My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!

Caiden
This is the first book in this series, and it is for adults only due to the steamy content. This is a very quick read at only 55 pages.
I found the idea of this series very intriguing. I enjoyed this book and the humor involved with being compelled to click. Mandy is impulsive, but she is open to ideas because most people would be freaked out. Caiden starts out cavemanish, but he grows on you. I think anyone who enjoys Violet’s work will find an enjoyable story!
Hunter
This is the 2nd book in Violet’s series. It is for adults only due to the steamy content. I highly recommend reading them in order because you know the characters and past events better making it much more enjoyable. It is still a quick read at only 58 pages.
I feel like I connected better with Lexi and Hunter’s story, and it didn’t feel like it was rushed. Both Lexi and Hunter are intelligent and perfect for each other. I enjoyed reading their story. I like these stories as a quick read before bed or between novels.
Logan
This is the 3rd book in this novella series. Book 2 is still my favorite so far. This is a quick read at about 60 pages long. It is for adults only due to the steamy content.
I really enjoyed the story, but I’m not Susie homemaker and didn’t connect as well with Eliza. I understand her insecurities, and I really would not want to be in the spotlight. Eliza thinks she is being manipulated, and this is about her realizations and them working as a team. Logan is hard to get a read on, but I think it happens when he is uncomfortable. I can’t wait to see where the series goes next!
Jake
This is the 4th book in the series, and this one is different from the first 3 because the rules for finding a match has changed. It is not necessary to read them in order, but I think it makes it more enjoyable. This series is for adults only due to the steamy content.
I liked how Hannah and Jake are opposites, but they complement each other’s differences. Jake is straight laced; Hannah is chaotic and artistic. Hannah has a great set of friends who are there for her and take care of her. I enjoy these HEAs where they take care of each. This is another quick read at 65 pages.
I really enjoy Violet’s aliens, and they make for a great read in between bigger books! HEAs always make me happy because you feel happy at the end for the characters.
Oliver
This is the 5th book in this series, and it is for adults only due to the steamy content. It is novella length and a quick read at 67 pages long. While it is not mandatory to read them in order, I think you will like it more if you do read them in order because it makes the world much richer.
I really like Oliver. I think he is intelligent and quick to try and help. Morgan was a control freak in the beginning, and I was on the verge of really not liking her. I understand why she was acting the way she was, but I still wanted to slap her. She does redeem herself in the end.
I wish this book was longer because parts were a bit disjointed to me and abrupt in the transitions. I think with the things going on in this book that it could have been a full novel. I like this series, and I can’t wait to see what Violet cooks up next!
Tristan
This is the 6th book in the series, and it is for adults only due to the steamy scenes. I would recommend reading the books in order or at a minimum reading book 4 and 5 before 6 as these 3 books are related and reference each other.
I think this book could have been expounded on to be a full novel. I felt the ending was abrupt, but I do really like the book and series. I’m sure this is something authors deal with all the time on whether to keep it a novella or develop it into a novel. I really like Cassie and Tristan, and I also really like her friends and their new husbands. I hope we get follow up on them and the ladies from the first 3 books. It would be interesting to learn more about the president or what happens after this book with Lara.
I recommend to Sci-fi fans who like romance with an alien partner mixed with some humor!

1 🌟- Terrible set of carbon copy novellas with wafer thin characters and plodding plots with humongous plot holes. Only read if you need challenge filler! The best I can say is at least it was only a short novella bundle.

Not too bad
The stories were short. They weren't too bad. The earth had a plague that wiped out most of the men. The women of earth are searching for companionship. A planet is found that has humanoid people.
Later in the series earth women find out they are compatible with these men. So their dreams of having families are realized. They just have to get over their hangups to make their marriages work. Very cute.

Mail Order Groom
All of the stories were fine except the last one. Tristan, it seems a few things were left out. Like what Henry Wyatt did to Lara and her conniving law firm! I hate being left hanging! Don't forget President Stone aka manhater/dictator. What happened to her? Tying up loose ends would write another book.

Loved It
I enjoyed the box set immensely. There's humor, friendship, drama, hold your attention from beginning to end, and steamy hot romance with awesome characters. A wonderful alien romance and highly recommended.

This box set was confusing. The order of the stories is not the same order if you bought them separately. Also there was quite a bit missing. Like what happened to Jake and Tristan when they were arrested? What about Cassie's law firm and their evil hands in those arrests? Too many pieces missing.

May 24, 2018DNF - read first 2 books but couldn't seem to get into these stories. The "aliens" talked with "human" slang and it just didn't sound right. May pick up at a later date.
