Syed Hasan Rizvi Shakeeb Jalali was born in Jalal India on 1st October 1934. Jalal India is located near Aligarh India. Shakeeb Jalali was 32 years old at the time of his death {suicide ?} on 12 November 1966. He died in a moving train accident in Sargodha Pakistan. Roshni aye Roshni is the only Urdu Kalam book by Shakeeb Jalali. He mostly wrote in genera of Ghazal in his unique style.

He knew he was one of the great poets of Urdu. But at times not getting recognised kills you.

From many great artists to most of the great poets, there is a same story. "The day you die, is the same day you start getting recognised and famous.

"Shakeeb apnay taruf kay leay yeh baat kafi gai,
Ham us say hat kay chaltay hain, jo rasta aam ho jaaey"
