Very coarse, reminiscent of Aristophanes, who satirized Euripides in The Frogs. From the verbal parallels editors notice, I wonder if Euripides was giving Aristophanes a taste of his own medicine. Though Classicists differentiate between comedies and satyr plays, the jokes are similar. Like today, sex and drink are the staples of the humour. Fortunately we can read the Odyssey just as well as Euripides' original audience, so are on almost the same footing in getting the jokes.
