Great book!
Mated to the Ocean Dragon is the third installment in the Elemental Mates series. I've read the two previous books and thoroughly enjoyed them and this book i liked even more than the two before it! To be quite honest, when reading the first two books, i wasnt very fond of Timothy, the Ocean dragon. He was that typical rich, arrogant, playboy billionaire who loved to brag about all the supermodels he sleeps with. He was the perfect example of that stereotype, which made reading the story of him finding his mate, a very pleasant surprise! His mate Liana is basically the exact opposite of the supermodel type that Timothy has always gone for in the past. She's a bbw, black woman who works as a coder for a game based on dragons thats marketed for preteens. She's pretty, but with low self esteem thanks to an ex, as well as a geek and proud of it. I loved finding out that Timothy has hidden depths to his personality, he's not the selfish shallow billionaire he shows the world. He's very charming, so much so, that people dont really see past that persona he uses like a shield. That is until he meets Liana. Being his fated mate, allows her to see the sweet caring man, hidden behind the facade. Like the two previous books in the series, this book has lots of sweetness, steamy scenes, and plenty of action in that magical world of shifters that Zoe Chant so seemlessly creates. I'm a big fan of the Elemental Mates series and I'm really looking forward to the next book, which I'm pretty sure features the Fire dragon Braedon. Braedon is up until this point, the not so bad guy, who's been imprisoned for attacking the storm dragon's mate. If you like shifter romance with a dose of action, this is definitely one book you will want to read. Just make sure to read the first two Elemental Mates books first. There's too much backstory in them to be able to fully grasp this book without having read the first two books in the series. Book 1 is Mated to the Storm Dragon, book 2 is Mated to the Earth Dragon, and book 3 is Mated to the Ocean Dragon. Obviously, all written by the very talented Zoe Chant.
