A seasoned porn star needs love too!
Hero, Kirk was actually about to film his last porn video when he meets curvy heroine, Bella who was filming a video to make ends meet after her cheating and conniving ex boyfriend, Eric posted their amateur porn video online. She's lost her job at a law firm while Eric was only placed on probation wherever he was employed ----Double standards of course!!!!!!!!!!!! But with Kirk's connections, he gets his attorney friend, Chad to handle a case against eerie Eric! H/h starts dating because of their attraction to one another and it was so more than just sex. Remember they had already had sex due to porn video so the relationship was based on that "that intense connection" they both felt for one another. I liked how their common interests was talked about in conversation, visiting Bella's friend Cathy, cooking together, went on dates and eventually... enough spoilers!
Read Rock Hard... it's so much more to this memorable story than the porn angle of the story. It's Sam Crescent's gripping way of telling a good story with her readers feeling fully satisfied with all parts of the story cleared up!

A sweet and cute story. Hell yeah sex and the porn industry. Two sentences that don't seem to belong together but that is novel fantasy. Great 20 year later epilogue and great quick read.

This is the twelfth book in the Curvy Women Wanted series by Sam Crescent. I don’t normally like books where the H is a porn star but I really liked this one. Kirk Allan aka Rock Hard is nearing the end of his career in the porn industry and luckily he’s invested very wisely. His last movie is with a plus sized actress who is new to the business. Bella is 30 years old, she used to be a secretary at a prestigious law firm. Until her ex-boyfriend who cheated on her sold their private sex tape and she was fired. She’s desperate and that’s why she signed on to do an adult film with the famous Rock Hard. Kirk was pissed off when he found out why Bella was doing the movie and did everything in his power to make her feel comfortable.

Honestly, at the beginning I wasn't sure about this story. And I wasn't sure why. Maybe Bellas openes with Kirk. Spilling her story to him few seconds after meeting... That something I'm just not fond of.
But later that 'I wasn't sure' dissapeard and I enjoyed the story. It was quick and insta. I liked Kirk. I liked how quickly he claimed his girl. No hesitation. Just 'she's the one' and 'she's mine'. And Bella was pretty lucky girl despite all the mess she ended up in because of her ex. From all that, she got something special and lasting.

A bit unrealistic.
Yes, revenge porn is an issue.
But it shouldn’t force the victim into doing porn to pay her bills. She worked for a law firm and there was no one there to represent her?
Kirk is almost a too good to be true hero. Open about his work, supporting of wronged women etc etc.
But, preferring bigger women isn’t a personality trait and doesn’t make you wonderful.
Would he have been supportive if Bella decided she wanted to do and remain in porn?
And, all in all, he was great. Until the bit about having shotguns to show potential suitors for his daughters.

At first I thought a story about a "porn" star would be tacky and filled with nothing but sex but I should have known better. Sure, there is sex in the story because of the storyline but we also get to peer into the lives of Kirk and Bella and find out why they are staring together in a porn movie!! This was a quick and very hot read as only Sam Crescent can write. There is no cheating once the characters get together and I was worried about that. Kirk is actually a very nice guy and he takes Bella under his wing, so to speak, helping her relax during the filming! The readers find out why she is doing this and Kirk's reaction to it. Just a cute little story and I loved the epilogue at the end.

This story is short, fast paced and easy to read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. Rock hard is book twelve in the curvy women wanted series. I liked this story but it wasn’t my favourite of the series.
Despite the circumstances, I liked how Bella and Kirk met. The chemistry between them is instant. I liked them together. I liked how Kirk put Bella at ease. He could see that she was nervous about her first porn star job.
I liked Kathy. I liked how she helped Bella and how protective she was of her friend.
I liked that Bella got justice for what her ex did to her. I liked Kirk’s lawyer friend helped her.

Bella full figured woman scheduled for a porn shoot. She is doing because she needs the money. She is scared. Her ex leaking a sex tape to the internet got her fired from her job. She is doing this as a last resort.
These two have some hot chemistry. I liked this story was really well written. The characters have great chemistry. Which is what really draws me to a story.
If you want a sizzling hot story this one fits the bill nicely.

Little different premise. Two meet on the set of a porn movie. Kirk has been in the industry for several years and is 40 years old and approaching retirement. Bella is 30 years old and this is her first movie. She’s lost everything in a bad relationship and a viral video of her making love to her former boyfriend.
The meet cute in this book involves immediate sex scenes for the movie.
The whole book was handled rather well, and these two lovers end up have a real life relationship.
I enjoyed reading their story. Not much angst, a lot of genuine attraction and adult handling of their relationship.

Kirk aka Rock Hard was pretty well known in the porn industry. He enjoyed making his movie. When Bella came along things changed. Bella didn’t want this life. She had no choice. Her ex sold a tape of them together and now she had no job and needed an income. Ok, we all know that that industry can be dicy like any other. Kirk was a positive in it. There are a lot of negatives. But when he meets Bella, there is something about her that is not only refreshing but innocent. I would say that these two were made for each other but it is more a surreal affect.
