I wish this author would spend more time flushing out her storyline. I usually like her characters, but the stories always seem incomplete. This was insta-everything, which is hard to do with the MCS being best friends for ten years. There's a big lie, anger, betrayal then BAM... just kidding! Everything's alright all of a sudden!!? What!!? Another disappointing read in this series, but I really want the next story because there's a hint of it in this one!😥 Why do I keep doing this to myself!?😫😖

I didn't think this was ready for publishing
This book was all over the place; it really needed better proofreading and tighter plotting. When we first meet Sacha, he works for his father's tech company as a division head, but later it's a law firm and Sacha does something worth corporate law. There was a lot of sex, but a very weak story in between. And when the story actually got good, everything was glossed over.
There should have been much more depth into the research that both this couple, and the prior couple are doing into mating, including the reasons behind wanting to do the research. We should have seen the team learn about the kidnapping from the first that they did, and see things devolve with Stan step by step instead of a quick gloss and suddenly, out of nowhere, crisis.
I'll still read the next book because I really want to see what happens with Chester and Silas, but this one was underwhelming.

I think this was my favorite in the entire series so far. With Sacha and Jared already being friends and roommates, the bond was there, but muted. There was conflict on the reveal and then a spike in emotions. But with the help of friends and family, both men were able to come to terms with their secrets and work towards a better relationship, one not of friendship, but mating.
Hell yeah I will be tuning in just to see where Meg Pritchard will take this series! If you enjoy the paranormal world and need a good rescuing, this may be the series for you.

Enjoyed
Really liked the MC's Jared and Sasha, I did think they resolved their issues a little to quick especially in regards to trust.It does have several episodes of gun violence with the author being in England it make us appear very violent but we do have a lot of gun violence plus it opens with a school shooting and having kids it's a real fear. Couple of grammatical mistakes but overall enjoyed the relationship can't wait for Chester and Silas the next vamp/human mating they have a big problems to overcome.

Also das ging wirklich ans Herz. Sacha lebt seit 10 Jahren zusammen mit seinem Gefährten im selben Haus - als Freunde - denn Jared ist hetero. Es zerreißt ihn innerlich, seinem Gefährten dabei zuzusehen, wie der eine Frau nach der andere abschleppt. Aus Angst, zurückgewiesen zu werden, behält er sein Geheimnis für sich. Als das jedoch herauskommt, ist Jared außer sich.
Was hab ich mit Sacha mitgelitten, das war richtig emotional. Jareds Sinnenwandel fand ich ziemlich schnell und nicht so überzeugend erklärt. Trotzdem ein wundervoller Teil. Ich liebe die Reihe jetzt schon.

Forever Mine (Rescue Inc Book 2) by Megs Pritchard
First time reader for Ms. Pritchard books and have discovered a new author to add to my favorite read list. Book 1 and 2 deserve 5-stars for the romance, paranormal intrigue and the teamwork of the rescue missions. Enjoyed reading this book and would highly recommend.

Great book!
I liked the interaction between Jared and Sacha. And the story they were involved with was fantastic. I will be buying the next one that for sure. That you Megs for writing a wonderful story. Keep up the good work.

OMG why did i take so long to read this book?
Sacha and Jared will take you in a roller coaster of emotions!
Megs made me cry with Sacha and i couldn't put this book down until i finished it!

Thoroughly enjoyed!
This is the second book of the series and it keeps getting better. Can't wait for the next in the series hope it is Chester's story.

The right to know
An interesting second story of mating from this universe. Sacha and Jared have been close friends and roommates for ten years now, but Sacha has been too afraid that entire time to tell Jared that they are mates. Now things are starting to come to a head and Sacha knows he needs to tell Jared but is terrified the in doing so he will lose his mate. If he never tells though he will never know and Jared will continue on with his hookups.
It was a hard decision for Sacha to tell and it was easy to see why. After all, when they met Jared appeared very much straight and uninterested in any relationships. The passing of time has not dissuaded that notion while making the two ever closer, which continues to make it harder for Sacha to imagine losing it all. When he does build up the courage to tell, Jared is indeed furious and leaves. This seemed very unfair overall. Not only was the known relationship issues, but Jared states it was his right to know they were mates. That is like saying it is your right to know if someone is in love with you. It is good to know and the basis of a relationship, but those are private emotions and the decision to disclose is completely personal. Jared needs to work through this himself with his friends and decide if the betrayal he is feeling is bigger than what he and Sacha have built over a decade.
It was a bit of a rapid turn in relationship between the two which was surprising, but likely done to allow focus on the work again. The emotional work through was well done in this book though a bit abrupt at times. There is a major lead in for the next book and pairing which seems interesting to read. Good easy series.

I enjoyed this story with the whole vampire mate scenario, the drama of their work for Rescue Inc. and the whole way that Sacha had to reveal what Jared was to him. I have no idea how he was strong enough to live with his mate and handle him going out and hooking up with women. There were a lot of strong emotions in this story as the two men sorted out their relationship so they could be together moving forward. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Again as in the first book the pace of the book is fast, but it didn't bother me as much as it did in the first one. The relationship between Jared and Sasha was sweet (although the smex scenes were hot). I also loved the thing the author did with Jared's sexuality. In some books of some other authors that I've read throughout the years, there was a situation where the guy only had sex with women and identified as straight but that one guy he started to fuck is also doing it for him. But of course he's straight, and what are you implying? (I know they say then that he's bi/bi-curious or whatnot else but for me, it feels like that guys he's seeing is his dirty little secret...) Fortunately that's not the case here! Everything ends with them being together and happy.

When sacha finally works up the nerve to tell Jared he dose exactly what sacha was afraid of and leaves him. Then Jared comes back like nothing happens and and bends sacha over. There so much hurt and pain in this short book and I hate unnecessary heartache. Honestly skip this one. If this was done better it could have been alright but this author has no original ideas.

I really love how Megs Pritchard is beginning to shade in some more information about the overall world. It's a slow process but I actually enjoy that. I want to know more about what's going to happen.
The story itself was solid. The characters kept my interest. While I would normally find it too rushed considering what happened, the genre lends itself well to that. I think it also speaks to the depth of a friendship the two characters have and how that changes dynamics instead of a quick fated mates situation. Megs Pitchard hit my emotions this time.

because he has lied by omission for so many years and Jared will be angry. Thus comes to pass that very thing. Jared goes off in a huff and Sasha is left crying again. Now in between all of this angst is real violence and death as two scenarios are set up for the reader that are heart gripping and nail biting. The only problem with this book as well as others of this nature, I don't feel there has to be so much time between secrets and the knowing. Why nine whole years. It just seems a little fantastical that in all that time Jared didn't have a clue and Sasha kept his secret.

This was a lovely book, I liked the characters and the plot and I’m looking forward to the next one.
Character breakdown;
Sacha: he as a bit too emotional for me, I kinda wished he acted more like an adult. But it was nice to see him get his mate.
Jared: fun guy, a little stubborn but I adored him.
The plot towards the end of the book got my attention fully, more than the rest of the book. And once again I am looking forward towards seeing Chester have his mate, finally!!

I wasn't as in love with this couple as I was the first book. Their chemistry seemed a little off. They went from friends to confused and angers people to lovers. This was the craziest insta love I've ever read. And from the way that his team was picking on him in the beginning I felt like they already knew about the connection.

Too easy, predictable
Sometimes a series gets better but not here. Not that it's bad it's just very predictable. It's all just too simple and easy for these couples.

Omg these books are turning into something special. I laughed and cried... I can't wait to see what happens next in the series, plus finding out more about fated mates and the new and old pairs.

Same problems I had with the first story I had with this story. I loved the basics but felt like it was missing sections of storyline. I will keep reading but am happy I got them on Kindle Unlimited.
