Another page turner...

The Body Drop begins where the Firecracker King left off, late summer/early fall of 1965 New Jersey. Seventeen year old Jake Johnson is dealing with the aftermath of his ordeal with the Young family, waking in cold sweats and haunted by nightmares. While clearing his mind in a remote cove on the other side of the lake, he meets an old Codger who spins a bootlegging yarn, and intrigue’s Jake with a map of buried treasure.

And so the adventure begins… finding treasure, keeping treasure, avoiding mobsters, surviving Neandertholic bullies, and a race to keep his friends and family safe.

I read this book in an afternoon, laughed out loud, shed a tear or two, and the author promises a third book coming soon. Highly recommend this story for readers of mystery, adventure, thrillers, and coming of age.

Simply, it’s a great read.
