I really liked most of the stories. There were a couple that I had trouble with but even those were not so bad in the end. I enjoy short stories because my time is tight so this book was right up my alley. I also enjoy the twilight zone types of stories where things are not what they seem and the story gets twisted. This collection of stories definitely does that. Hope there are more stories like this in the author's future.

This is my first time reading Daniel Willcocks and I'm sold! I also love short stories, they're great for my ADHD. And I love how some are futuristic. He's got a really natural writing style and a vivid imagination.

Twisted: A collection of Dark tales by Daniel Willcocks twist your mind till the very last page, leaving you almost breathless. The stories make you wonder what really resides in our mind and what can turn a normal and quite human being into a psychopath of some sort.
I found myself intrigued and unable to turn my light off, too afraid that something could have crept up from under the bed during the night. Willcocks has the power of twisting and darkens up our reality turning the sane part of us insane.
Each story is a journey that creeps up slowly, quietly, almost subtly, peaking up all at once leaving us wanting, searching, and craving for more of that eerie feeling.

4 creepy star on your way.
I received an ARC from the Author in exchange for an honest review.

This compilation of stories are on point. I am a big horror, thriller & suspense fan and some of the stories had me hanging by a thread. There are a few that are my favorites. Some even reminded me of the works of my favorite author, Stephen King. It was the 26th story that really consumed me as I was drawn in--my most favorite. I would love to read more books from this author and maybe see some of his work make it on the big screen--kudos Mr. Willcocks!!!

A really good collection of short stories, all unsettling and creepy. There are even some of them I wish will be extended into a full novella.

I loved the way normality becomes creepiness in a subtle way and how deeply you engage with each of the stories, to the point you'll found yourself murmuring 'Just one more and I'll go to sleep' until you turn the last page and wonders why there isn't more :D

Twisted Indeed!!
A great book of short stories for those who have limited reading time.
Some of the stories are totally warped (in a creepy way) and will give you chills down your spine & raise the hair on the back of your neck. All in all a fabulous read and will be looking forward to reading more from this author 👍🏻
