
A very well-written book, and very enjoyable! The book had some tense moments and some funny moments, tossed in with some interesting plot twists. There were several issues that were dealt with in the book, including such things as married life after a baby, sexual abuse aftermath, and experiencing a tropical storm. All the issues were obviously well-researched and depicted accurately (from what I know). Every book I’ve read from this author has contained not only a great plot but well-researched issues, and this was no exception. In addition, like the other books from this author, the behavior of all the characters was believable and in character.
Wow! What an adventure for the two main characters. Their love for each other shines through so clearly. They are dedicated to one another. Great story with thrills, spills and chills. The plot was very intriguing in how the evil forces in their lives breached their space. Both main characters are strong willed and the type who never give up. They certainly needed to be with all they fared together. Through all these trials and tribulations they learned to focus on appreciation and to cherish each other even more. A very sensual romance that left the reader replete. Thank you Ms. Alden!
I received an advance review copy of this novel and I am leaving an honest review.
Izzy and Gray are such lovable characters, add in Skye and you have an equally lovable and adoring family. Izzy and Gray are losing touch with one another since the birth of their daughter. They try and reconnect and work out some negative situations which they have found themselves in. Gray begins looking in Xavier who has always wanted what he has, even Izzy. You will be drawn into this book from the start and you will find, suspenseful situations with some twists and you will have a whole lot of love and reconnecting! This is a must read book you should not miss out on. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
I received this book as an arc and this is my volunteered review. I received the first few chapters and I'm hooked. This is the 3rd book in the series Gray and Izzy are married and have a baby, sleep deprivation and a husband working long hours Izzy feels the strain on her married and when 3 nannies so he's hitting on them her self esteem plummets. Grays worried about his wife the nannies say she tried them he thinks she has ptsd. And in the background an evil is still at large and still trying to destroy them. Great story so far can't wait to read the rest of the book.
But there’s more… The fear you harbor inside your heart Could destroy you utterly By taking away the most precious things in your life… Izzy and Skye.
Ooh! I just wanted to take these two and shake them. Communicate. Do not prevaricate!! Ugh! And this book has everything-- heartstopping events that made me sit on the edge of my chair. As if that would help! Bottom line: Wow! 5 stars.
This is the 3rd book in Isabella and Grayson’s story and I do recommend reading them in order. Xavier is out to ruin Grayson both personally and professionally. With their new daughter they haven’t have much time together and others are trying to tear them apart. They decide to take some time for themselves to be together on a private island. Will they find what is going on and a way back to each other? This is a fast-paced read with loads of drama and suspense. The chemistry is steamy and the story entertaining. A good read.
Another fantastic, amazing and exciting installment in the Gray and Izzy saga!!! Stella Marie Alden did it again! I love Gray and Izzy; so fun, exciting and connected even when life isn't perfect. So much going on in this book, you will not be able to put it down. I so enjoyed this storyline - the plot, the antagonists, the setting, the drama and the emotions - just awesome. Not only a well written book, a fun fast-paced read. It pained me to stop reading for any reason. Thank you Stella, for another wonderful book.
I received this book as an ARC for my honest review. I hadn’t read the first two books but the beginning of book 3 gave me a brief overview of them. They just had their first child and Isabella has a feeling that Grayson is cheating on her when he says it’s not true. She’s insecure and he works a lot. They decide they need a family vacation that ends up turning into a nightmare. Xavier, her old boss was still lurking around and causing problems too. I enjoyed reading this book, so I had to go back and read the first two books as well. Overall, a good series!
Outstanding! This is amazing. We continue the story of Grayson and Isabella and their crazy life. There is so much drama, action, adventure, suspense with some mystery. They have issues that they have to deal with but it helps them to grow as people and a couple. This book and series is so amazing that you just can’t put it down. It is definitely worth reading and it doesn’t disappoint. I voluntarily review an advanced reader copy of this book.
The CEO'S Redemption by Stella Marie alden out now I so loved this series. It was a way to bring two people together and find out the missing pieces in their lives. With Grayson and Isabella we see every emotion known to man and maybe more. It was funny watching her try to cope with it but loved it when he finally manned up. Lol I can't wait to see what you bring us next. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy
I was provided an ARC of this book and this is my honest review..... Just when you think nothing else can happen to Grayson and Izzy, Stella Marie Alden writes book 3 and throws a crap load of crap their way. These are two passionate characters that are battling an old nemesis to finally have the HEA with their daughter Skye. Fast, well written, overall great job. I’d like Slade to get his HEA too.........maybe!!???!!
Reading this without reading the first two books in the series, some things were a little confusing. As the story progressed, most of the confusion disappeared and I enjoyed the story. I will read the others for sure. I liked Izzy and Gray right away and was glad they trusted each other as much as they did. I would recommend reading these books in order. I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Wow, this was the last book of this series and the best!!! Gray and Izzy are both having so many problems, from Gray being a workaholic to Izzy firing nannies monthly. And at the top of the list is the unknown location of their nemesis Xavier who is controlling most of the problems. There is much angst in this story, but they do get their HEA in the end. Thanks for this great series, Ms. Alden, it is more than 5 stars!!!
How many times can the same ex-supervisor try to kill you? At least 3 apparently. Not only am I tired of this plot line, putting Isabella in danger, but the nannies lying about having Gray come on to them for sex is painfully ridiculous. There's plenty of sexy/dirty talk and steam. The bad guy is finally neutralized and we'll move on to one of the other characters in the series. I'll keep reading the series looking forward to someone else getting the spotlight.
This is book three in Grayson and Isabella's story. You should definitely read books one and two first, and in order. It is filled with intense emotions, drama, suspense, danger, sweetness, and hot passion. Book is well written, offers complex characters, and is deeply moving. A five star read that I highly recommend. This is my totally honest, voluntary review after reading this book.
I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is an excellent book. There is thrilling suspense and action. There is so much devotion between the main characters. It was unnerving to read about what happened on the island. I highly recommend this book. It is better if you read the first two books of this series.
