Bear Club #3

Sasha's Mountain Bear

Rate this book
Sasha's life hasn't always been easy and when she turns up at Fell's door, it's hardly a surprise when she wakes up with stitches and in a cast. How she got there is a mystery that he has to solve, but he knows that if he pushes her she might just run away.

Fell has a few mysteries of his own. He knows darkness, he'd sought out love and found only pain. Now he lives in the darkness with that pain, a recluse on his mountain. Together they might be able to heal each other, but only if they can both go beyond their pain and make a brand new start. Together.

Can Bear Club heal a woman with a broken past, and a shifter with a broken heart? Let the magic begin...

Warning: This novella contains scenes of violence and blood that might disturb some readers. As an author, I thought I'd give you the courtesy of that heads up. There are parts of this installment of Bear Club's universe that can be disturbing. Otherwise, this book contains scenes that are for mature audiences only and also contains some of those rather delicious bad words. Just so you know. Wink! Happy reading, readerland!

This is the first time thst i have read a nook by this author and i can't express how impressed i was with this book. There are certain topics that people tend to avoid, domestic abuse being one of them so i applaud this authors bravery at writing about this topic and doing it in such a way that shows no matter what your situation is, there is always hope and the ability to be able to change your life no matter how dire your situation feels. This author writes with such feeling and longing that it takes you right into the pages of this book so that you were experiencing everything alongside these characters, she also writes with such humanity, you can't help but empathise and sympathise with the characters, their pasts and the situations that they find themselves in.

Sasha is a hero in my eyes, she had been through so so much in her relatively young life and the fact that she can still get up every morning and function amazed me. I truly believe that this book could help others with abuse in their lives, although this is fiction it gives hope to others. Sasha’s bravery is unbelievable in it's strength, she is such a strong woman and the fact that she can still find in her to be able to love shows this inner strength that is beautiful to behold!
Fell is someone with strength physically as well as an inner strength, one that keeps him secluded, he will always help someone in need even though he likes his solitude. He has a lot of guilt from his past, that is unwarranted. You very quickly see how protective he is for those he cares about and you see how a big man can also be extremely gentle, his capacity to love is huge once you get past the barrier he keeps up to protect himself.

This is an amazing book that is worthy of 5*! I can't rate this book highly enough when I can't wait to read more of this author's addictive and page turning books!!!!

A knock on the door disrupted Fell, but he heard Sabrina’s voice asking him for a little help. She and her mate had a human woman sagging between them. The woman had been severely beaten and was unconscious. Since Fell was the closest they had to a doctor, they brought her to him for help. Unfortunately, as he got near her, he realized immediately and unhappily – much to Sabrina’s amusement -- that this woman was his mate!

Fell examined her bloody body to locate all the wounds and catalog the damage. She had a number of areas that needed stitching, and multiple broken bones, lacerations and knife-wounds, but not all of the blood belonged to her. When they rolled her over, her back was full of both new and old wounds that showed long-term abuse. Many burn wounds were infected and could compromise her chances of survival. When he finished, he hooked up an IV for antibiotics and pain meds.

Fell doesn’t want a mate. He wants to stay solitary. His mate’s arrival on his doorstep means that he has to help her heal and keep her safe. Who abused her this badly? Where did she come from? And how will he deal with the chemistry between them? After all, she’s human and he’s an alpha bear shifter who doesn’t think he deserves happiness!

This was a wonderful book that I thoroughly enjoyed! The character development was done very well, allowing the reader to get to know Fell and Sasha, and to see their strength as they both try to overcome their pain and learn to trust each other. The story line was very good and the fast pace and action kept the reader fully engaged. I definitely recommend this book!

Miranda Bailey writes about bear shifters with believability and plenty of red hot sizzling scenes.  In this book we meet fell who is trying to keep away from love and the human race when he finds Sasha on his doorstep badly injured. When she wakes up she has no idea how she got there nor how she got injured.  Fell really doesn't want to have a female in his home as he has a major secret and hasn't got any time for relationships.  But when he meets her, he realises that fate has played a trick on him as she is his mate.. His bear is ecstatic as he never thought he'd find her. But he must discover who did this to her and make sure that she is safe for the rest of her life.  There is some violence in this book so please be aware of that before buying this book if you don't like reading that sort of thing.  There is sizzling chemistry between Fell and Sasha that provides plenty of heat so be ready to switch on your fans/air con to max cool and enjoy the story.  This is a fun and entertaining read and I loved the way Sasha and Fell interacted and the ending was 'just right' for me.  I am a fan of this genre of books and Miranda's stories and I look forward to her next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

WONDERFUL romance, short, compelling and this weekend’s MUST-BUY!
OMW – these keep getting BETTER! Miranda Bailey has a winning formula in her “Bear Club” series, and this latest offering, “SASHA’S MOUNTAIN BEAR”, is absolutely the best! You can read the blurb to get a good idea of the plot, but what this reviewer wants to reveal is the important stuff readers want to know. (No SPOILERS!!) First, readers need to know that Miranda Bailey’s writing style is easy to read so the focus can be on those wonderfully quirky characters she develops and the suspense she builds into every plot. This one dealt with some heavy issues, yet Bailey's humor was evident. Second, those characters are rich and surprisingly well-developed considering “SASHA’S MOUNTAIN BEAR” is a novella. Third, the plot will keep her readers guessing, and turning page after page to find out what will happen next or what a particular character will choose to do. “SASHA’S MOUNTAIN BEAR” had me turning pages like crazy, and then all kinds of sad when I got to the end! I can hardly wait to see what happens in the next book!!! Get your copy of “SASHA’S MOUNTAIN BEAR”, today! Your weekend will be better for it. Although I don’t normally give five stars to short stories (novella length) “SASHA’S MOUNTAIN BEAR” earned them. Happy pages. 😉

This is my first book in Miranda Bailey's Bear Club series, and I'm looking forward to reading more of them! Great characters and storyline filled with secrets, regrets, and lots of soul-searching. Sasha Earls is human and has escaped her tormentor of 2 years, her brother. Fortunately, she wandered into Ursa Major Land woods and is rescued by grizzly-mates Sabrina and Tavin. They bring her to their alpha, Fell Sigurdson, who has been living as a hermit for years. Though her is 20 years her senior, he wants to protect and provide for her immediately. Fell is full of regrets and fears, but Sasha brings him inner peace. I loved the chemistry and relationship between the H and h!

I love a story of two broken people that come together as they each help heal each other. Fell loves his seclusion he lives in the mountains and has a rocky past. When Sasha ends up on his door step injured he knows something is not right and he wants to help Sasha.

And to make matters worst when Fell first sees he he finds out that Sasha is his mate. Just great. Now he needs to find out the threat and in the process these two began to fall for each other can this be exactly what they both need.
This is a quick read ansi enjoyed it quick and gets straight to the point so if that's what you like in a story give this one a try.

An emotional, angsty bear shifter romance. 💞💓🐻💞

Fell is an older bear shifter in the community who works on cars and gadgets and is the medic for the clan. He's resigned himself to being alone but when Sasha is brought in, near death and severely abused, he instantly knows she's meant to be his mate. If he can help her survive her injuries. As for how Sasha got her injuries, well that's a plot twist you don't read very often and it will make you cry. But the ending isn't what you imagine! 💗 😥🔥💕

This is the third book in the Bear Club series and it can be read as a standalone but it's better when read in the order it was written. 😉 🥰

I loved this story. It has so much twists and turns in it that you just have to read it to find out what happens. I loved Sasha a Fell together. They have this amazing chemistry and it just reaches out at you and captivates you. Sasha is such a strong person and even with all the struggles she endures she doesn’t turn into a scared or bitter woman. Fell is a quiet but strong male that has so much kindness and love. He is so protective and of course an alpha male. The story is well written and the flow is fantastic. This definitely worth reading and it doesn’t disappoint.

Surviving.. that is what both Fell and Sasha are trying to do. Fell's past has left him feeling unworthy and guilty. He has tried to "atone" by helping save everyone he can. Sasha is trying to survive and escape the he** that has found herself in. When her escape leaves her at death's door, Sasha is delivered to Fell's door. Will he be able to save her? Will he accept that he is worthy of being her mate? Having read all three books in this series, I have to say that this was my favorite.

This is a very sad and heartwarming story all at once and this is Sasha’s and Fell’s story. Sasha is beaten and left for dead on the road when she is found and taken to Fell he’s a doctor for the bear shifters. As soon as Fell see’s Sasha he knows that she is his mate but she’s human and he’s a bear shifter. That’s all I’m giving you guys, what a story there’s heartbreak, drama, intrigue, love and passion so much in this story to keep you entertained and turning the pages. A fantastic read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

I love Miranda Bailey's writing and this book didn't disappoint. It's a bear shifter story with a great story-line and well thought out believable characters that draw you into their story. I warn you there are some violent scenes, so if that's not your scene then it would be best to give this book a miss. As well as some quite hot scenes. If you enjoy Paranormal Romance especially bear shifters then you will certainly enjoy this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Even after the warnings from the author in the beginning of the book it was well worth my time and if you have been following this series like I have you can not say no to reading this.
Yes the beginning was rough (but expected) and yes it had me holding my breath at times but I thoroughly enjoyed this story and am now waiting with fingers crossed for the next book.

Fell never expected his mate to be carried through his front door, beaten half to death. Can he save her? Can she handle what he is? So many questions with no answers coming any time soon.
Sasha wakes in a strange place with a strange man beside her, but oddly, she feels perfectly safe. Safer than with her only remaining family.
Great story with great characters! I loved it!

This is the 3rd book in the Bear Club Series by this author.

Sasha is found by Sabina and Tavin unconscious and injured, they take her to healer Fell. Fell realises that Sasha is his mate. He heals her while having to deal with his feelings towards her. Does Sasha run when she finds out Fell is a shifter or do they get their HEA?

This book tugged at my heartstrings. Eventhough I haven't read the first 2 books, I was able to read this one without any problems. I loved that Fell was older and more or less a hermit. Sasha's had been through alot, and it definitely made my eyes water a little. This was an emotional read for me, and I absolutely loved it.

I Fell for Fell

I enjoyed the story. Of course I wanted closure but the series is keeping me intrigued not having it. What a concept, make short stories that continue in new books were the protagonist becomes the supporting character; yet, their story continues in the background of the new romantic characters new storyline.

Sasha lived an unbearably nightmarish existence until Sabina and Tavin found her and took her to Fell's place. Fell also had his own dark past to recover from and was able to with Sasha's help. I laughed when Sasha met Fell's bear.

This was just okay for me. I thought it was a bit on the boring side. Now having said that, just because I didn't enjoy it doesn't mean you won't. So please read all reviews and the authors synopsis if that is how you choose your books.

I really enjoyed this book and how strong a fighter Sasha is. The only complaint I have is what happened to her brother. Do we find out in future books?

Fell is stunned when he sees his two friends on his doorstep with an unconscious woman. The woman has been abused and has multiple injuries. Fell starts cleaning her wounds only to find older scars which only angers him further. Sasha wakes up in pain and unfamiliar surroundings afraid that he brother has gotten her she tries to get up only to notice a man sitting next to her bed. As Sasha begins to heal Fell finally admits to himself that she is his mate. Fell has had some trouble with love in the past and is worried that he could be wrong again so he doesn't make a move on Sasha. Sasha is attracted to Fell even after everything that she's been through. He doesn't see her as damaged and she likes that. After they talk about what happened to her Fell shares his past with her and they get closer. Sasha makes the first move towards them being together but will she still want Fell when she learns he is a bear shifter? Will Sasha's brother return to get her?

This was a great story and will have you on the edge of your seat from the first page. The chemistry between Fell and Sasha is a slow burning flame waiting to ignite. This is a well written and very entertaining story.

This is the last book in the series to re-release and it's got the extra bonus of an additional new story added to the end to tie up the series nicely. The main story and first part of the book is all about Sasha and Fell. It's a very heart-warming story full of emotion. Both Fell and Sasha have had hard lives and tragedies in their pasts. In this story you learn a bit of the backstory for the series and find out what happened to Sabina, Travis, and Quinn's parents all those years ago and how it effected not only their lives but Fell's most of all. Sasha escaped her kidnapper after a year of abuse and finds her way to the Bear Club battered and broken. Fell's medical skills and kind heart help to heal her and together they find love, healing, and happiness. And the second part of the book is the conclusion of the series featuring Telma, Micah, and Neven. Telma has led an unconventional life but is getting by by working at a bar. When danger comes crashing into her life, Micah rescues her and along with Neven takes her back to Bear Club. With their story you finally get the nice and tidy conclusion to the series that readers always want.

Enjoyable story with intrigue, danger, mystery & romance. Sasha had been abused and tortured for a long time. When she is found in the carpark of the Club, Fell treats her injuries and assists her back to health. Fell doesn’t think he deserves a mate, but fate has other ideas. The addition of Telma’s story has added another dimension to the original book. I enjoyed this re-release very much.
