Hayley Cage never expected to find herself on the other side of the galaxy, as a healer on a team of rough and tough mercenaries hunting Satan's secret army.
But then, life doesn't always go as planned.
If it did, her mother wouldn't be on the most wanted list, her father wouldn't have been murdered, and she would be training at the Republic Military Academy, instead of prepping for a routine drop and rescue mission against a minor fiend.
A routine mission that's about to go straight to Hell.
When bad intel leads to a worse situation and the minor fiend turns out to be a major pain in the asteroid, Hayley is the last one standing, forced to navigate the sudden chaos and fighting to survive. If she doesn't, her new family will wind up as broken as the first, casualties of a sick experiment and fodder for a deadly creation.
The only demons more powerful than the ones on the ground are the ones in Hayley's head, and if she's going to help stop this new threat from spreading across the galaxy, she'll have to find a way to defeat both.

3.5 Stars. A good story with good characters. I'm not sure what genre to really label this book. Science fiction in the sense of the space travel and technology. In some aspects though, it feels more like a super hero novel which isn't as much my cup of tea. I definitely enjoyed the fast pace and the never-ending action in this novel. I think I would have liked to have known a few more characters, especially from the original Riders but I suspect there is more to this universe than just this one book that I've read.
“Bastards know how to ruin a good time, that’s for sure.”
Surprisingly, I really got into this one. Surprisingly, because I only managed 2.5 of the books in the original series (I just couldn’t connect with Abbey).
But I loved the Colonel & I really liked Hayley (Abbey’s daughter - the female protag in this spin-off).
“I think I love you,” he said. “I have a boyfriend,” she replied. “He’s an asshole.” “So are you.”
Fast-paced as usual. Action packed as usual. Full of aliens & tech & just enough feels to make me...well, feel.
The Covenant story resumes, with the focused switched many years into the future and away from The Rejects and it is now on Hayley Cage (Witchy), Quark and his Riders(well for a bit!), they are joined by a few new allies. Tibor is definitely a good addition to the fray.
A good fun story with the heart of The Rejects but without the humour and the camaradie. There's plenty of action and the demise of characters both heroes and villians. And it ends up setting up the chase into the next two books.
An enjoyable listen(I had the audiobook of this one) but one that missed using the Riders properly in my opinion.
Well this was a bit of a disappointment, Halley is nothing like she was in the original series. It seems she has forgotten everything that's happened. And she exchanged her love for her mother with a huge fragging chip on her shoulder against her mother. The author did keep his annoying habit of Nothing Good Ever Happens without paying for it twice over with melodramatic suspense. I hold out hope that she might get back some of what she lost but I don't expect that will happen. The story over all was not bad. We'll have to see how book 2 goes.
Blind Justice🔫🗡💥💪 is Not So Blind👀 Military sci-fi🚀🐺💪🔫🗡💥 with fantasy and Paranormal elements. This book deviates from straight military sci-fi🚀💫💥 space opera to include Some monstrous Shape shifters👹 and a blind heroine healer that can see the auras of living beings in various colors. So, fans of standard military sci-fi🚀💫 may not like this series that much.. I got this ebook from Amazon📚 with Kindle Unlimited.
Hayley Cage, daughter of the Demon Queen, proves as resilient, resourceful, and unpredictable as her mother. Her character is compelling and strong. I like following up in this universe with strong young Hayley as the main character. Action is nonstop. I look forward to the next book.
Like mother, like daughter. An excellent start to a new series
This is a really good start to a chapter for Healey Cage, abandoned after her mother disappears and is is brought up to heal and care for others. She is also trained to be able to fight when needed and Quark is confident she can... Read on
A well constructed plot, a crew of stalwart heroes , gaggle of rotten villains...what more could one ask for? Besides all that, it's a fun, action packed read. Get it...you'll like it
A great follow up to the hells rejects series. Now the daughter becomes the mother. Still wish we knew what happened to Queenie. But this feels like another thrill ride.
Sorcery and space ty it’s best. Young lady and old coger makes for great combo add in alien turned against his own and a formidable trio is on the move.
