Watch That Witch!

Rate this book
Princess Pulverizer may not be a knight yet, but she won't let that stop her from saving the day!

When Princess Pulverizer comes across two identical witches--one good and one bad--it's the evil one she finds most enchanting. Another good lesson from the princess. Although in this book, she shows us that it’s sometimes easy to be pressured or swayed into doing bad things especially if others are doing same. This is a good lesson that beginning readers need to learn. I just wish that the evil twin would have ended the story coming to realize

I liked the way Princess Pulverizer did bad things and had to be set straight in this book. I did not like the way the sisters were named Anna and Elle, so much like Anna and Elsa.
I also thought the book was a bit too dark, I wanted a little redemption for the "bad guy".
My least favorite of the series.

As a father of twins, I came into this with my biases. Your mileage may vary.

Princess Pulverizer and her friends travel to a town where there's a good witch and an evil witch. The evil witch uses magic to exploit Princess Pulverizer's impatience and make her her personal knight.

I don't like the good twin/evil twin trope. And I would have liked a more empathetic ending.

Princess Pulverizer learns that shortcuts are not always as good as they first appear, and that insides matter more than outsides. Three more good deeds to go! Something happened in this book that makes me question the way this whole series will turn out... we’ll have to stay tuned!

All three of my young children (11, 7, 7) love the Princess Pulverizer books. The lessons are simple but enduring: friendship, kindness, good deeds, adventure, perseverance, courage, and reaching for big dreams even if others question them!

I think this installment of the series highlights some really important themes at an appropriate level for youngsters. Touching on peer pressure and being influenced to act in ways against how you usually do... And how to come back from it.

Short books are necessary for readers building their reading strengths. Short, fun, and adventurous books are more likely to be read with enjoyment.

One more act of kindness down on Princess Pulverizer's Quest of Kindness. She's grown so much since starting out, but she still has a lot to learn.
