Madison and her friends are going to a pop concert!
When Madison and her friends win front-row tickets to see their favorite pop singer, Nikki, in concert, they can’t believe their luck. Nikki just seems so perfect! All the magazines say so. Going to the mall to find the right outfit for the big night should be fun, but Madison’s friend Aimee just doesn’t seem like herself these days. She’s not eating, and she’s grumpy all the time. Getting zits and wearing the coolest outfit doesn’t seem important when Aimee’s health is at risk. Can Madison remind her friend that feeling good on the inside is what makes you look that way on the outside?

Oh how this book captured the middle school years!
Not only did this book capture a similar middle school experience to what I had but I think this was around the time when I also went to my first concert.
This novel is relatable to those in a similar age group. The story goes through and shows different identity insecurities based on appearance and also the idolization that preteens have on favourite actors/actresses/celebrities/musicians. Those middle school years are TOUGH because you are no longer a young kid and often this is the time societal pressures get introduced.
As much as this is a light read, the story also covers some deeper content that can introduce discussions, especially for younger readers having similar feelings.
I think this book is awesome.I couldn't even set my eyes off the pages.I like the book,it's a good book.I like the writing, the things that happen between the 3 friend.I like everything about this book. This book reminds me of my best friends and our connections or the things we believe in,and the things we do staff together. This book made me remember my first concert and how fun it was.And one thing I learned from this book is how much friend are important and that I should trust my friend.I love this book.I reccomand people to read it because it actually gives you a little lesson about friend and it's a really fun book to read(especially teenagers).
This was an emotional read, like most of Jodi Picoult's books. I enjoyed the characters, the story, but wish the ending was more developed. I wanted to know if a relationship would exist between father and son. Also, I wanted to know where Cassie ended up eventually.
