As I was reading this book, I found I was agreeing with much of it and was open-minded to all of it, even though I actually wanted to reject some of what is written. The practices are equally subtle and practical. The overall philosophy of Peter Blackaby's system makes a great deal of sense, even though it challenges quite a lot of traditional form and method. It is a good antidote to some yoga practices that have developed a reputation for potentially causing injury. 'Intelligent Yoga' is an engaging read and I'd recommend it to both teachers and students. My only complaint is with the e-book version, a few of the photos are chopped in half, with the top half at the bottom of one page and the bottom half at the top of the next page.

A really good book exploring how we map our bodies to maintain and increase functional movement. A real joy to read

A modern take on yoga. Pretty good explanation of the benefits of yoga both physically and mentally without relying on ancient texts.
