Summer just wants to keep her apartment out of the hands of the Shyft hotel investors. They'll make it so expensive that she, and her neighbors, will be out on the street. She has to convince the owner to make a change. What she doesn't know is the evil hotel mogul is also the guy she's falling in love with.
When secrets are revealed, will Summer and Abraham both be able to get past the deception? Or did fate have it wrong this time?

Pros: Interesting take on the genre. The shifters are kind of known, but not really. They don’t seem to ‘know’ their mate as quickly as most others, and it makes the story a little more exciting. Cons: The main character, Abraham was a jerk who viewed just about everyone as less then and only useful in whatever ways they could please or do for him. His character got only slightly better by the end. The main female lead was initially interesting and someone who was more then willing to stand up for herself and had self respect, telling where to go when he brings her to the 3rd floor public sex room and assuming she would be into having sex with him in a public way when they just met. Sadly shortly after she went ahead and has sex with at a restaurant after lunch and in a very public way. Sorry but that just kills it for me. She wasn’t the strong character she started out is and book just became a raunchy sex fest.
After the first book I was prepared for an arrogant rich man, but not to the extent of Abraham Johnson. He was just too full of himself for me to like at all. Summer was ok but not outstanding, in my opinion. I did like that she wanted to protect her neighbors and the old man was great. After talking with him and his words of wisdom, she finally started thinking things through. I look forward to the next brother’s story and their sister’s story, too. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Couldn't even finish the book. The heroine stood up for herself in the beginning. She said she refused to let him have sex with her just because he wanted to. But the next time he saw her they had oral sex. The time after that she let him have anal and by that time there wasn't even a story, just never ending sex. That's okay for some but not me. I love a good story with wonderful sex not the opposite. No thanks. Won't recommend.
This story is a little bit different from the first but I like that Summer was different from most woman that are usually in these books. She was independent and has self worth but she wasn't to the point where you where like I cant see her as a love interest. I'm anticipating what will come next in the books to follow to see how the characters will differ from the ones we've already met.
Wow I enjoyed reading Abraham. The characters are amazing and entertaining but I must say that I have a real fondness for bear shifter stories and I want to tell everyone how much I enjoy reading this book and I'm so excited to read the next book by Terra Wolf
A fun and exciting read with plenty of sexiness that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I loved Summer's snarkiness and how she keeps Abraham on his toes. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
I thought Ellis was demanding but I think of the two Abraham is the more dominant. He was determined to have Summer at any cost. I knew Daniel was a loser.
Loved the characters. Strong man, very strong woman who knew what she wanted and went after it. Read it cover to cover and will continue the series. Very well done.
Abraham is a very rich bear shifter with a players attitude. He is in real estate, loves to buy and fix up.
Summer is a dancer in a cabaret club that he likes to frequent and doesn't know who he is, which surprises him. Cocky man that he is. He tries brings her upstairs which she wasn't aware of and when the door opened there was alot of people in the room being intimate in the open with everyone in the same room. She freaked out and left him there.
Well they meet again as he is buying her apt complex and converting to condos and giving the renters the option to purchase their apts and having say in the renevations.
