Jockey’s agent Will Reeves is back in New York for a big weekend of racing—while dealing with the emotional fall-out of coming to terms with his bisexuality. A dating app aimed at riders and those who love them sounds enticing, but the app’s creator might be more Will’s speed.
Jocks was a really nice quick and steamy read. Tightly written, with interesting insight to the character's lives. Loved the clever use of double entendre in the dialogue and writing. There is not much sex in the story, but it is one of the sexier things I have read just because of the sexual tension between the characters. Highly recommend this.
Cute and emotional short story about a jockey agent who just accepted his own bisexuality, a dating app for jockeys, and the apps creator. It was very emotional and not always light, and I was totally intrigued and would love to read a full novel about these characters - the short format didn't do them and their emotions justice, and there was so much going on in the background, so many names and terms, that warrants more pages!
JOCKS is a short, sweet romance set in the world of professional horse racing (not, admittedly, something I know much about). Will has very recently come out as bisexual, and is figuring out what that means for him personally and professionally while starting to date men for the first time.
Will and Max were adorable together. I would have liked seeing a little more of Will's disasters on-page, rather than hearing about them in the past or in passing, but this choice kept the focus squarely on the main relationship. I thought it ended on just the right note for a short story, leaving me happy but wishing for more.
ii guess it was supposed to be sweet and lovely shortie but unfortunately i am bored out of my mind. it felt more like a beginning of a boo than an actual story.
