Incredible book! I really liked the author’s mindset and the way he looks on life and business. I got a lot of insights from this book about how to see and invest in real estate and fantastic concepts to use in business. Highly recommended book!!!!

Stefan book is practical and I enjoyed his easy open minded style. He's a winner and I love meeting winners. He's a student who's wise enough to realize he's not the whole ball game and employs leverage with cash time and strategic deal partners.

Things my ear picked up on:

It's better to sell one 1k hot dog then one thousand 1 dollar hot dogs
Too often we want to own everything entirely by our self. So many investors and entrepreneurs are happier to own a single grape then half a watermelon.
Those who fail to pay for success rarely see it
War is business and business is war
Joint venture money
Time is the only currency in life
All wealth originates in the mind
All I want is all you are
A wide arsenal of credit cards
In business or real estate we always run out of money
In stocks insider information is illegal in real estate it's essential
People with money know people with money
Earn cash and brand equity
Protect money and it will protect you
Focus brings clarity to the mind
Pressure makes diamonds but it can also crush people
Failure is the essence of life
Life becomes very easy when we can find ways to win from failure especially when we can monetize these situations
Law of certainty
Certain things done in a certain way will achieve certain results certainly
The best deals are created not bought
Real estate is broken into markets submarkets and specific city blocks
Recession what recession where I come from there's always a recession the recession is a middle class problem not one for the rich or the poor
I became trapped by my own labor
In your business are you focusing on singles or home runs? Why have you chosen this strategy? Can you recover if you strike out?
The difference between the rich and the poor is how we invest our time
Poor people spend their time to save money rich people spend their money to save time
Succeeded mightily

Excellent

Stephan provides a very interesting perspective on real estate investing. Not only does he talk about the financial side of REI he also addresses the philosophical aspects.

Just perfect. Somehow the book is jam packed with great wisdom.... from such a young man too. He's collected plenty of straight truth n wisdom. This book is inspiring, informative, real and powerful. I unexpectedly loved it.

Lays out a straight forward formula. Short and sweet. Another great perspective on a Canadian self made case study.
