I really like this book. It’s compact and easy to read but FULL of different tips, experiences and resources for traveling. It covers a spectrum of travelers but specifically speaks to those looking for a more “personable” experience when they travel (but no judgement to those just looking to “getaway” on their travels). Different ways of seeking accommodations are covered according to things such as budget, comfort, local experience, etc. It overs the pros and cons and specifically addresses ways to keep yourself safe and protected during these different ventures. More than anything, this book got me thinking on how I can mix different accommodation styles to get the best and most affordable way to travel for me personally. It’s a great reference book I will undoubtedly be coming back to. Use your network and offer what skills you have for best results.
