I was not expecting to like this as much as I did. It’s not too bad as far as a kids book talking about grief and loss goes, and I think it fits well with the show.

This book isn’t that bad for a kids book. I really like the plotline with the parents, the Creepslayerz, dictatious and Strickler all working together to defeat the Nyarlagroth. The characters have a fun dynamic together and I wish that this plotline would have its own episode in the series. I would’ve loved to see it get animated but it sucks that it never will.

In this book it explores more about Draal’s backstory and his family when he was young. It was really nice, especially because Draal is my favourite character and the book focusing on him made it more enjoyable. I also liked how in the end Draal and Kanjigar talked together
