A horrible nightmare has Bastian Owens shook to his core, it felt so vivid, so real. After being lost and abandoned on a deserted city street and watching his best friend taken away by a feral looking man, the fact Bryan ditched school the next day does nothing to calm the nerves. Before long he will discover there truly is nothing more dangerous than a bad dream.
3.5 Stars Inspired by Nightmare on Elm Street, the Krugers series is a great fit for readers, like myself, who loved that iconic horror film. Yet, readers certainly don't need to watch the movie in order to enjoy this book, since it completely stands on it's own as an imaginative story.
As a horror reader, I found this more entertaining than scary, yet it certainly has some suspenseful moments. I look forward to seeing where the series goes!
I received an advance copy from the author who I consider an online friend.
