A short vacation visiting his friend was exactly what Brett needed. What he hadn’t expected was the visit changing his life forever. A violent attack leaves him left for dead and his world dark. Being far away from home, his fate, his future, depend on a strange pack and people he knows nothing about.
Bayne had long thought he would never be blessed with a mate, yet when he becomes involved in helping his pack find out who is attacking and killing wolves, he’s overcome with the scent of his mate. The last thing he’d expected was for his mate to be blinded and fighting for his life.
Finding your mate, falling in love at first scent should be easy, but it isn’t. Fate might want them together, but they are still strangers who need to learn about each other, and how they can fulfill each other’s needs and desires.
Swearing to find the hunter targeting wolves, the two face their future, piecing the clues together as they learn what it truly means to be mated.

To my ratings: A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*:
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year), it's like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok) It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
Chapter 1-Terrified, Chapter 2-Crying my eyes out!
Part of this story is the mystery of who and why the horrific attack on Brett and his friend. The majority of this book is the building of a relationship between Brett and Bayne. For Brett being blinded and then finding his mate was the worst thing he could ever imagine. Having to depend on his mate rather than be what he once was, a strong shifter who could equally be there for his mate, was so heartbreaking. This made me cry more, never to run and play with Bayne through the forest because he was blinded. Bayne is wonderful in trying to anticipate what Brett needed as well as realizing that though they were fated mates, they really didn’t know each other. Great story!
When Brett and his friend Bridger are attacked, Bridger is killed whilst Brett is left bleeding and blind. Wanting to die rather than go on, he thinks his prayer is answered when bears find him. But these bears are shifters and save his life taking him to the Terrin Pass Pack.
Bayne is called to the pack house to help discover why a wolf is dead and another is near death, only to discover that Brett is his mate. He vows to help Brett Cole with his blindness as well as get justice for his friend.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Can't wait for book 4
This is the third book in the Terrin Pass Pack series
This was another great read plus this was the most emotionally charged book of the three . I can't say that I find bondage all that exciting it kind of makes me uncomfortable as m.m book's go . But this one wasn't really that bad trust me I've skimmed through so really raunchy one that left a bad taste but as I said this one wasn't bad . I really enjoyed this Authors story's and world building I liked the couple too but I have too say there is some serious drama going on in these book like wow drama . But despite that I would definitely recommend these book to anyone who love M.M shifter romances .
This story was emotionally moving, intense and disturbing.
My heart broke for Brett in the beginning - the author captured his pain, sadness, vulnerability, insecurities and even the state of his mental being powerfully.
Bayne was amazing and I loved how he reassured, comforted and loved Brett despite the circumstances.
There was a small element of sub/Dom but I’m left undecided whether it actually fitted in well into the story.
This was an amazing read and I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end.
Well written wolf shifter romance. This was a nice story. The story starts with an attack on a couple of shifters out on a run. One ends up blinded and in the midst of being treated at the pack house he catches the scent of his mate. The book centers around the struggle to find the people who harmed the shifters and the MCs struggle with blindness.
I thought the book was good but wouldn't be compelled to reread. I would read future books in this series.
This was a beautifully written book. The storyline with a gut wrenching attack that shouldn't have happened to anyone set the stage for an amazing love between two fated mates. I liked that the labels of Alpha and omega didn't really matter in this book; both were very strong characters in their own right and showed a true partnership in the mating. I really hope that there's a book 4.
This is an amazing shifter series. They're full of action and suspense, drama , love and hot mating. Brett was beaten and left for dead along with his friend Bridger, from Terrin Pass Pack. Found and taken to Cohen at the pack house for treatment, he discovered his mate Bayne. Lots of drama and excitement follow, some angst and fear due to Brett's injuries. Loved it. Looking forward to next one.
Good story I liked all the characters. I really wished we got to meet his sister but even he forgot she was coming and took off with his mate for an Alaskan Vacation. I love the whole concept of mating...one person you are fated to be with but it's told to easily. Your my mate and I love you instantaneously but I guess they have enough to deal with.
The writing and characters were good, but there were a couple things that totally ruined the book for me. The main thing for me was the handling of mental illness in this story is really awful. You can NOT heal depression or any mental illness by exposing a person to MORE trauma. And yes .
Really good story very intense the MC's were wonderful. The human Justin was a psychopath borderline serial killer he wasn't going to stop I felt no empathy for him or his motive. I hope the next book is about Mark and maybe some redemption he seemed more like a lost soul.
Wow! Such craziness in the beginning! I felt horrible for those two and everything that happened. I almost wanted to cry when he wanted to end it all. Good story.
