Summary:
Finn and her friends refuse to give up their dream of finally being free from the EHC, but there are obsticles that they never imagined. As the struggle continues, they continue to fight for each other, but the loss of Lacy to the EHC leaves Finn determined to find a way to free Lacy form their control. With danger at every turn, Finn and her friends have to make desperate decisions that could spell doom for everyone they hope to free.

This is a fast paced intricate story with surprises at every turn. The roller coaster of emotions take Finn and her friends into danger time after time as the have to deal with loosing friends. Finn in the backbone keeping the group moving forward, but is she strong enough to see it through. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

This one kept me on my toes!

Another cliffhanger to keep me on my toes! The series is still extremely fast paced and action packed. I’m also starting to feel more of a connection to the characters 3 books in, even though I still think they could use more development. I also wish there was more relationship building. The relationships feel shallow. Honestly, the one character I thought was the most developed and had the most concrete relationship in the series died and I couldn’t be more sad about it! I hope the next book gives us more insight into Sky and hopefully forms a more concrete emotional connection than the superficial stuff we have seen so far. The sneak leak of chapter 1 has me looking forward to their relationship, as well as the new team dynamic being forged. This should be interesting!

Wow! This story picks up where the 2nd book ended and sucks you right back into the EHC run world. You won't believe what happens to Fin, Sky, Elias, Lacy, Drape, and the rest of the resistance. Who to trust becomes a guessing game. You'll be on the edge of your seat many times throughout the book. I can't wait to see how this story turns out!

And the Hits Just Keep Coming!

Things just seem to go from bad to worse in this continuation of Fin and her friends efforts to be free of the oppression of the EHC. Bring on the next part of the story!

This series starts slow but picks up nicely in book two and builds an interesting story in book 3

frustrated reading this book about war and fighting. Poor character development. The fact that a handful of misfits could bring down the ruling regime was not believable.

This series has ideas which are not just the typical stereotypes of this genre.
