With a deliciously bustling bakery and the lure of a real date, things are looking up for Adie, until she’s unceremoniously summoned to the library. Adie has no choice but to listen to the Librarian’s demand, and no real way to refuse.
The day started so well, but it isn’t going to begin or end the way Adie thought it would. Then again, do her plans ever go as expected?
Join Adie on her (mis)adventures towards achieving a quasi-normal life among humans.
Pacific Northwest author L.L. Frost writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance with snarky characters and descriptive world-building. Whether she's writing a fast burn romance about witches, wolf shifters, and vampires, or teasing a slow burn romance while hunting demonic monsters, her passion is for character driven novels.
Growing up in a rainforest gave L.L. Frost plenty of time to daydream while spending cozy days under a blanket with her cats by her side. Sipping tea or chugging coffee, you can find her with a book or laptop in hand, imagining new worlds.
If you're looking for a romance and reverse harem story to read and you've got about 20 minutes, give Adie's serial a shot. She's either the luckies succubus around or the unluckiest, you decide.
In this installment, Adie finds herself out on a date, and roped into a quest set forth by the Librarian. How much trouble could she possibly get herself into? More than anyone expected.
The Assignment continues L.L. Frost’s Succubus on a Mission story arc and this installment picks up where the last left off. Adie stepped through a portal at the bakery and has found herself in a hallway with none other than the librarian. She has a bargain to make with Adie and if she can retrieve the book the librarian wants returned then she’ll exchange it for one that she knows Adie so desperately needs. This installment picks up the pace and moves forward quickly giving readers a nice dose of what they are looking for. There is drama, action and good heap of danger looming to come later on in the pages. All seems well, the guys are working to court Adie and she’s opening up the idea. But, as life goes, not everything can remain happy. This installment packs quite a punch and I absolutely love it. For those readers who are eager for some steamy…you’ll be more than pleased with this installment. I am rating this particular addition to the serial/series 5 out of 5 stars. Can’t wait to find out what happens next
Adie just can't catch a break! She's finally on her way to her date with Kellen, but gets pulled into the library and assigned a quest to retrieve a book from one of her cousins. By the time she gets to Kellen she's emaciated and starving. Thank goodness Kellen is there for her. But just as things have gotten good between them, they're interrupted. And now Adie's in danger again! Poor succubus! And gah, what a cliffhanger!
Just a warning, this book has a serious cliffhanger! This is a serial and they have to be read in order. The series is very good, I just wish we could get them all at once or quicker than once a month anyway!
I just can’t get enough of this serial. Love it and can’t wait for the next installment. Now this one left me yelling out at the end. !!! Need more fast !!!!! Want to know what happen!!!!
So Adie and Kellan finally do that. It feels like that was such a long time in the works. Adie also gets pressed into a Quest from the Librarian and meets a rival of Kellan's who seems to have some very bad intentions.
Wow. The scene between Adie and Kellen is hot. Slater just had to go and interrupt. Of course it leads to another cliffhanger. I must know what Domnall’s purpose is and what he wants with Kellen and Adie.
I loved that addie and Kellen finally had their moment of course it had to be interrupted. I laughed at the part where addie was arguing with the signs. That cliff hanger was mean so glad the next book is out.
I really like this series but I was somewhat confused by this book. Maybe it has been too long since I read book 11. Still I can't wait for the next one.
