RIGGED was an interesting romance about two people exploring their kinkier sides and discovering their need for a polyamorous relationship. I really liked all three involved, but I do wish we got more of Sean's story. He felt very underdeveloped compared to Kaitlyn and Gordon who most of the story is focused on, and this made Sean feel like the third wheel he was afraid he'd become.
The set up for Kaitlyn and Gordon realizing their desire for bondage was really sexy and the intimate scenes between first Kaitlyn and Gordon, and then all three about set my kindle on fire. This is a shorter read so these characters fall in love fast and there's a fair bit of reliance on Kaitlyn and Gordon's friendship to do the emotional heaving lifting. That being said, I still felt like Vanessa North included enough to make the story enjoyable and believable.
One of my favorite parts is that Kaitlyn plays a dominant role in the relationship alongside Sean. Most of the polyam or ménage books I've read so far (which admittedly isn't a lot) have all had the two men as the dominants and the woman as the submissive just discovering kink. So this was refreshing to have a strong female MC who likes to be in control.

This little read packed so much in such a short time that I was drunk on the loving it high I got from it. The bondage stuff is what I'm into and I was able to get right into this story. I'm not really a triad kinda reader but this was done in such a way that I felt comfortable reading it.

WOW!! Vanessa North Rigged me to be my new favorite author when it comes to MMF Bondage books!! She was an author I had never heard nor read from before. I was drawn to her book by the unique cover and amazing synopsis of her book. Now she is someone I would gladly read from again.
I admit I read a lot of erotica stories that involve MMF, FFM, and sometimes BDSM and other taboos subjects. You can say I am an open-minded reader-to a point. Each writer has their own way of writing erotica and their own forte. Vanessa wrote her scenes very sensual, genuine, and incredibly sexy. The way she eased the characters into the bondage scenes were mind blowing with the sexual tension brewing. As a reader I wish I was in the room watching Sean tie Gordon for the first time ever. I was jealous I was not Kait watching the scene unfold.
The story line in Rigged was the most creative and unique storyline that I had ever read before. Even though at the end of the story you could guess what was eventually going to happen. However, it didn’t diminish how great the ending was.

This book was really good with the shabari scenes and very detailed for those scenes, which I’ve come to realize that they make me feel pretty tired and calm just listening to it. The reason I’m giving it a 3 is because although I did like those scenes and the complexity of the story, there were quite a few things I wasn’t interested in/didn’t like.
I wasn’t a fan of either Kaitlynn or Gordon, they made little to no communication throughout the story and honestly they bickered for like 80% of the book. Sean was the only character that was mature and that I enjoyed.
Now this one is my personal preference, but I don’t like femdoms, the FMC was more of dom and controlled Gordon in the bedroom… personally not for me, I would’ve liked if her and Gordon were both subs that Sean dominated.

Should have felt right up my alley, but... couldn't buy the premise (from the "Exposed" anthology), the sex felt showy, surface-y, wasn't comfortable with how they negotiated things or took care of each other, and the feelings between them all felt rushed.

This little novella was hot as hell and I loved it not only for the spice but for quality characters that the author managed to give us within such few pages. I would 1000% listen to a full length version of this book. I want so much more of these 3. I highly recommend this novella if you’re looking for quality spice and characters.

Not a fan of the timeline of their relationship. Liking everybody is fine, but doing stuff without actually explaining perimeters, dos and don’ts in their relationship was kind of a big turn off for me. Gordon and Sean having their moment while Kaitlyn is with them was fine, but the moment Kaitlyn was having a hard time, Gordon went to Sean to talk and ended up having his moment alone with him without having proper conversation about that dynamic… that was not something I enjoyed and it made it really hard for me to finish the book. They went to talk to her as a united front and I honestly felt a little bad for her at first. I don’t mind poly relationships at all but this one just didn’t feel like it started off on good terms and although it ended happy, in my mind I couldn’t picture them staying together and idk… I was just mentally turned off after all of that played out.

I really liked the trust between Kaitlyn and Gordon.
I only wished we got to know Sean a little more, he wasn’t as well developed as a character compared to the other two and I couldn’t help think he deserved more, especially when you find out what his insecurity is around.
If you want something quick, spicy and fun without a major plot line then this will deliver.

I am volunteering to leave a review of this ARC book. Kaitlyn and Gordon have been BFFs since college. They are now partners in an architectural business. Both, separately, have been thinking about more, but don't want to toy with a GREAT thing. Kaitlyn, on a lark, sends a photo of Gordon to an organization that produces nude calendars for charity. Gordon is chosen. His is a pretty amazing photo, which involves rope, and Sean. What happens opens a door. Will the door stay open, or slam right in their faces? I enjoyed the book. Wonder if there is a next for Kaitlyn, Gordon and Sean. Vanessa?

I love that even as a sexual bondage polyamorous story this still has an innocence about it. It's also satisfying that the characters come from different careers and what seems like different social standings. The two best friends (newbies, the young man and woman) have a successful business together and the rigger is a cook/chef at a busy restaurant. This was a great short story showing the beginning of a fulfilling, polyamorous, bondage relationship.

A quick steamy story. Friends, Kait and Gordon, realize they care about each other but not until they meet Sean. The emotions all three went through made this a good read. Once they fully communicated with each other, it was a happy ending. As the title implies, there is bondage but it is not overpowering.

Super quick read but very well written. Two friends exploring the would have bondage and kinks, realizing they love each other more than friends. As they are exploring this new interest they have they discover they want a third person with them. The rigger that tied him up.
It’s a great read and like I said a super quick one but worth the read. It’s the best one I ever read about bondage and exploring your senses safely.

Great read, well written with a great plot and characters. I was initially drawn to the fantastic cover, but the synopsis sucked me in and I had to read the rest. I was engrossed from start to finish. Fast, steamy read. I couldn't put this book down! I will definitely be reading more books by this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

It was... a different experience for sure. Not bad, not good. Just kinda ehh.. would I read it again? No. Probably not. Would ai recommend it to someone? No. Probably not. It was a very short read that I listened to just for background noise while I cooked dinner and I wasn't expecting it to be THAT. It was literally just experimenting with bondage p*rn on paper.

It seems that either a section of the conversation was taken out by an editor or glazed over, but it was jarring and confusing that the “talk” was so short and to the point. I definitely would have liked if the story was fleshed out a little more. Seemed rushed.

The books was alright, I didn’t like the female narrator though. She came off whiny. I did however appreciate the communication within the relationships. For a quick novella I enjoyed it.
