In book four of the Lady Riders: Sky “Bob” Lang discovers the best night of her life has left her in a position she never planned to be in—beholden to a man. It isn’t her style; she’s not built that way. Her childhood made that decision for her.
Ryker “Bear” Devlin has spent more time thinking about one woman than he cares to and it pisses him off. He is not the relationship type of man; he never will be, but one night is all it takes for the tiny woman to break down the wall he has built around his heart and give him a gift along with it. He just needs her to accept what he has to offer and not screw it up.
The Ops Warriors and Lady Riders face a major shakeup, one that will bring them all back together, as long as they make it through.
4.5 Stars Baby bear is book four in the lady rider’s series. This book is bob’s story. I really liked this story. I read this book in one sitting and wasn’t once bored. I absolutely adore Bear. I wanted to steal him and keep him for myself. I liked Bob, I thought her issues with relationships would annoy me but I completely understood them. I loved Bear and Bob as a couple. They were perfect for one another. Neither one of them were willing to back down. They were both tough and kickass. They knew how to handle themselves and keep others around them safe. My only disappointment was that we don’t get to see Bob give birth or have her baby yet in this story. I seriously hope she has a labour scene in another book. I want to see her with her baby and think she would be hilarious when she is in labour. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is a gripping read. I cannot wait to read more books from this series.
Well hell I can't believe it! I surely thought my eyes were deceiving me but they sure as fuck weren't! Ms. McRide went ahead and strayed from the formula! Just one chick and ONE dude! I still can't believe it...lol! At least not with this series!
In any case this wasn't too bad. Bob wasn't my favorite character, mainly because she was so fucking bitchy for no reason at all. So she had a shitty childhood, same old fucking story, different fucking biker or in this case biker chick. Grow up and keep it pushing sister, that's what everyone else has done. To act the way she did and say the things she did to the one man who did every and any thing he could to take care of her was a fucked thing to do. She was lucky he was talked into coming back to her. These damn bikers, males and females alike, always judge their current partners based on their childhood experiences but I guess that's just human nature.
Everything else going on in this book was confusing as hell. I had no idea what was going down nor why, even after everything was said and done. It was interesting how the Ops, Savages and Furies had the upper hand the whole time, my question is HOW? Just based on that small Intel Bear gathered while in Mexico? That doesn't really seem like enough but apparently it was, it's so farfetched...IDK.
Overall...lots of bitchiness, pregnancy hormones, tons of meddling of both of female and male persuasion, some wily and cunning planning...Oh and hot sweaty sex...not altogether bad but not fabulous neither, just a nice page turner...
Absolutely loved Baby Bear!! 5 Stars for book four of McRide's Lady Riders Series. Bob is the smallest of the Lady Riders and Bear is the Enforcer of Furies MC , he built like a Bear. They will have one night of passion that will change their lives forever. Happy Reading!!
I Love Harley Mcride!!! I look forward to her books. I love how she incorporates all her characters from past books. The chemistry between her always sizzle.... MuST Read!!!!
Nothing much happened in this book. Well a lot of changes was made in the mc club but not much action and drama. It was still a great read and you should absolutely read it!
God I love this series!!! These woman are AWESOME! Their tough, hard and love men. They take no shit and nothing will hurt their family. This book has the lady riders showing you a look into this group of sisters and how they take care of each other.
