It was okay
I found that this one Drupal longer than it needs to be it seemed to go on and on in certain parts that didn't need to be added into the book at all.

Another great story from an amazing author, couldn’t wait to get this book and see how things turned out for our new amp slayer. I wasn’t disappointed the book had me gripped from the start. A fantastic read and would highly recommend. Bring on the next!

Worst series of my life! Stupid and ridiculous!
I read hundreds of novels yearly. This was the worst series I have ever read. Ongoing torture of absolute outrageous stupidity. I kept hoping that the series would get better but this author has no concept of story telling with regard to the supernatural. For example, Amish werewolves??? Seriously? Oh and a girl that endlessly lies putting herself in stupid dangerous experiences with zero skills on self defense going after Vampires. Let's not forget the endless spewing of dumb banter. I had to skip pages because it was so awful. I try to give authors the benefit of the doubt but, this one just failed in every way. This was a book for a 12 year old. Haha! Mr. Crane you need some lessons from authors like Stephanie Hudson on storyboarding. Good luck!

I liked this book better than the first. The protagonist had a lot of maturing to do in the first book and in some ways you could dislike her. In this book she seems to be coming around to being a character you can like better. And she's gaining competence. If that happens too quickly, it can seem forced and just irksome to the reader. But the authors are making it a well paced journey. I plan to get the next one because I liked this one so much.

FINALLY
200 pages has never felt so long. it wasn't as enjoyable as the first one. it dragged so much it felt like it was one long scene that just didn't have an end. I was only determined to finish this and its something super easy to read and just look at my phone. a super basic childish series thats not good at all but at least I can focus sort of.

More meat to the bone of book 1
Yet another good read from Robert J Crane.
This second book has the advantage of book 1 doing most of her heavy lifting of setting everything up so this book could get on with plot and action.
Realy enjoyable with no swearwords ,limited gore and a believable plot line. Looking forward to book 3

Very good
This is the second book of this series and it is very good. There is good and bad vampires. The main character is a female human. Very brave. Must read but start at the beginning of the series.😃

I can say this one was excellent I'm enjoying the story of Cassie Howell the serial liar and vamp killer. I love how she has befriended Iona and Mill whom are of course Vampires. There was a few tense moments but it all turned out to the better.....

I like this story. I like that this series is finding its feet, as (for me) this is a stronger book than the series opener. dont get me wrong, I enjoyed book 1. It's just that this one excited more of my happy brain synapses.
sometimes, it is difficult to keep a handle on our heroine's age. Not least because of the simmering thing (no spoilers) which I would like to see boil over.
That said, this plot highlights results through collaboration... much in the same way that Frodo wouldnt have been able to destroy the One Ring without Sam, it would seem that you can't take on a Vampire enclave without a few friends. And beggars (or liars in this case) cant be choosy.
I continue to be intrigued and excited by this series and look forward to reading more.

Really enjoyed the series opener so I was looking forward to this one. Cleverly written and fast paced. Liking Cassie and how her character is developing both in itself and as part of her group. She's in a world she now can't ignore and I suspect it's only going to get more difficult for her. The relationship she has with her unlikely vampire allies is also looking to get more complicated in more ways than one ...... cant wait for the next!
